Easter is going to be different this year, that's for sure! I'm just hoping to hold my grandson by then.

Let's have a healthy April!

Love it!!! I bet there will be a lot more color once everyone starts coming out of hiding. A touch of spring for your hair!

Jules - you get your wish. Looked at a calendar and I guess with everything going on I didn't realize how close we were to Easter. Egg hunt starts on the 1st!

Family decided that by the time we can get together for Easter dinner, it will be more of a Welcome to Summer party. Might have to change my table decor.....hmmm.

Love the hair Kim! This was my first time doing it, and it dyed more than I thought... should've done just 1 streak to start! Oh well, it's fun anyway! I'll post a pick later.

emoticon luv it (hair, purple & all!!! ;) emoticon

I always say, 1 day I will do that!

so, I just reached the 200s again after years - I take pics every 10 lbs... I will soon reach 50 lbs and last time I reached 60 lbs, so after that will resume pics.

emoticon at some point I want to have a shopping clothes spree - like maybe when I hit 1x or XL - I readlly don't know what weight that would be...

emoticon and sometime, I'd like to do updated portraits - our last one was pre-wedding, that was about 225 lbs... so not sure when, maybe if I ever get back to 199 - have only managed that once since we were married and that lasted about a nano-2nd... I really have a hard time imagining what life/phsyical abilities will be this time around...

emoticon I so hope I will be able to walk better soon - it is still dang hard right now - if I walk too much at any time, then my dang knee screams... so it's hard to know how it will be - but I am daydreaming better!

emoticon Laura - I am always excited to see the new boards each month emoticon
~ you always do such a creative touch - it keeps it interesting... I even love repeats! especially the annuals - like the egg hunt!

Good Morning!

Day 2 of the schooling. Kid is already trying to get out of doing things. Mainly practicing instruments and PE! Told him he has to practice 15 minutes each day on 1 instrument (he has 2) and 30 minutes of activity for PE. All school work is to be done by noon. The chore for the afternoon is the biggest fight. They did get some of the yard raked yesterday so it's a start. Big kid is just as bad as the little kid on the chore thing!

Laura- excited for April boards. I'm sure everything will be great!

Brenda- fun on the teal highlights. I should do something like that. My kids would for sure make fun of me!

Well I better get some work done too! Have a great day everyone!

emoticon yes, and I want to Snack! I was doing pretty well for awhile but think the stress of all this has triggered urges2snack... pfffttt… focusing on non-food 'other' things today...

I am peeling labels off old prescription bottles - like the 20+ I stashed in a bucket to do later and a box of shredding - also stuffed to do for later... I am gonna be so organized when we get the all clear to get out & about! I figure shredding releases aggression and is better than gnashing teeth! LOL ;)

emoticon my all time fav mother's day was a picnic outdoors with eggs benedict and asparagus tips with cheese sauce, mimosa's, and lots of fun, kidlet's making raucus noises and the ladies yammering at the tables, the guys serving... it was down right fun... so, maybe we'll be free to do that, if not, putting it on the calendar for 2021!!! Hey everyone!

I enjoyed the zoom chatting on Friday. Dee & Stephanie, for sure you should join. It was great! Kim, if you were on your computer there is a gallery icon that you can click on and it shows everyone in blocks, kind of like the brady bunch! I was on my phone and could see 4 at a time and had to keep changing pages. Hopefully I can get my computer to cooperate next time! It really helped to talk to some ladies!

I feel for you guys not being able to hold and play with your grandkids. This too shall pass. It just needs to hurry up.

I was reading up on the keto yesterday and am going to try and get started on it. We haven't had bread for awhile so that shouldn't be too hard to give up. The sweets, another story but I need to! Been terrible about grabbing this or that. Time to stop and get back on a healthy track. Did start the exercise back up today too. Hopefully we can have some kind of exercise challenge in April as well. Even if it's just to do this exercise or that as an add on.

