Hello BCCSTAN,

it's been a while since I've logged on. I just got your response.

You're right, we've been working on this for quite a while. Still, I know I'm doing better than if I wasn't using that SparkPeople. I believe the real goal for all of us is to get healthy. Here's to your health! Good luck to you

Whether it is 5 or 6 doesn't matter. We have all been at this for a while. I have not lost my weight and kept any off. I am back to Spark now and hoping to get very serious about it again. I am only 4 pounds from my highest weight. Doctors orders have brought me back to SparkPeople today. I am to lose about 18 pounds in 4 months. I can do it. After that the Doc says he will have another goal with a deadline.

6 years for me in February! Let's see....over 600,000 air miles traveled, 5 trips to China, 3 rounds of P90X, 2 rounds of Insanity, one lay-off, biceps tendon repair, one frozen shoulder. Whew!

Today I'm at the same weight I joined at. Now that I'm home rehabbing my shoulder, I decided to focus on my diet for 2013 -- by tracking food. I hate doing it, but the things we dislike the most are usually the things we need the most.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds by my niece's wedding in July -- and keep it off in 2015. That's only 3 pounds a month -- certainly attainable.

What you eat in private you wear in public.

I weigh less than I did 5 years ago. I was down 75 pounds from my highest weight, now I am down 60 pounds from my highest weight. I still have 50 more to go.
