Most of us have those days. We just have to get a grip and get back on the program after they happen. Usually it just causes a short blip in the weight loss.

I am glad you didn't have a big negative happen to you because of a slight slip up.

From your page I can tell you are strong and you really can do anything you want. Am I wrong?

Whenever I overeat even though I want to stop at the time, I have to think of why I did it? It may not always be so obvious and you may think it was just that you were bored. That MAY be true but I am willing to bet there is more to it. If you can search deep inside and figure out what is causing the urges to overeat, really try to work it out or share the struggle. See if others may face that same issue. Seeing that you are not alone may just be empowering enough to stop you the next time you can't stop feeding that void.

Really what I am trying to say is that you are motivated and know that you really don't want to be derailing your new healthy lifestyle. Try to figure out whats bugging you and do what you need so that food is not the copping mechanism.

I may be entirely wrong and please let me know. I just know these are struggles I have had and really getting down to the root of things has helped me greatly along my road to recovery :)

It is so great you reached out for help, I am proud of you. (Regardless of how well I know you)

One more thing you may want to consider...have you been getting enough sleep? Our bodies can often mistake hunger for sleep for hunger for food.

Good job tracking everything, drinking your water and exercising.

Now, make a plan for tomorrow. Plan out your food and exercise. Try to stay on the low end of your calorie range for two days to offset some of the damage.

You know you could be more hungry from working out too. Your body is burning more cals and you do need to eat to keep the burn going. This happens to me too once in a while. It happens when I do a new exercise. Using different muscles. I never feel bad I'm happy because if I'm eating more it means my body is burning it faster and I really need the extra food as long its not cookies and junk.
Just my food for thought.

i agree, sometimes life gets a little out of hand or overwhelming. I would record everything that you did today, and just know that tomorrow is a new day! Good luck :)

Hey Mrs Smizzle - LIFE just happens sometimes but we can't give up!!! We're all with you sweetie - keep working hard - eye on the goal!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW! What a ride!

I understand about wanting to eat everything I have had a health setback that means I can't work out for a while. The only way I can control the outcome is through carefully planning and tracking my food. Before my surgery all I wanted to do was eat it was a self-defeating way of controlling things. Now I know that I have to be conscious about my food. We can do it together one day one meal at a time.

Remember to drink lots of water, especially after having a day like you describe. I find the water really helps get me back to feeling like myself.

First step, put the fork down and record everything you ate. Leave nothing out. You need to see just what you did today. Cheating only cheats you, no one else.

Next, get a bottle of water. You might have trouble stopping eating right now. I have had binge days. My body gets confused between hunger, and being stuffed. I end up eating more and more. I rationalize eating more.

tomorrow is a new day. make good food choices. Get in some exercise. Put today behind you. You can not change what has been done. You can only move forward.

You can not change yesterday - it's done.

The only day you can change is today.
What are you going to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it GREAT

I have been eating NON STOP today. I dont know what got into me, AHHHH! I need some help, even though I feel like I am always asking for help! I know I have to pick myself back up, but am feeling unworthy right now, blah.