Jack started the distance learning today. He's pretty self sufficient but he still needs to be told to do it. I said he could do school stuff in the morning and then in the afternoon he had to do a chore for me and then he can do his own stuff. He of course, is arguing with me about the chore! UGH. Why can't they just do what I ask????

Anyway, hope you are all hanging in and keeping on track. Let's LOSE some weight in April! We don't have anything better to do anyway! lol!

Have a great day!

Dee, join us next time. We aren’t strangers we have been chatting for years. And we truly did miss you. Although hubby did tell me I should have been able to see everyone at the same time. I was only able to see the people who were talking. So I shall fix that next time. So you aren't the only one technically challenged. The link that was posted here though took you right into the meeting it was really cool.

Stephanie, you need to join in with us next time as well. We had a great evening gabbing.

Jill, I can and do facetime with them. But Leo is goofy he won’t talk to me at all that way other then to tell me he misses me. He will talk to me over the phone and ditto. When you coming to get me. Breaks my heart everytimje. Lukie will talk to me for a couple of minutes but then he is off to play on his tablet.

Jules, I may have to hid papaw from them next time we facetime. I am sure they will love that. Great idea! Thanks. I am thinking if we can’t be together for Easter, I am going to go over and hid eggs for them anyway they love doing Easter Egg hunts. At least we can be included that way.

Brenda, I wish we could be window grandparents but I know Leo he would loose it and open the door to get to me. Luke understands sort of as much as a 5 year old can but Leo just doesn’t get it. He is as bad as me. He wants a huggie. It just breaks my heart! And honestly I don’t think I can last till April 30th I shall loose my mind.

I have to work today for a few hours. Then off again tomorrow. This is going to be the never ending tax season. LOL Have a great day laides.

Hello Friends! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Today we relaxed and ordered some regular and Easter stuff from Target. We did the drive up so we didn't need to go into the store. We bought a couple of treats for Kevin & Ashley, Mom and Belinda, so we drove around to drop the items off and visit a bit (at a distance). Fun day!

Kim - So sorry you can't see your boys right now... it's tough for us too. Can you be "window Ra-Ra & Gpa" with them? At least you can talk in person. I loved Jules' suggestion on a virtual hide 'n seek for Grandpa...it would be fun! Hang in there... we're trying to as well!

Dee - You silly girl...you shouldn't be shy around us! I'm shy too, but feel like I know you all. Come join us for some fun!

Jill - Very brave going out! Just practice social distancing and wash your hands!

Jules - Love the egg joke... LOL. You always make me smile! You're right...Easter is going to be weird. I don't know if we'll be with my kids because of Ashley's mom having health issues and is freaked out right now (she lives with them). We'll see. Maybe we can visit with them for awhile in their yard, then eat with Mom and Sis. Maybe an outdoor picnic! I'm going to have to think on it too.

emoticon @ Dee & spread!

emoticon however that video chat was set up worked for me, I didn't have to start an account... when I clicked on the link, my computer scanned it, then I chose to "run" (instead of download/save/install) and it took me into a meeting... it worked clean as a whistle, and I really enjoyed talking with y'all! I wish my name could have been in pink... Because I signed in from the link posted on SparkPeople, it used my SP name... so that was just cool... Hubby also noticed the laughter... it was just fun!

emoticon emoticon emoticon Kim! I bet you miss those stinky boys! Any chance you could do a video seek and find gramps? (or treasure hunt clues to find for next place, leading to him, hiding say in a chair in a different room, closet, whatever?

emoticon this is just so different - 1st Easter we might miss - and it makes me sad alright - so... thinking we'll have to get creative with traditions... I mentioned that 'paint the rocks instead of eggs idea to my brother - they're going to do that too, since we can't seem to get eggs or much else right now... I am so glad we have technology for the assist... I remember when LD telephone calls were so expensive, we just didn't and we wrote letters/postcards... Gramsies both had ribbon tied bundles they kept in their memory keepsakes... I can't remember the last time I sent a handwritten card... maybe we'll do that for Easter... it is hard - we have couple dozen nieces/nephews, 5 bros/sisters on my side and more on hubby's side... and not sure we'll be having an inperson egg hunt... maybe we'll have to set up a progressive virtual hunt... hmmmm… might be doable, will have to yammer with everyone about how to do that... we used to do Progressive dinners - always so fun... hmmm... well just a thought...

emoticon my camo egg would be pink! lol ;)

Kim emoticon So sorry this is so hard. Mine are older so we FaceTime or zoom often. I pray that this ends soon for all of us.

