Dorothy~Hope you have a good Monday!

Kohl~You have certainly had a LOT going on around you. Will be praying.

Maegann and the roomie got things worked out last night thankfully. Now my concern is just her health. She's still unable to keep much down and has a fever spike off and on. I don't think this is covid related any longer. I think it's due to the inner ear issue. Poor kid just needs a break so she can back to work. She has called the doctor and they said they would get back with her today.

Isaac was still at it last night (ugh), but I'll write the coach today and see what he says about tryouts next week. If the behaviors we've had at home recently are seen at open gym then the coach has every right to say "no." I just need this little task off my list!

Dorothy — Sounds like you've been busy with wok and animals. Done any Christmas shopping yet?

Janet — Looks like you are Auggies keeper! Presently we have two tree frogs, two cats, and a hamster.

This has been a difficult month. Fiona's medicine changes went awry...first did nothing so she had a hypomanic episode but we dealt with it at home. The next medicine made her feel happy but wired and after a week and a half caused anxiety. So she hit a low for a few days when we switched to another medicine. She seems to be okay now. Whew!

My husband was in a car accident last Monday. Another driver failed to yield to him. The care appears to be totaled. Since the car was eighteen years old we will not get what it was worth to us. Not sure what we will do for a second vehicle since he is currently unemployed. His leg is hurting from where it hit the middle console and he is deciding whether he needs to have it looked at since it's been a week.

Fiona's college sent everyone home two days before scheduled last week due to a sharp rise in COVID cases on campus. Since she was not instructed to quarantine by the health department or school and our state is comparable with their state on Covid % so Gavin and Maeve are on their way here for Thanksgiving.

My mom fell recently and found out this Wednesday that she needs a knee replacement soon. Her knee and foot are not moving in sync when she turns,

My sister had to have an emergency blood transfusion because her hemoglobin was extremely low. She sees a blood oncologist today.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Dorothy~Glad you have a later start today for work.

Yes, Auggie was rescued as a therapy dog and she even certified him as an emotional support dog. I do think a cat will be better in an apartment since there are four humans living there. If it was just her and Michaell it would be easier for Auggie to adjust.

I agree about kids asking another parent being normal, but yesterday it was all about the behavior/attitude in which it was offered. I am still struggling with Isaac today as he just can't/won't accept any responsibility for the way things happen. Some days it is tough to know if it is a can't or a won't. He also talks around "his truth" and yesterday he started in on how many aren't learning anything this year at school. Not sure who "all these people" he's talked about this with are because in the next subject he is upset because nobody will talk with him. My analysis: I want to homeschool again. Makes my brain tired! LOL

Thankful for a quiet day to just enjoy football Sparking and my puzzle.

Janet - weird - I thought I posted yesterday.

I think I would have fallen asleep listening to the attorney press conference as well.

Sorry about Isaacs behavior - someday hopefully he will be so grateful as to how much you are actually on his side. Although I think asking another parent when one parent says no is actually quite normal for kids.

Hope you were able to get through all of your errands ok.

Good thing you like Auggie - was he not bought for Maegann as a therapy dog?? I hope the Siamese cat works out for them - I hear they can be quite temperamental.

Worked yesterday - opened - today I do not go in until 2:30 grateful as it will give me time to get some stuff down around here.

I'm so tired today so I've been taking it very slow. The house wasn't empty long enough as Tim and Isaac both got back by 12:30. I had hoped for a couple more hours. Then it didn't help that Isaac just immediately became aggressive verbally with me and that just put my wall up towards him so fast. Couldn't believe (well, I can actually) he "told" me he was going to the Rec Center. I told him I wasn't playing taxi today as I had errands this afternoon and didn't need more. He got frustrated and said, "Then I'll go ask dad." I called him on bypassing my "no" and he said asking the other parent when the other one doesn't want to take you isn't wrong. I told him that I agree to a point, but that when the person requesting something is being very selfish and aggressive it is not the best decision. Tim knew something was happening and Isaac didn't ask him yet so now Tim has a heads up and has no plan to take him either. Not going to reward this behavior.

Now, transfer this to basketball at the school. This is the type of behavior the coach is concerned about so it makes it very difficult for me to say "He won't react aggressively." Coach's main concern right now is the unknown of his response if Isaac were to get cut at tryouts. That's why I think I need an adult there. I do believe the coach shouldn't be putting the past two year's behaviors into his decision for this year as there has been maturity, but it makes me think there has been more aggressive looking behaviors at open gym. How would I know since I'm not there and Isaac won't believe he was acting in that manner because he just doesn't have that self awareness.

So, my errands this afternoon are to the pharmacy and to pick up groceries. Just going to make Haystacks for supper as it is extremely simple and I have zero care about creating anything tonight.

