I am here. Stocked my fridge with vegies and fruits hoping to add more raw foods. I am so bad about being consistent and always accepting my own excuses. OH WELL...maybe if I make it a habit to check in w/ Spark daily, it will be helpful.

Kind of disappointed in myself. I decided to sneak a peek at my weight today knowing I'm supposed to hold off until tomorrow. And the numbers are really up there from the 1st. I'm up 4 lbs. So I'm not a happy camper, especially when I felt I was doing really well with my eating all week. Tomorrow is the "official" weigh in so we'll see what it shows then. I won't change my ticker until tomorrow.

I did something today I wouldn't normally do. I bought a bag of mini pretzels. I'm trying to watch the sodium but every once in awhile I want a crunchy snack that isn't a veggie. So I got the lesser of two evils ( pretzels vs doritos).

I've been eating a bowl of cereal at night as a snack thinking at least I was getting daily fiber but it's making the numbers on the scale go in the wrong direction. So no more cereal at night. Bob mentioned this morning I could still have my cereal, only have it for breakfast instead and have something small, like a yogurt for my evening snack. So I'll give that a try and see if it works better for me. I'm staying within my calorie limits with the cereal. I just think because I was eating it in the evenings, I wasn't burning it off fast enough so my morning weigh in reflects it.

Hi Everyone. Just got my new glasses. Going to take getting used to. Before I had progressive lenses. This time it's with the bifocal and trifocal lines. And I'm used to a large frame but this pair is very small as I'm no longer able to wear the larger size due to brittle bone disease. I need as lightweight a pair as possible. I'm not really thrilled with how I look in these glasses but over time I guess I'll get used to it. Right now they just kind of make me sad feeling.

I have back pain especially if I am on concrete. Went shopping with Hubby Friday and walked a lot on concrete and it was really bothering me last night.

Today was laundry day in the Bishop household. But it's all done for another week. Just finished an early supper of New England clam chowder. A local restaurant only makes it on Fridays and we love it so once a month we get two take out bowls of it. Yum ! emoticon

Back before I gained all this weight, I rarely had problems with my lower back and hips. I'm down 23 lbs right now but it looks like I need to lose a good bit more before I start feeling any real relief.

I know. I had some times low back pain and is really hard to walk with it. I hope you feel better soon. With the 25 pounds that I lost my back is a lot better. And my knees too. emoticon emoticon

It's hard for me to walk that much. I have RA of the spine and it causes inflammation flare ups, and when that happens I can't do much of anything until it eases back up. It wasn't as bad this time though so maybe getting the 26 lbs off has helped in that respect. It's still painful but I'm walking around more today than I normally would after a full day of shopping.

Hi VICKI. I love to go to the store just to walk and see what is new and if something really call my attention and is a good deal I buy it. And I add steps to my pedometer. Have a great evening. emoticon

I'm pretty tired right now. It's our big mid month shopping day and I just spent over 4 hours walking all over 5 different stores. I'm pooped.
