Still trying every day to walk as close to 5 miles as I can. Got a route picked out for me and a track near by,. Just have to get myself up and going tomorrow and every day after.
Why am I so motivated in the middle of the night. I think I need to get out of the house more and walk.

With both kids out of the house (college/working), I am going to make one of the bedrooms a guest room/place to walk with Leslie! I think it is going to help me to not miss exercise time if I walk with Leslie before I go to work (before I am fully awake).

Walking helps me so much with mood management as well as losing weight-- it is really worth making it a habit.

Not a very good summer for my family. I am trying to get on track again though. I am not giving up this fight! It has taken me too long and I don't want to start over again.
I hope fall comes soon, I need cooler temps to walk outside. Good thing for the Leslie Sansone walking DVDS! emoticon

This summer has been difficult but I have seen some benefits. My youngest found a job in another state and my DH has spent most of the summer traveling. I am left home taking care of my MIL. With the weather being so hot and humid, I have spent quite a bit of time working out with Leslie. To that end, I have lost three pounds. I will be glad to see cooler days so I can get out more.

Happy - emoticon summer is much less "routine" than other times of the year.

Nola - I'm with you! Summer is my least favorite. Fall however IS my favorite season although Christmas is my favorite holiday!

Today we are supposed to get a great deal of rain. Evidently a storm is heading our way. I love the rain, it not only cools the temps down a bit, my horse gets a nice cool shower. I will be doing inside exercising today! Working towards my goal! :D

Summertime is the least active time for participation. I guess because of holidays and people just in general spend more time outside than in. For me for instance I am up at the cottage with the grandchildren - have been since July 1st and won't go home until Labour Day. While I try to touch base with all my teams as often as I can I too am less active. Overall participation will pick come the Fall.

For me it is a rough summer too! I originally lost 37 pounds. I have now gained 6 pounds back! Dang it! I have been trying to maintain since before December 2014. But I'm not maintaining, I am gaining. I need to revamp my program. Even though I am working out EVERY danged day, I am not losing like I would like. Time to step up to the plate! :D

THIS HAS BEEN A ROUGH SUMMER. I GAIN 10 LBS. NOW I AM TRYING TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS. WALKED TODAYS 2 MILES. I WOULD LIKE TO LOSE 10 LBS BY MY BD NEXT MONTH.

I am down sixty pounds over the past three to four years. I want to lose fifty pounds by my birthday. It is about five pounds a month for the next ten months.

I hope everyone is out enjoying summer but, I would like to see more activity on here and more encouragement to help people go down this weight loss path. I went up a pound and did not get it off. Have been doing a walking video every day and tracking my food. I hope soon this old body will give up and throw off a few more pounds. I have been on Sparks people for 32 days and have lost 11 pounds so am happy with that! Here's to a new day,a new week and a new year of being healthier. Come join me and let's do this together!