Well, it appears Auggie is "mine" as M&M rescued a Siamese cat last night from a foster "mom". She is 9 weeks old, chipped and fixed so at least that expense is gone. M&M were both concerned about cat allergies, but Siamese are known not to have that issue with people. They have made arrangements with the foster mom should they need to cancel because of allergies, but so far neither has noticed anything. The other two boys really like the cat too and Maegann said it is already so well trained that they don't even have to think about leaving her home alone for a few hours. She brought the cat by today so I could meet her, but Auggie was hyper about it and wanted M's attention.

Dorothy~So good you had a quiet evening!

Today has been good and I'm enjoying not feeling tired!! I got through a training webinar, a couple of client phone calls, had my outing to re-test for Covid and now I'm Sparking before heading to work on my puzzle. That never did happen yesterday as I fell asleep until dark.

Maegann is doing a little better Covid-wise. She finally got a couple days of rest which helped a lot. She took Auggie over to the apartment last night and dropped him back off about 10:30 this morning as she was going Door Dashing. I noticed she brought his crate and all the supplies too so it must have been more difficult than she imagined. We'll see!

Isaac and basketball. I still need to connect with the Coach. Not ready today to write that email and I have time. I do believe I will have to line up an adult to go be at tryouts as a support just so the Coach knows he needs to grow up and play fair.

Finally have a "fit" for a volunteer task at church and depending on my test result I have training scheduled on the 30th. It will be helping in the office. I remember how much I appreciated the ladies who would come in to help when I was the office manager at a church. I don't really want it to be a weekly thing though.

Dorothy~We are still windy and rain showers here today. The gray makes it easy to stay inside and rest though!

Not much came through for paid work today (thankful) so I've done personal desk work and enjoyed another Hallmark Now Christmas movie (Christmas Cruise). I'm about ready to take a power nap and then get my puzzle out. A nice quiet day!

Janet - I am so sorry that this is such an ongoing issue with Isaac - especially since he has come such a long ways. Its just not fair.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today - sounds like the struggle is real.

I was just tired yesterday - hopefully won't be so tired today. Got to be earlier last night.

We did get some snow yesterday - and it is still windy but not as windy. Going to be cold and windy here again today and then into the 50's tomorrow.

Dorothy~I am sure it didn't help that Covid came right after the water fast and I wasn't preparing as healthy/clean foods as I normally would have because I just didn't feel good and didn't care. Sugar is definitely a substance that causes issues. We're just having rain and wind here.

I woke up late and was still so tired that I just snuggled up with Auggie on the sofa until noon. I did take a couple of phone calls while there so it was definitely a "conference call" today! My brain was still foggy all afternoon, but I made it through five employment packets (one client) that were all needing something else finished before I could submit them. I did enjoy a Christmas movie on Hallmark while I worked.

I still need to contact the basketball coach, but I couldn't get my brain around it easily so figured this was not the day. One of the calls in the morning was with the VP at the school. I have to say I am glad that our Covid level was raised again so open gym is probably done anyway as there is only 1-2 more of them this week. Tryouts, if they happen, are the Monday and Tuesday following Thanksgiving. I just want to make sure Isaac will be allowed to tryout and if I need to hire an adult to be there for social/emotional support I will do it. Still think this coach needs a lesson in dealing with special needs athletes that do have some skills.

Janet - hopefully you will figure it out this go around. I have noticed I have been achy and am wondering if I am eating too much sugar.

Nice to have a beautician in the the family who will make house calls. I use to have a good friend who would come to the house to cut our hair.

We are getting snow now right now and possible into tomorrow - then it is suppose to warm back up into the 50's.

I slept in this morning and still had a sore shoulder and headache going on. Maegann did come over this afternoon and gave both Tim and I our haircuts. She cut a lot off of mine and I could feel the headache lessening as she worked. Still not 100% gone, but it was definitely part of the constant strain on my head. She took her shears home with her as all three boys were wanting their hair cut tonight.

Other than that, I got a plan draft written and made some phone calls. Next up I'm heading back to the sofa.

I also have decided it's time to go back on my water fast as I felt so much better and had more energy. Never did figure out what food was bothering my joints so this will help me try again on that front once I've got things cleared out again. Starting tonight. LOL

I've given up on any Fall decorations and will just zip right into Christmas after Thanksgiving. Need to figure out what exterior lights I want to do this time.

Watching football - just had lunch - and once finished here I'm going to work on my puzzle. Easy day to stay inside with the wind and rain!

Janet - yes - Maegann will have to set boundaries. I am sure the kids think it is a great place to just hang and not take into consideration that it is now her home.

Poor Isaac - - I got angry just reading about it. What is wrong with people. Especially when they are suppose to be teachers. Sounds like a bully to me.

Glad you were able to get your errand down and then able to relax.

I did not have to go to Lowes until 4 so I got my recycling done and then popped into TJ Maxx and got some Christmas shopping done. Popped over to the mall as well and was sad to see how many more stores that have closed.

Also got the day off today - Mike and I were going to go to Buffalo for firewood but we are under high wind warning and it is suppose to rain. So that means I can not get my Christmas lights up outside either. So I will work on cleaning the house and getting it ready for Christmas decorations.