Brenda happy you got a window visit and hoping you can meet the new baby soon.

Dee no need to be shy with us. It was a nice visit for all of us and you were definitely missed and mentioned couple of times.

Stephanie sorry about the stress. Hope things ease up for your husband soon.

Went to the store to get my cholesterol Rx today. Dean said he would go but I have been having anxiety about leaving the house and knew if I didn’t make myself get out it would be easier to just continue to stay home. He did go with me. Safeway had few shoppers and was eerily quiet. Shelves continue to be empty and lot of things are being rationed. Never thought I would see this but also made me think about how much we have taken for granted. We were so blessed to live in a country where so much “goods” was available to us at all times.

Tracy are you ok out there

Sorry I missed the Zoom chat, especially if there was laughter. I'm shy and also not very good with technology.

emoticon everyone is missing their grandchildren, family, and friends. We're doing what's best to avoid the spread. Hay, that could apply to weight loss too... doing what we can to avoid the spread.

emoticon Jules, I don't know where you find all the jokes that you post, but laughter really is good medicine. Also, the grateful lists really put things in perspective. Appreciate all the kind thoughts.

Brenda, glad you got to see your baby! And to see him smile in person. That is awesome. So glad it was nice out so that you were able too. Great way to end the day with a new baby. Congrats to your niece. He is tiny. Hopefully this mess will be over soon and you will get to go and meet your new great nephew soon.

Doug and I went and grabbed lunch at firehouse sub and went to the park and ate it. Then went grocery shopping where everyone was keeping their distance from one another. Then went and dropped stuff off at the door for the kids then texted to tell them it was there. And then I cried. I miss those stinky boys so much. It's just not the same. Not being able to hug, get beat on, snotted on. I am so very sad I can't hold them and watch a movie with them. Play games with them. Hide n seek is their fav game with papaw. It just breaks my heart. And knowing that I am Leo's person hurts even more. I don't want to loose the bond we have if this last even longer. Lukie understands sort of but Leo is too little to get it. Okay if I don't shut up I am going to cry again.

It's suppose to rain here again today OF COURSE so I think its going to be a cleaning day .

Have a great day ladies.

Thank you for the fun chitty-chat last night! I loved talking to everyone in person!
emoticon

Well today "Window Grandma & Grandpa" visited Brody and parents for a couple of hours! Loved seeing him in person and talking to him and our kids....it makes me smile!

We also visited my mom and my sis met us there. We met her in the backyard and sat 6 feet apart on her patio. We had Door Dash deliver meals and enjoyed chatting.

When we got home, we found out our niece was in labor and had her baby boy tonight. Julian was 6lb 7oz and 19" long...a teeny little guy (1 lb and 1" less than Brody and I think he's small). We're so excited to meet him sometime soon (we hope)!

A very eventful day! Hope all of you have a blessed and happy Sunday!

Good morning, friends. Sorry to be MIA. With everything going on, plus Shawn's "essential" job driving us both crazy, I just haven't felt like being online very much. He's a telephone and internet repairman, and it's been very chaotic at work, so he stays irritated and moody 90% of the time nowadays. I'll try to check in later and catch up on the posts.

Thanks so much for chat time. Loved it and love have a real person associated with names. Going to do the zoom meeting with all my family today.

Kim think I am definitely eating out of boredom. I was doing so well eating when hungry and not by the clock and this last week not so much. Need to get back in focus.

Supposed to get up to 50 today. Windy though but I will get out for a walk.

Have a great visit Brenda.

Here’s to a great weekend for all of us

Ladies, thanks so much for chatting with me last night! Hubby asked me in the middle of the night if I had a good time and I said well yes. And he says well, I heard you in there laughing you must have. So thanks for the laughs They were much needed.

