I definitely feel better mentally after I exercise & that good feeling sticks around for a long time after, too. Our ability to withstand pain is mental as much as it is physical.

Thanks for sharing this. My psychiatrist states that often anxiety is a component of depression - so it makes sense that if exercise decreases depression it would decrease anxiety. Notice that I stated "often" not always! And I am assuming that he is talking about clients who already have been diagnosed with depression. As always take what you like and leave the rest!

I can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens me.

Someone on another team posted this link with an article regarding exercise and anxiety pertaining to those with chronic diseases. Thought others might find this article interesting too. I know that for myself I am less anxious and better able to keep control when I do exercise regularly.