Dorothy~I'm glad the test is done and you are polyp free!

This morning I slept in and then headed to Penney's to pick up some shirts I bought (Tim's Christmas) on their deep non-black Friday sale. I got two flannel shirts and two t-shirts for $30. I was happy with that price. Now to figure out the kids' gifts.

After my errand I swept the tile flooring and that took it all out of me. So frustrating how this Covid drops the energy so quickly. I rested and then headed to the dining table to work on my puzzle. Tonight I'm enjoying the warmth of the fire while we watch Star Trek Voyager.

I did have conversation with the Special Ed teacher today by email as the basketball coach has made a huge mistake. He went directly to the VP and Principal stating that Isaac should not be allowed at open gym or any part of the basketball program at the high school. He never even tried to talk with me even though I've told him many times to reach out to me when he has a concern. The SPED teacher is not happy with him either and he has heard from the VP already to talk on Monday. Isaac has done nothing this year to warrant this decision and I'm going to fight for him. I did cry for a bit out of frustration and sadness, but mostly I squared my shoulders for another battle. Sad that this coach just doesn't have the character to realize all Isaac needs is someone to come alongside him and then see what happens.

Maegann, Michaell and Justin came by for a little bit this afternoon. They were all struggling with the additional friends who just come over and help themselves to food and then don't clean up after themselves. They even broke one of Maegann's cups that she just bought for the apartment and nobody owned up to it. She was not happy with the mess this morning. The boys need to set the boundaries or this won't change. Maegann said "I'll move home if this doesn't change." Wow!

Janet - I think all of our lives are like records - over and over again.

Glad that there place is working out well for them and that you enjoyed the visit.

Sorry about the covid. Hope you all recover well.

I am loving my Subaru.

The prep for my colposcopy was horrid. I was up all night long running to the bathroom. My butt was on fire and I think I was still going to the bathroom a half an hour before I had to go to the hospital. But the procedure went well and no polyps this time so that is good. Feel so much better this morning.

I went to the bank this morning (again) and then went to pick up some items from Michaels (curb side) before coming home and doing some paid work. I enjoyed a Christmas movie while doing personal email and SP. I want to get the puzzle out again, but it's 4:30 and I'm thinking a nap is a good idea. Tomorrow I will not do any paid work so should be able to spend time with the puzzle. I feel like a broken record!

Dorothy~I miss our all-wheel drive van and before that we had a nice All-Trac Toyota. Your Subaru will be great for you in the winter wonderland you live in!

I am not feeling well today so slept this morning until about 10:30 and then did some banking. I'm making it through SP and personal email and then I'll probably go sleep some more. So much for puzzles again today. Covid. Blech! If I could shake the headache I might be able to work on the puzzle though.

Our visit was so fun last night. It's a nice apartment for them and they have their own separate spaces so that will help them not feel right on top of each other all the time. Maegann did get her positive for Covid this week and she was feeling awful today. She came by for Alka Seltzer.I took some sewing supplies so I could mend a hole in her comforter and ended up tacking down a pocket for Justin too. We took a huge bucket of ice cream and you would have thought they'd won the lottery! LOL

Janet - I hope toe trip to the apartment went well. I bet Maegann is loving it.

I was running into that with my van - new tires and I was not sure how much other work needed to be done with it - plus it did not handle as well in the snow as I would have liked. So glad I got my suburau - we may be getting snow next week.

Hope Isaac enjoyed his time with Meg - it does seem that you are able to get through to him so much more these days.

Went for my colonoscope appointment yesterday and I am getting it done tomorrow - wow - that was fun. Clear liquids for me today.,

Dorothy~Hope you got your walk with Dusty.

My first outing today was to get a few groceries (thank goodness for pick-up options) and then I have been going through emails, did a little paid work and now I'm watching a Christmas movie (Holiday Road Trip) while Sparking. Next up is the puzzle...finally. I got items for spaghetti tonight and then we are going over to the kids' apartment to see the place. Won't be staying long, but they do want us to see where they are living.

The truck---Tim says the engine is blown and will cost at least $900 to get a new one as it isn't worth it to part and piece this one out. We'll be saving up for that expense and watching for a replacement truck in case a deal shows up.

Isaac is off with Meg this afternoon for a few hours. He needed it as he's been a miserable thing. He says nothing is bothering him, I highly doubt that, so I talked with him about his negative behaviors that are not going to be tolerated. He's been better today so maybe I got through to him a bit for this round.

We are in the middle of storms and thankfully it is holding off while the kids get moved and while Tim rescues the truck. It broke down big time on the interstate for the boys. Probably a AAA tow and then we get rid of it as it sounds like a major issue.

Maegann's room is soooo empty! I don't like it! emoticon I was informed they are coming for Thanksgiving and for our usual White Christmas movie/decorating tradition.

I got some paid work finished and once I finish here I will go get the puzzle out. Might need a nap though. LOL

Janet - so often the pets get left with the parents. Happened to me.