Jill, I meant to ask how the grandkids were doing with the “home” schooling? I don’t think I have the patience to do that I am not a teacher. Lol Maybe take a few minutes when you decide you want something to eat and really think about it. Are you eating it because your hungry or is your stomach just bored? 9 times out of 10 I am bored. I am learning to eat when I am hungry not because the clock tells me it’s time.

Jules, I need to get my nails done what a beautiful color. LOL And great idea last night about painting rocks. I am going to tell Missy about that, they have thousands literally they just had their house landscaped and they used rocks. The boys will love that idea.

Brenda, look at that baby. I am in love with that outfit so stinking cute. Those little bunny feet. When the boys were little I kept them in jammies. Well who am I kidding, I am still buying jammies. Mr. Brody is adorable. I hope you get to at least see him through the window today. These are really crappy times for seeing our boys aren’t they?

Laura, I can’t wait to hear more about your Keto diet it sounds really interesting and the best part is they are paying for it for you. That is fabulous! It sounds as though your company really cares about you. Which means a lot!

Dee, where are you hiding. We missed you in the chat last night!

I think I am going to clean my kitchen today and send hubby to the grocery store. Well maybe not maybe I will go. I know what I want its hit or miss if he goes. LOL Have a great day ladies.

Jules you always make me feel so much better with your positive posts. Love it

Brenda he is so adorable - love the bunny jammies. This has got to be so hard for you to not be able to snuggle with him. We all understand it is for the best but still not easy.

I was planning a trip to Texas to see my Savannah who is now 9 months old but that is on pause for now.

See you all at zoom.

Happy Friday!!
emoticon
Love the postings! It gets me through my day to chat with my friends even if it's online!

Jules - my nails look just like that!
emoticon
I already danced and got my exercise in for the day and am at 5000 steps, so I'm feeling energetic. Doing it early instead of later makes me perked up instead of tired (I used to do it in the evening). So maybe this will be the new routine!

We're going to visit the kids at the window this weekend so I can see Brody in person. I have a couple of pics of him from yesterday.

Morning nap!

After his poopy bath! LOL

Today I already put laundry away and hung everything up in my closet, picked some things up in our guestroom, and next I'm going to do some cleaning in our bathroom! Friday Fun Day never stops!
emoticon

Tonight we'll watch a movie and have popcorn. Still can't hang out with mom and sis at home, but we're thinking of bringing some food to Mom's house and sitting in her courtyard 6 feet apart for a visit. That should do it! My mom & sis are both widows, so I know it's hard for them to not physically see anyone. My sis has been staying away from her pregnant daughter & hubby so I know this is a hard time for her....Cyndi just found out she's having a girl and is due in the beginning of August. Normally, she would be over there helping her pick out things for a nursery, etc. My mom is 85 and really at this point in time just likes to socialize (well, she always has)! However, not running around with her has given me lots of time to get things done that I've been slacking off on!

Today's Thought: Be thankful if you have someone sharing your home so there's some human contact! It's very lonely for those who don't.

Have a great weekend! I'm going to try to load Zoom on here for tonight!

emoticon Thank you for the confetti Happy Dances!

-- observation of the # on the scale... I'm so tickled going down and remember so frustrated/upset on the uptick!

emoticon anyhoo, am pausing to celebrate - and spoil myself a bit... for example,...

emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon Wendi - love the heart window...

emoticon on the thoughts of profound Gratitude
~ just sharing what has really helped me and what I really do... a daily gratitude list - and I squeeze stressballs, deep breath, sit on porch to enjoy rays of sunshine... but I digress, wanted to share this on gratitude...

~ once saw a little public tv show with Dr Amen? who wrote Change your brain, change your life - and found this little idea profoundly helpful...

you see, I tend to get scared/upset/frustrated when life is hard - and like right now - life is hard like on steroids... it can trigger feelings of fear, anxiety, distress, settle in as depression or anger...

emoticon what doctor said ~ was they had found (in research) that doing a little "grateful list of 3 or 5 things a day" could be as effective, perhaps more effective than taking mood-lifting drugs... the thing was - it has to be things you are truly grateful for...

emoticon so for me - when life just gets sooo dang hard, the list can get really really basic... for example.

