My goal is to bring some peace to my life. I need to tackle some issues and let go of some others. Adjusting to retiremet has not been easy. It can only improve one day at a time, any further planning just brings disappointment.

I don't know what I'm doing on the computer! I'll never get everything done I need to do !! I promised my step daughter I'd do window treatments for their new house. Then I bought a rental property, and I have been cleaning, repairing, and painting every surface. Not done with the basement yet. Yuck, but it will be nice all cleaned up. Then it will need windows replaced, and window treatments. My renter wants to move in the end of May. BUT, the weather has only been nice for 2 days so far, so I am torn between working in my own yard, or doing all this other stuff. It's hard to set priorities, but I can sew and paint if it rains again, or gets cold. So I'm heading out to put out some more mulch. Have a good day!

If it is to be, it's up to ME!!!!!!

Didn't do as well as I wanted to in April. Going to re-focus on tracking my food and trying to cut down on the fat in my diet. Also, want to set up a sewing room in the spare bedroom. Right now, everything is just piled up in there. Want to get some shelving and get everything organized this month. I know I am going to find material that I forgot I had emoticon

Ok, I am still playing catch up. I was doing so well with my bike riding and diet, then the second blackberry winter hit with cold, rain, hail, and generally icky weather. May isn't starting off well, but I am determined to maintain my weight loss. I set a goal of 2 pounds per month, and I am down 9 so far this year, so that part is going well. DD#2 is coming home from college and will live with us while she does her internship. I have 7 weeks to clean closets and make room for her things.

Now for May. I really, really, really gotta get back on the bike and get the closets cleaned.

One Day at a Time:
1) walk/ride 30 minutes
2) organize something in my home
3) fruit or veggie with each meal
4) sew 1 bobbin full
5) make someone smile