Do rest and don't feel guilty - you need to get better.

Today is the last day of our beautiful weather and I have to work tonight so I won't get to enjoy it as much as I would like to., Rain tomorrow for us and then back to the 40's and 50's.

Dorothy~Enjoy your nice weather while you can! We have a high of 38 today. Brrrr

No meds for Covid. They say ibuprofen for the aches and pains and that does help. We did take some cold meds for a time too when those symptoms were flaring. Mostly we just wear out so quickly even from desk jobs!

I slept until 9 this morning and woke up to a sinus headache. It's eased up some now thanks to sinus meds. I've been getting paid work done and have a training webinar in about 45 minutes. That's the end of the "have to do" list for the day. I told Maegann I want my hair done this afternoon or evening. Hopefully she will feel well enough to do that for me before she moves tomorrow. Did I tell you that Auggie is staying with us? Was the right decision even though we would have liked those two to stay together.

Janet - if your test was positive do you have to take any meds? Hopefully you start feeling better soon.

The weather has been incredible here - we have today and tomorrow and by Wednesday we will be back to reality - but what a wonderful gift of weather we have had.

Dorothy~Watching the Buffalo/Seattle game and they are enjoying the 70+ heat of the day. Glad you enjoyed time with your daughter yesterday.

I did get my test back yesterday and it was positive. Tim's was too. Slept well last night and enjoyed online worship before taking a 20 minute nap waiting for football to start. I'd like to get my puzzle out but just haven't felt that energetic yet today.

Janet - I hope you start feeling better soon. Have you got your test results back yet?? Do take care.

Buffalo was lovely yesterday - only downfall is my daughter had it mid afternoon so it made my stay a bit shorter as I hate driving in the dark. Even though I left at 5 it was very dark the whole ride home. I love having meals with my family.

I spent way too long at the store for a handful of grocery items this morning. Wore me out. I didn't realize today was one of their Black Friday "Saturday's". Now I'm ready to go take a nap and do some reading. Zero energy left. At least my oxygen level is high!

Enjoy the "new to you" car Dorothy!

I'm still feeling extremely tired, but pushed myself through updating finances and have enjoyed Christmas movies while doing that and Sparking. Next up is probably a nap. Exciting days. LOL

Weather is supposed to turn cold with rain/snow for the next week so Isaac got the last of the leaves that he could raked and bagged up. He and Tim are off to drop them at the cemetery for recycling.

Janet - they will always be your babies. And I still have Michael here so I am not a complete empty nester yet. But it will always be hard and we will always worry. Just be proud that she is ready for this step. You did your part mama - time for baby bird to spread her wings.

I bit the bullet last night and came home with a 2019 subaru - only had 5,000 miles on it. The payments are higher than I wanted but there are lots of unnecessary frills I can cut from my budget and I truly need a reliable car.

Dorothy~It does seem like a revolving door of drama!

I slept a lot this morning and this afternoon I am tired, but made myself do a little work. Tim and I did go get our Covid swabs done so we'll see what comes from that. Maegann's test came back negative and that just does not seem right, but okay. She feels awful today too, but she's been busy packing up her room. I have to admit I am teary-eyed about it and it doesn't help that I am feeling so lousy. How long does it take to get used to it Dorothy?

But I hope that is all works out for the best.

I do hope you are feeling better - take care.

Dorothy~I agree with you on the election results. Looks like no end in sight at this point. Ugh.

I'm feeling a bit dizzy today so am taking it easy and drinking lots of water and taking extra vitamins/minerals. No paid work so I'm just going to head to my puzzle for the afternoon. Only have a video doctor visit with Isaac about 3:45 so pretty simple day.

Moving out update - Michaell is getting cold feet on signing the lease! We'll see what happens....

Dorothy~I'm ready to be rid of our van too. I love Subaru's. Enjoy the nice weather!

Last night I could not stop sneezing and definitely felt like a cold. Today I'm just feeling tired and a little achy, but nothing major. I think Maegann is finally feeling better as she was actually hungry and is up and around doing things as it is her weekend and the moving day countdown has begun. 8 days! Yikes!

I heard from the doctor's office yesterday and my labs showed a potential UTI. I didn't have any symptoms until today. LOL Now I'm waiting for the lab slip to be at the lab to go have a repeat so I can get antibiotics. Gotta love 2020!

The next 10 days are suppose to be in the 50's and the 80's - I can handle that!

So glad that today is the last day of the my 5 day streak at Lowes - and it does not look like it will happen again anytime too soon - so thankful. I am going to be dragging today and tomorrow but should be able to get to bed dearly tomorrow,

Thursday I am hoping to trade my van in and get a subaru - it will be nice to have an all wheel drive vehicle.

Not ready for the snow shovel Dorothy! Glad you got out for a walk beforehand.