-- hey, I am alive, I woke up breathing... I have another chance today
-- hey, I have a bed to sleep in and I am not homeless today
-- hey, I have too much food available - I am fortunate and I got lucky that I am not starving in a 3rd world country with no food too eat, with a fly sitting on my naked dist-tended belly, like the kid in the fundraising commercial - because it could be that... and it's not, so I am fortunate.
-- hey, I lilve somewhere safe... I don't have to worry about missles flying in and blowing up my house or the house next door... because I could live in a war torn country where sneaker missles fly in and go kaboom and that would be truly scary... I would be afraid to go to sleep in case I couldn't get up and to a shelter fast enough when an air rade siren blasts off... I feel soo bad for those people...
-- and today, hey... so far, so good, I am not sick. I am home, it is inconvenient but thank heaven on I'm not in the hospital... I am going to stay home so I don't get sick, and do things I dream of having time to do... so I'll be ready to get back at it when I can get out and about again...
-- and I am grateful for the people who do have to go out and risk everything to help others... I wish I could. If I were younger and healthier, I would... but I can't, I am at severe risk of dying, so I will stay home... and I am so thankful I have a home today...

Excited for zoom meeting tonight. Weather had been in the 60s but today 43 and tomorrow 48 and I am making excuses not to walk.

The 1st case of coronavirus in Colorado was March 5th but wasn't really a panic thing yet and I think of all the places I have been and people I have been around until it started getting serious on the 16th of March. Really scares me as cases are climbing by the 100s every day here. I write down on my calendar every time I leave my house and where I went so I have a record of my whereabouts. Believe all of us in this area have been exposed without realizing it. Miss human contact with my friends and phone calls are just not the same. But Anne Frank and her family hid for just over two years in the Secret Annex, from June 6, 1942 through Aug. 1944. So if she survived I think so can we. What worries me is if things as we knew them will ever be the same or normal again.

OK enough doomsday. My grandkids are hard at work with their home school - I have always worked from home so actually spending time getting things caught up. I have a nice home with electricity, heat and tv so very lucky.

My eating has been terrible. Hungry but never seem to be satisfied and always searching for something else to eat. Generally not a stress eater and tend to loose my appetite when I am stressed.

Hi to everyone out there - love reading your posts. Have a great weekend.

Jill

Jules, I love it check the jeans. This too shall pass. You got this girlfriend. My favorite get up and dance song? Well lately it’s been 24 K Magic by Bruno (thanks Leo) And again (thanks Leo) Prince Ali from Aladdin. LOL Lets sing and dance girlfriend! However it still won’t be over because none of us are the fat lady! We may have extra weight but we are not fat. Just fluffy

Wendi, I love your windows. I need to get on that tonight. I have some window clings I will cut some hearts out tonight. Fingers are crossed your baby gets the job. It’s tough right now with people not being allowed to be out and about.

Laura, I am sure keeping hubby to a routine isn’t going to work. That is what I have been trying to do with my extra days off. Still get up at the same time I would normally. But we can’t do a darn thing with our men sometimes.

Brenda, thanks, we went for a walk and then came home and grilled steaks. Not sure we will get to see the boys this weekend. Matthew has them on lockdown. I get it but I hate it! I miss them.. Seeing them on facetime just isn’t the same. Oh my goodness poopy in the tub did you laugh? I would have had too. How well I remember that. I got up yesterday and got dressed just as I would if I was going to work. Trying to make a routine on my days off. Everything is subject to change in a moment. So trying to make the best of things.

Well today is a work day so I need to get my buns moving have a great day ladies.

Sup? LOL. We're hanging out at home, but getting things done. Hubby is working from home so I don't see him all day except lunchtime. He has online meetings and wears a nice shirt with sweat pants (they'll never know)! I wish he could do this forever...no long drive to work!

