Mmmm... a few things. A dehydrator as Writeitout mentioned so I can dry fruits without adding a bunch of sugar & preservatives to what's already sweet & tasty!

Or one of those table-top rotisserie ovens - have always wanted one. But there's nowhere to store it & I imagine I'd cook with it a few times & it would just take up space. Still I've had a chicken & kababs out of one & they were so good!

And my DREAM appliance would be a WOLF or Viking stove. A true chef's cooker...with a plate warmer! emoticon

Stay calm and carry on.

Dehydrators are really neat to have! They are not too expensive. We use them before going trips, well we used to. It has been a while. My husband likes to make jerky. I had one for fruit.

I've pondered getting an indoor grill. I like the idea but first of all I have no more storage space for it and second of all, I'm not convinced it's what we need/want.

A new dishwasher. A new stove. A new microwave.

I haven't bought any of these things because they aren't broke enough. They still function (mostly) and I hate to waste money. 2 of the three are larger purchases and built in's that will take some $$ & effort to replace.

A hibachi grill table, I would love one. Had one in a house I rented for a vacation in Michigan, and have wanted one since.

Price does not bug me, but I have no room, unless I made it the dinning room table.

Now I have taken control...

Little oven. We heat up the oven for something small and I hate the waste. Maybe next month? emoticon

Hmmm.. I think we have had just about any appliance made for the kitchen. I don't always keep them. My husband loves the newest of appliances while I like to stick to the "old fashion ways". I am thinking of a juicer again (I say again because I gave away the last one) but they can be so pricey. emoticon

The oven in my stove died in March. The stove is 7 years old, and the last of my appliances that I purchased at a store to remain nameless to die within that time frame. All of our appliances were purchased new when we built our house.

I have thought about purchasing a new stove (dual oven with convection) out of frustration and anger for everysingleappliance in my house dying *well* before their time. At this point I will not ever buy one of those brands again. period. But alas-it is very wasteful to just dump it without an attempt to get it fixed (not using that store's repair service either!)...so that is the answer to your question.

Other than that definately a vitamix, but way too $$$. DH can be my jar opener....

A jar opener, not really sure why I haven't bought it yet. It's one of those things that when you see it in a store you know you want it, but don't have the money at that moment, then when you have the money it is not on your mind to go get it.

What is one kitchen appliance that you've often thought about buying but haven't and why haven't you?