Still waiting on Maegann's results and if she tests positive then Tim and I will go get ours. I might actually sign us up for the free one at Walgreens though. We are both feeling "blah" and a little achy, but nothing too serious. I also have a cough, but I was already fighting that from allergies prior. Sure wish Maegann would show signs of getting better and it would help if she would take better care of herself nutritionally.

I've slowly made my way through work and personal emails and now SP. I'm enjoying Christmas movies on PureFlix too.

Janet - hopefully you will all come back negative - so very scary - keep the faith!

Diary is a big one in my family and we are all cheese lovers. I have never done it but my daughters have.

Yesterday I got the dog out for walk and when I got back since it was so nice out I worked outside and got my driveway cleaned up so Michael can now park off the street. Then I mowed. Last night when I left work I had to brush snow off my van. Yep - we got our first storm - getting ready to go out and shovel this morning. I hope Dusty is happy with that.

Kohl~Can you attend the membership class alone since he refuses? I know my mom was a a "solo church parent" but she was a good example to my brother and me of her faith. Sorry he is still being negative on the subject of church. Your Halloween sounds like it was fun!

Dorothy~Have fun at work today. I really don't want it to be dairy, but I know it has been called out as an issue for me in the past. But really? One slice of swiss and a tablespoon on parmesan? LOL

Two messages watched/heard this morning and now I'm watching the Steelers game. It's a tough game for both teams, and already 2-3 injuries on both sides in the first quarter, but I hope my guys can stay undefeated.

Decided to do some SP time before dragging out the puzzle and Isaac is going to make the taco meat for our lunch so I can just enjoy and keep working on breathing and staying hydrated.

Maegann's Scentsy is killing me and with the access to Covid now the last thing I need is weakened lungs! As I've had pneumonia before I have to keep my lungs as strong as possible. I'm keeping the essential oils flowing for myself to assist with the antibacterial, etc. some different ones came up on a list than I expected so giving them a whirl. I think I'll just make a small roll-on blend for ease in application.

Janet - I would not be surprised if it was the dairy - it seems to bother a lot of people. Nice that you went through the whole cleanse so now you can figure out what bothers you and what does not.

i went and bought a bag of candy and only had 3 kids.

Scary that Michael tested positive - do be careful.

I need to work on my emails this morning. Enjoy your documentary,.!

Khol - emoticon emoticon so sorry - it is so hard when your spouse can not support you on something that is so important to you. I just go by myself to so much anymore, Unfortunately both marriages have been that way,

Your candy feast sounds like fun.

Going to work at 3 today so I will work on getting as much of Mikes stuff together as I can so we can move it on Wednesday when they come to get the gun safe.

Our historic neighborhood always does trick or treating the Sunday before Halloween and I've never passed out candy because of that. Do it on the day of or I'm not having any of it. Feel that way about birthdays, too.

Fiona, Gillian, and Isla carved pumpkins last night and we had a mini candy feast...I asked my husband and each of the girls what his or her all time favorite candy was and bought those to share together.

Last night I told my husband that I wanted to go to a church membership class with him this week and he said he doesn't think we will stay so why bother. Involvement in church activities has been an issue of friction for our whole marriage. I guess I should have expected this especially during Covid with him not wanting to wear a mask. Think he would be fine with streaming church for the rest of our lives but lack of fellowship with those in the church is a huge problem for me. Listening to a sermon and worship music is no substitute for church. The people are the church. I feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me. I really love this church and I have to do it his way when he will never be satisfied no matter where we go?

Hello, November! Now to think on more positive things. For what am I thankful?

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Dorothy~Enjoy those trick-or-treaters! We chose not to participate this year as we don't typically get many so with Covid it's doubtful we see even that number. Turns out it's a good thing as Michaell just tested positive so that is probably what Maegann has going on right now. I'm keeping my OnGuard flowing for my protection!

Today I am having completely different food items as something from Thursday caused inflammation and knee stiffness/pain to return. I had the same thing (except dinner) and I noticed it increase. This afternoon my knee is beginning to feel better so once things are settled I will need to try and figure it out. Banana? Parmesan/Swiss Cheese? Chicken? Salad Dressing? The scale went up a little too with the inflammation.

My day is slowly working through personal email and SP and then I'm going to get going on my puzzle. I've been enjoying a documentary show called Cheerleader Generation. It's following a high school in Mississippi where a mom and daughter coach two separate groups. It's more on the confidence and work needed to be the best rather than some that have coaches just yelling at the kids to do better. Not my usual, but I'm enjoying it.

Janet - it is amazing what wears us out as we get older.

I need to pick up a bag of candy on my lunch break today - I have been on the fence about handing out candy - but I get out at 5 and the treaters will be out from 6 - 8 - probably won't have many but I will get some candy anyways.

My day was fairly quiet. Bible study and prayerful planner time, emails to the Special Ed teacher about Isaac's basketball and desire to go off campus for lunch. Those wore me out!

Smart move saying no to new requests - sounds like you have your hands full.

I bet that real food tasted yummy!