I'm tempted to hang out in jammies but don't want to feel like it's a "sick day" so I get dressed and do things. The only news on Covid 19 that I watch is the actual daily press conference to hear updates. Other than that, it's fun TV or music!

Our highlight today was a video from our kids giving Brody a bath and having him poop in the water! Too funny! Welcome to parenthood!

I will say this is giving me lots of time to get "to-do" projects done! Clearing out pictures, papers, cards, old schoolwork...things that cause lots of clutter! Going, going, gone!

Enjoy the time to have a little fun. Don't stress about the virus...if you're staying in or practicing social distancing, etc, you'll be fine. This too shall pass - take advantage of the time off! Stay well and happy!
emoticon

Kim - Happy anniversary and happy birthday to hubby! Enjoy celebrating with your family!

Laura - Thanks for giving the info to us for setting up zoom. I'll try to get it! Enjoy hubby at home!

Wendi - Enjoy your walks and clear your head...love the nice weather! Love all the hearts in your windows! Have fun with the boys!

Jules - emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
So proud of you getting into the 2's! That's a huge accomplishment... especially when you're stressed! You go, Girl! Also loved your PSA message! LOL

I hear you on the anxiety. Since things are just "not normal" it throws a lot of us off. Looking forward to hanging with my peeps tomorrow night!

Its official - hubby is home for awhile. I now have to teach him that this isn't a vacation and still being in his jammies when I get off work just won't cut it.

Let's have a good Friday!

Laura-congrats on getting into the program and your brother too! I am looking forward to your threads. I really hope it helps! I know I can lose on lower carb, I just need some pushing or support! A journaling thread will be great too. I'm up for anything!

I'm still hanging in there. I find myself stress eating too much. I don't know why it should be any different because I am home all the time anyway. But worrying about getting the kid his schooling--they start on Monday. Bonus though: he has to have PE class and activity every day. I will be doing this too so that should help a lot! Emotional for the college kid but he's doing ok. Got all his stuff home and even though it is still in the middle of my living room it is unloaded. He has an interview for his internship tomorrow. Please pray he gets this one!

I just feel so unorganized and I hate feeling that way! I did get my hearts up on the window for the #aworldofhearts #weareinthistogether

Little bit of a reflection....sorry

I'm trying to find my grateful every day. Grateful that we are all healthy! Grateful that the sky is bright blue this morning and the sun is shining! Grateful for all of you!

We used zoom for our bible study on Tuesday. It worked pretty well. My internet was a little weak at points but not terrible.

I guess I better get to work and yell at my kid to get in the shower AGAIN! Teenagers! It can get pretty stinky around here with all these boys! Tyler left yesterday to go home and "clean" his house. I expect he will be back sometime this weekend. Hoping to get the garage cleaned this weekend! That would be a big accomplishment! We shall see!

Have a great day everyone!!

little stressed & distressed - triggered urges to dive into food & swim around snacking - especially middle of the night. blogged it.... will do things today to help myself de-stress, instead of naps... although we are at home with permission to nap, I think that might make my sleep even more haywire...

emoticon but since i'm tired, I think i'll do some nice soothing easy chair exercise videos - kinda corny and fun but helps with stretching out, range of motion, easing pain, flexibility, etc...

Thanks Laura for fixing that. We use goggle hangout with our family that is kind of spread out. I use zoom meetings with Phit-N_Phat Both are pretty easy to use.

Weather has been beautiful so making sure I get out for a walk every day. Cold and snow forecasted for Friday but then warm all next week.

Trying my best to calm myself down as like Jules I focus way too much on what is going on in this crazy world. I get really anxious when I have to leave the house and in contact with others.
God has given me today and need to just enjoy it.

Have a great week.

I will put some instructions out later on Zoom. Friday evening. I’ll make a thread. You can do without a camera but then we would not see your lovely face. You will not have to use a keyboard except to sign in. I hate laptop keyboards too. I have a wireless keyboard for mine.

