Which doc Maine?

Feeling very "mushy" today. I don't want to do anything, and I am feeling down. There is no reason behind it...and that's the worst part because I don't know how to fix it. I am just hanging in and doing my best. I am proud that I haven't eaten over it, and it is going on 24 hours. That is rare for me.

Going to make sure I get a walk in and some gardening. I am hoping both will get my endorphins going and cheer me up.

I hope you all have a better day than me :)

I'm not a mom but I can imagine that is still stressful, even with the Ped's OK.
Did you hear back from the doc yet?

Thanks Maine. He says not to worry, he is growing, he will eat when he's hungry etc... I guess its just hard cause I want him to be as healthy as he can possibly be.

Today was an ok day. I saw a family member that I don't really get along with in Connor's gym class. There is a long history between us and it isn't good. We "pretend" to get along for family sake. Nothing happened, but just dealing with her for that hour was enough to set me off. But one good thing, I am NOT eating over it, and I will NOT eat over it. I refuse to let someone like her ruin MY goals.

My BF came over today and it was kind of a weird vibe. I had just woken up from a nap, hadn't had lunch, Connor was in a mood, and it just wasn't a fun visit. I am hoping he signs on tonight so I can talk to him. Nothing bad happened, but it just wasn't "right".

But anyway, before I give you my life story, I am going to get going. I hope you all had a great day, and have a happy, healthy evening.

~Michelle

Does his pediatrition have any input? I bet it's just a phase? Maybe you can sneak him some pedia-lite drink for extra nutrients?

Sorry you are having a bit of a tough week! :-( Gardening is always relaxing though so hopefully that helped!

Thank you MaineRocks!

I am really tired tonight. I worked out in the garden for about an hour this afternoon which is always satisfying.

I had a meltdown this evening. I am very worried about my son's eating habits. He hardly eats, and when he does eat all he wants is bread. I am so worried about him getting all the nutrients he needs. He is so picky and just doesn't want to be bothered with eating. Sigh...

My cousin is coming over tonight for the Idol final. I hope you all have a good night.

Hi everyone. Most of today was spent in front of the air conditioner, it was 103 outside. It's 9pm now and finally in the 70's. If I want to do anything outside it has to be before 9 am. Tomarrow is suppose to be a copy of today.

I've had many mammograms and only one showed anything unusual. Don't be to worried, if there is anything wrong it is always better to get it caught early. Have a good sleep tonight and a great tomarrow.

I'm sure everything will be ok, especially if it was just for a baseline. Think positive thoughts!

I'm spending most of my time in the garden lately. I love this time of year when I get to watch the flowers bloom! There's something new blooming almost every day now!

Hey everyone -

Hope you are all having a good day. I just went for my first mammogram, it was just a baseline, but I am still nervous. All I can think about it the results, and I have to wait like 3 days to know anything. (with the weekend it becomes 5) so I am just trying to get some nervous energy out.

Foot doctor this afternoon...

I am in a very cranky mood today :( Not 100% sure why. Had a rough night with my 2 yo, and the house is in chaos after a crazy weekend, but it shouldn't be this bad.

I am trying to work my way out of it, and staying on plan. Its the one thing I feel like I am in control of right now.

I have been working with the large number of maples growing in containers. More seeds are fallinjg of the large tree. So now I'll have to start replanting the container tress. The 55 gallon plastic drum works great for catching the rain water. So I am going to try and get another one.

Rooftop gardens are so cool! I love being in a city and then seeing a burst of nature on top of a building. Such an interesting contrast.

There's a big article in National Geographic this month about rooftop gardens! (It's the same issue that has the baby mammoth on the cover.)

The photos are incredible.

Hi! I just finished my third year in University (last exam was on wednesday!!) in Sociology and have taken 2 Environmental courses so far. I LOVE them and I get really great marks. It's so important to me for everyone to do what they can. If there's one thing I've learned from those courses, it's that you can't rely on Governments and large industries to make a difference - it starts with the individual. To read about what others are doing to reduce their impact makes me really happy :)

Hi, I've been recycling since the 60's. My oldest girls had two teachers that were teaching their classes about recycling and being green. My girls use to be really good about recycling and then as they got kids they got lazy. I'm always on their case. It's been interesting reading all the blogs. I'll be checking in again. I'd like to get to know everyone. I like to watch the green channel on the TV.

I am so jealous of the bald eagle sightings! How wonderful! I've only seen an eagle flying once. It was rather impressive!

We had rain last night! Everything looks so fresh outside, and green. DH has been doing most of the vegetable planting, including peppers that he set out yesterday. We're off to a slow start because the weather has been so up and down. emoticon

I recently had a bald eagle sighting, too, Betsybeach. I was at Shiloh National Battlefield in Tennessee for work, and the staff took me to see a family of bald eagles that was nesting in the park. A male and female and two babies. It was awesome!

I have been weeding the last few days. It feels great to be outside and finally have the sun warmer.

Suppose to be a warm weekend and especially monday! I hope my shorts fit!

I am hoping to stop the yo yo thing this year. Last year I had lost 15 lbs before summer then gained it all back and then some Oct-Dec. I joined a different blog and lost 10 lbs Jan & Feb then gained 7 back before I started here.

I really really have to stop this cycle! I love Spark People because it has the best weight tools along with lots of teams you can join. Some for weight but I appreciate the hobby ones to so you can talk to people who have things in common with you.

The environment is one of the things I care the most about so if anyone from here would like to be my buddy to help me stay on track this time, I would really appreciate it! Email me. Thanks!

lissa - I have noticed something. But I wouldn't say a downturn. My cousin is very (spiritual, for lack of a better word) and says that something is happening in our atmosphere to cause changes and recklessness in people and their behavior. Like crossing the street in front of cars, crazy driving, dropping things alot lately. Not so much a downturn of society, but a temporary change. Have faith and we'll all turn around!

I notice that the other tenants in my building have forgotten how to recycle. Our trash cans get full so fast and me and another guy go through to pull out all the bottles and cans knocking the trash down by 3/4. Come summer when they're out on the balconies, I'll put a sign on the trash cans saying if you don't want to smell this, recycle.

Going down a few posts about people's property. I knwo exactly what you mean. It seems that as the economy spirals downward, so do people's manners. I have noticed people latley not having a common repect for each other or each other's property. Cars driving recklessly, people crossing streets when they arent supposed to, etc. Also, the scrap men are still on the loose. My dad recycles everything and every Sunday the old beat up trucks come on the street to terroize him. They try to steal all his scrap. It's really getting out of hand. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed a downturn?