Dorothy~I am still saying "no" to all the new requests for my work as I just can't add any more. Sorry you ended up doing errands most of the evening, but at least it is done.

I know you've been through the "baby girl leaving the coop" Dorothy and I know it's going to be difficult for me until it becomes more normal. Going to feel emptier as Auggie is going too so no fur baby for me to love on and cry with. Not ready to replace Ellsworth though.

I actually ate some real food today! Banana for breakfast and then a swiss cheese and pepperoni roll-up for lunch. Ready for my grilled chicken salad!

I got my time entered online for all the budget reviews and then headed to personal email. Next stop is sorting the jigsaw puzzle. I tried last night, but it was so interlocking that I needed more space to get all messed up again.

Time for baby girl to fly the coop. I hope it all works out well for her. Michael has talked about moving out but he is still here.

I ended up running Mike around to do some errands last night - I had lent him my van to get it done but when you don't wake up until noon and then it takes an hour or more to wake up - oh well - at least he got answers and got the stuff done he needed to. Made a short evening of my night off.

Dorothy~I sure hope Maegann will keep up with my cuts once she moves out. (Happening next month probably.)

You are so right about the break needed from budget reports. I have 51 of them each month right now!

My day seems quite disjointed, but its been good. Finished the budget reviews, had a one-hour webinar on social skills and autism, got my labs done, watched the Bible study video (another good one) and have been doing personal email and SP while finishing a movie I started yesterday on PureFlix called "Remember the Goal". Good story.

Tomorrow I will have a little bit of paid work and then bible study in the afternoon. Otherwise, playing it as it goes!

Just taking a break from downloading budget reports. That's pretty much all I've got planned today and am catching up on last night's Dancing with the Stars and then a Hallmark Christmas movie. Tis the season! LOL

Janet - I was very cold yesterday as well - gray skies and rain - it may have been 50 out but sure did not feel it. More of the same today.

Glad to know that Isaacs meds are working well.

They finally got water on Friday - happy dance! the check valve had blown - and it is only like 8 feet above the pump - go figure!

Khol - glad you are ok - stairs are scary enough as we always seem to have our hands full going up and down them but to have one break - yikes!

Unfortunately - most people around here do not seem to take the covid very seriously. Probably because our numbers are so low here we live. Also unfortunately our states numbers are growing and I am afraid they will put us on lockdown again. But the salon I go to is in the stylists home and she only has one person in at a time anyways.

I actually had my hair all chopped off when I was finally able to go to the salon - I decided to let my hair go gray and I figured getting it cut short was the easiest way.

Dorothy — Is every one still spooked to get their hair cut where you live? Only had my hair cut once so far this year due to Covid. Finally went and did it before the funeral. I was the only one in the place on a Saturday afternoon. Now I'm good for a bit since my hair is long.

Janet — How Sunday worked for theatre was the youth with lines visited on site if they were over 12 and all others participated via Zoom audio. I guess it worked okay. Not sure how it will be handled from here on out. But for the director I'm sure it's a scheduling nightmare. The theatre can operate at 15% capacity presently for shows. They had various shows scheduled outside over the summer but not for youth. They have temperature checks before they walk through the door, wear masks for the duration, and do the 6ft social distance thing throughout. Not sure how that will work for blocking the scenes but where there's a will there's a way.

A basement step gave out on me on my way to do laundry.

Banged myself up but I feel mostly okay. My left elbow took most of the force against the wall.

Need to do some grading!

Kohl~How are the handling the Covid regs with the theater group? Most of ours are still not able to be open. Glad you are visiting with the doc before switching meds again. I'm glad we finally found something that seems to be working for Isaac so far.

Dorothy~How are things going with the well?

I've done a little paid work, had a wonderful massage to loosen up my shoulders and back and am finishing up SP time while watching a cute Christmas Movie (Trading Christmas). Next up is heading to the sofa with my fuzzy blanket as I am very cold!

Janet - so sorry about Ellsworth - he has been with you a long time.

Glad you are enjoying your football Sunday.

Customer service really lacks anymore - what happened??

Khol - the girl scheduling at Lowes is fairly new but I do not think she knows how to schedule. My first month was not bad but the one coming up is all over the place.

Glad you enjoyed your sermon, Love different takes on passages.

Good luck with the musical/non musical - sounds a little crazy.

I sure hope they get Fionas meds figured out - she deserves a quality life and if it is not straight she will be all over the place.

You are right - life is alwasy busy - too busy.

I am getting my hair cut tonight and may have to make a run to the cabin.

Dorothy — If Lowes is anything like Taco Bell for scheduling, you take what you get. That drove my daughter crazy...shift changes, no vs too many hours. Not fun!

Janet — Yes, what is Auggie thinking and feeling? Nice that you have each other.

Great sermon today from the book of James, hearers who forget vs doers who act. Pastor said not showing love for God if just hearing. Interesting take on the passage.