Laura, how cool is that? I love what your neighborhood has done. How fun for the kids! Can I do the whole zoom thing without a camera? I don’t have one on my desktop. I can load it to the laptop but I don’t like the keyboard. Lol Yay congrats on getting in the program. That’s awesome! I am looking forward to learning with you. Don’t kill your hubby. Just put him to work. Tell him he has no choice but to get up and get moving. A friend told me the other day 2 things are going to happen lots of divorces or deaths and she has a uncle who has 1000 acres we can bury bodies. LOL

Ditto Jules, put me in a meeting as well. Noone was there but me. I don’t have all the microphones and camera’s on my desk top so I guess I need to put it on my laptop as well. When did we decide we were going to meet?

I am off today and tomorrow so I am planning on just hanging out and starting my house cleaning. Hubby is at work so he is out of my way! At some point I need to run to the store. Today is hubby’s birthday so I need to get him a small cake or something. We normally don’t do that but have a small party with the kids but we decided to wait till the weekend and get together when it’s nice outside so I want him to have something. Plus tomorrow is our 26th anniversary. So I need to get some cards made for him as well. Have a great day ladies.

Thanks for the link Laura. I'll have to try it. My hubby is working from home and uses the den where my computer is so I'll have to see if I can boot him out!

Evening all! I've worked with Zoom, WebEx and several other platforms. One of the easiest to get everyone on is Google Hangouts. Its free, there is a chat feature but I can set up a private group and we can do multiple video where you can see everyone with a camera and whoever is talking, they can pop up so everyone can see who is talking. It has been awhile since I set up a private group so let me do a little research and I'll post directions out there soon.

Kim - I hear you about the hubby. Mine is the opposite. He would love to spend all day taking naps and lounging around doing nothing. And he was sent home tonight on shutdown. This isn't going to go well because he thinks he is going to lounge while I still do all the housework after working 8 hours. I'm going to need some FSC sanity!

Our weather has been cold, but our neighborhood is setting up a bear hunt for the kids in the neighborhood. As it gets warmer, parents are taking their kids out for a walk and people around the neighborhood have put a stuffed bear or other stuffed animal up in a window for the kids to "hunt" while on a walk.

Good luck with the move Wendi. That will be a long day! But at least they are home and hopefully safe.

Jill - Thank you for setting up the Zoom meeting. I've fixed your link for everyone to use:

us04web.zoom.us/j/948672253?pwd=SmIv
ME
FNcmZwTS9Hc1F2ZENvOWJNZz09

You just have to remember to take the "s" off of "https" so it just reads "http". It is a little quirk of SP. Then your link will show up live.

I'll mark my calendar.

Wasn't on last night because I got into the program. They are having me do a lot of homework prior to my first meeting with my health coach on Thursday. My brother got in as well. This is a diabetes reversal program. It follows a Ketosis diet - very low carb and high fat. It is a Keto diet on steroids. Once my metabolism resets, then I'll start getting a few more carbs back in my diet, but the whole purpose is to burn fat, not sugar for fuel. It will be a commitment. This is based on learning my body's carb intolerance level. It is like someone can be lactose intolerant, diabetics are carb intolerant.

I'll have to figure out how I'll work the thread on it next month. It also sounds like journaling will be important for us next month if the astronaut is correct. Is there anything special you all would like to see incorporated into a journaling thread?

I just can only watch bits, I am getting emotional too emotional, especially by evenings... last night was particularly hard... I get these really strong urges to dive into food and swim around in it snacking my brains out...

emoticon so, I had a good sleep, it helped reset my emotions... I feel better today...

emoticon emoticon emoticon this morning I had a good breakfast ~ what I mean is ~ I chose foods that will help my body... I stayed in the ranges for Carbs & Calories suggested on the SP Diabetes food tracker... I chose foods that will help my body keep my heart safe... and for me, doing this was like giving myself some tlc! and bonus! it was all yummy! LOL

Have a good day everyone... Take care today & Keep your Happy on! we're gonna get thru this too....