Took the girls to the first Tarzan rehearsal. It was a 2-1/2 hour read through with introductions. It's a musical and both of the girls have nonsinging parts...hmmm. Isla is the carnivorous Leopard who hunts to kill and Gillian is arrogant Clayton. All in keeping with the fact that they never played with baby dolls or did any pretending in pink.

Needed to stock up on groceries again. Nice to see fresh produce once again. Going to try to fix a spaghetti squash tomorrow. That will be a new feat. Not sure exactly how to do it but I'll probably do something very basic.

Fiona is doing yet another medicine change this week but first I insist on talking with her doctor tomorrow before making the change. Last month's change didn't go well. It's like she is nonmedicated which is hard for her and anyone she deals with. Only one episode though (on my birthday of all days). Basically it wasn't working or the dose was too low. We may come back to it?

Life is always busy...

Dorothy~I agree with you on the lack of customer service. So frustrating when we already change our day around for those large blocks of time and then they don't communicate a need to change until we call.

Having my typical Sunday afternoon during football season. Watching a very hard fought game with my Steelers right now. 7 minutes left and we need another TD to pull back out in front further again. I want them to remain undefeated so far! I may pull my cross-stitch out once done here or my coloring book. Not sure.

House is unusually quiet today without Ellsworth. Really hadn’t realized the noise level he brought to the house! LOL Auggie has been keeping me company today snoozing all morning on the other end of the sofa with a pillow and blanket. Makes me wonder what he’s thinking about his fur buddy not being around.

Janet - sounds like you got some stuff accomplished. Always feels good.

I did get a load of stuff taken to Mike - it was drizzly out so not a whole lot.

had arranged for Direct tv to be installed for him - they were suppose to be there between 8 - 12 - at 11:30 I called and they said the time was changed to 12:00 to 8:00 - I called at 5:30 - they said the tech would be calling him soon, - I called at 7:30 and they said they had to reschedule for Tuesday. I blew up and told them that this was totally unacceptable customer service. I will be calling on Monday and talk to a supervisor - what a waste of a day for Mike - but at least he does not do much anyways.

Working 8 - 4 today - looking ahead at my schedule I am not impressed at the way they are scheduling me - I may have to have a talk. But then again I am sure they will be scaling back once winter hits.

Kohl~So nice you are getting many walks in with the family.

Dorothy~Enjoy your day at home!

I got laundry going and then swept floors and mopped the kitchen. I then got sucked into a client phone call which morphed me into personal email and SP time. Hadn't planned on it yet. I'm about ready to pull out the puzzle and enjoy "Bones" while I work.

Khol - that is wonderful that you are getting a nice walk in every day - I typically get 2 miles in the morning with the dog - who is impatiently waiting for me right now and another 1 or 2 miles while at work. Glad you were able to get a nice walk in with the family.

Janet - My day will be full - I am looking forward to getting lots done today. And relaxing when I am done.

Got my recycling done last night and I also stopped at a specialty shop - that was fun. Today I must get to the hardware store - I need some door knobs and grass seed.

Janet — Woo Hoo on the 15 pounds!

Dorothy — Hope you get the day off!

Went on a fall walk with Fiona, Gillian, Isla, and my husband. Took the day off from homeschooling. Been finding it hard to keep up with everything I've got my foot in. Have been consistent with walking at least 3.5 miles daily for almost three weeks now. At least I've got that going for me.

My knee is definitely doing a happy dance! The inflammation is down SO much and I can move amazingly well for the first time in way too long!

Spent the morning on Bible study prep and getting some plan dates figured out for upcoming transitions to the adult program (means pro-rating). Now I'm heading to the dining table for puzzle time!

Dorothy~Definitely good that your roof was finished and ready for moisture! We're supposed to get rain and or rain/snow blend this weekend during the arctic blast that is on its way.

I initially planned on 5 days for this water fast, but I woke up to a white film on my tongue that day and upon researching found that it was the clue to when to stop. The film "tells" when the toxins are releasing and when the tongue returns to normal it's done. I have wanted to eat something at times, but it hasn't been horrible just having water/tea only. The scale is down 15 pounds too!

Dorothy~Sounds like a good day all the way around.

Last night Tim decided to go back on the water fast so now Isaac is the only one in the house needing meals this week. He wants to do them himself so I had him give me the grocery needs this afternoon. He'll be eating tacos, burritos, ham & pepperoni sandwiches, potatoes (waffle fries) and scrambled eggs. Proud of him!!

I woke up so tired this morning as I hadn't slept well so let myself sleep on the sofa for a time. Then I got busy with paid work, did two loads of laundry and then enjoyed the football game that started at 3pm our time. It was a good game.

Janet - very smart to work on the Christmas letter monthly,

Somehow just about any activity we do now a days goes hand in hand with food,

I actually slept in yesterday and then got the dog out for a walk, tidied the back yard and finished mowing before I headed into work,

Dorothy~Sounds like a nice, yet full, day Saturday!

I woke up much easier this morning and watched two of three sermons we usually listen to. Now it is SP and football. I have learned that football and food go hand-in-hand. Burgers. Pizza. Tacos. Chicken. Ugh! Before I get my cross-stitch or coloring books out I plan to update the Christmas letter so it stays on track for end of November.

I am sure December will be busy for me - am wondering what January will be like - I wonder if people with just hunker down for the month or if they will be doing lots of projects.

Worked yesterday late afternoon. In the morning I worked on the basement across the street, got some mowing done and met my daughter, her boyfriend and his mother and father for lunch at a brewery - it was delish.

That's a long work stretch! December could be filled too before Christmas.

I'm surviving today and the hunger isn't bugging me today as much as just wanting something with flavor. I am still tired today, but I got the paid work done that I needed to and am almost finished with SP time.

Dorothy~When do you have time off next?

Today was sluggish, but I made it through errands and a client meeting. The "pain" keeps moving around and this afternoon the toxins are affecting my breathing. Drinking extra water today as I don't need anything to irritate the lungs further! I did have a positive this morning though as the scale was down 5!

I did great on day one of my water fast and am noticing the joint aches have lessened. Today I am noticing that I'm feeling tired so I'm just going along with what my body is telling me. I am going to make it to ladies Bible study though and try not to fall asleep. LOL

I gave up on my puzzle last night. I could have finished it easily, but with it falling apart when you needed to move even one piece I was becoming annoyed because 12+ other pieces would lift up and shift around. Never have I seen a puzzle that did not have any interlocking at all. I told Tim to use it as a White Elephant gift this year. Looks great on the outside, but a total mess on the inside. LOL Like how I "finished" the sky?

You are definitely winterizing Dorothy! I should have had a chimney sweep come out this summer, but we don't intend to use the fireplace as much this year. Less stuff to burn and it affects breathing.

Feeling much better overall today, but still have sharp pains off and on. Treating with pressure points in my shoulder that are tied to it along with essential oils and ibuprofen. Decided I would take today off from paid work so I'm enjoying a movie while Sparking. I think I'll work on my puzzle the rest of the afternoon.

Hope your cleanse goes well.

Dorothy~We never did see the rain they forecast for today. Now we have frost advisories for the next several nights.

Yesterday I felt so good and then today happened. I was miserable all night with a sharp pain on my right side when I'd breathe. Didn't get any better all day so I cancelled my client meeting and just made it through the day of paid work and rest slowly. Tonight Tim finally got out his books on pressure points and that did help much of the pain in the shoulder, but the one on the side increased a bit. Seemed like a huge muscle spasm and if I'd been standing it would have dropped me to the ground. After about 30 minutes from the pressure point treatment my digestive tract was beginning to show signs of life so that helped figure out where the inflammation must be happening. I did eat a burrito supreme from Taco Bell for supper and then took some ibuprofen and then got my oils out for digestive tract issues. Pain is much less noticeable now. Whew!

So, tomorrow I am starting my turn of the 3-4 day fast to release toxins (and weight). Figure with all that is going on with my system and having barely touched food for a few days I might as well go for it. Pretty sure I'm going to feel awful off and on this week. The deal I made too was that I would not be responsible for meal preparation this week and Tim was in total agreement.

So now I am running late - not sure if I will get the dog out for walk - it is raining - maybe we will just go for a short one.

That's mainly what I've been fighting too Dorothy. sinus/allergies. Thankfully by mid evening I was feeling just fine so who knows what was going on with me. Hope you get to work in the yard tonight.

I was making great progress with my paid work this afternoon and all of a sudden things quit working. File Explorer is where it began and I thought I'd fixed that, but all of a sudden I couldn't create file folders on it without it crashing. Now I'm having the same type of issues with my gmail account. Can't open attachments or images. I have tried rebooting so many times and decided after an hour I was just done with it. Figured I would do some SP time and then get my puzzle back out.

Janet - hope you are feeling better. I have been feeling blah but mine is allergies and sinus.

Slept like a rock last night though so that is good.

No work for me in the yard last night 0 I ended up working a couple of more hours so I ran the sweeper and finished the laundry when I got home. Tonight, weather permitting I will work in the yard.

Have fun in the yard today Dorothy!

Started feeling awful during the sermon, and I didn't sleep soundly all night, so I'm glad to be home and able to just do nothing. Wonder if I caught the bug Tim had a couple weeks ago. Is what it is!

Football is good. Two very tough games on with my teams right now. I have Raiders on the TV and the Steelers on my phone. We'll see if I feel up to pulling the puzzle out today or not. Might just pull the Christmas letter up on my laptop and work on that, but we'll see.

Janet - I have to work this morning and then I hope to get some yard work done - we shall see if this shall pass. I took Mike to a couple of stores yesterday after I got home - that sure wears me out.

Enjoy your day of worship and football.

Dorothy~Good plan to be ahead of things at home before heading out to work.

I had a very quiet day. Slept in. Rain made it easy to rest and do some reading. Tomorrow is worship and football.