Dee, Loved the Greatest Showman. Great movie. Not sure we are going to get to go and help Kaitlyn or not. I still have to work 20 hours a week and Doug’s business has been somehow deemed essential. Still trying to figure that one out. He workings at a bubblewrap factory. His actual part of the company packs things that go out to stores I suppose that is why? Who knows.

Jill, A zoom meeting? Not sure what that is but I am game. Would love to have a “meeting” with you all. I will try and get that downloaded. I don’t however have a camera on my desktop so I am assuming I need to download it on my laptop? I am planning on getting out tomorrow and hiking. I think Missy is going to bring the boys too. I need to get them some shoes that they can get really muddy though. Leo is a diva he can’t stand his shoes getting dirty. Its bad. He is just like my son!

Jules, I LOVE IT I will show it to him this evening. He got “lucky” though he still gets to work as of right now. I am praying he doesn’t get sick.

Stephanie, there is a “mega” church here and they are still having services and the “pastor” of the church said “ We know we’re not supposed to be but six feet apart, but Lord I thank you. That might be for the world we’re not a part of,” Darlene Bishop said during Sunday’s service at the Cincinnati location. She is off her rocker! I mean what world are you apart of? One you made up?

Wendi, oh gosh. That stinks. But glad they are able to do the classes online.

Brenda, this social distancing stinks for sure! I do not like it. I guess I don’t like being told what to do or not do. I can’t wait till this pandemic has ran its course. I just want my life back to normal. I don’t like this new normal it stinks.

We found out yesterday that Accounting is a essential business so our boss relented and is allowing us to work at the office for 20 hour a week. Which is perfect. More than unemployment would bring in. And still enough to get out and enjoy some of the beautiful weather. We are allowed to get out and exercise so I plan on doing that. I want to get this weight off and get myself back in shape. We decided as a office that we are working today and Friday this week and then we are going to see what the weather is next week before we decide. How is that for making our own schedules? Never had that opportunity before.

Well I am off to get ready for the day. Have a great day ladies.

Hello! We're doing good here! Getting pics and videos from the kiddos with Brody, and talking on "conference calls" with my sister and Mom daily so it's like we're together. Yesterday I had to drop some meds off at my Mom's, and we ended up visiting with her for an hour. We sat on her ledge outside and she was sitting in a chair in the doorway (she's 85 so we're waiting the 2 weeks since Mike was still working until last Tuesday. One more week to go!). I dropped some jigsaw puzzles off at my sister's house and we talked to each other through the window. I miss them! We're together all the time!

I'm just doing my usual puttering around while Mike works online. Today was working on our taxes, so that'll continue. I'm getting in workouts too....just trying to do a daily routine.

Stay out of crowds and limit where you go. People here in San Diego we're all at the beaches and parks this last week...not observing the distance and hanging out in groups! They shut down all parking lots this weekend to discourage the gathering. People are unbelievable...they were only asking us to do it a few weeks and now those boneheads are putting others at risk. That's why I'm not going to any public place and staying home. It's not worth it to me to put my family in danger! We have babies and elderly and I'd like to keep them safe.

I'm enjoying our time doing puzzles, listening to music, dancing, watching movies and getting some odd chores done. I can enjoy a walk around the neighborhood or sit and enjoy my backyard. There's plenty to do for fun! Try to find your happy place!
emoticon

Kim - Glad you got to see the kiddos! Hope you kept your distance in Sam's... I'm not going in to any store... We're being extra careful so we can rule the virus out and see my sister, mom and kids while remaining home. So glad you get a break from taxes!

Dee - Great that they're protecting you at the pharmacy. We loved Knives Out...fun "who dunnit"! Love love the Greatest Showman!! I own the movie and soundtrack CD... fantastic!

Stephanie - Glad you get to see Baizley online too! I miss holding Brody, but I'll take it! Enjoy having the boys around too!

Laura - Hope you and your brother get into the program! Good luck!

Jill - I love listening to music...it makes me happy and relaxed! I'm using Insta-Cart for the grocery store and Drive-up pick-up for Target. It makes me anxious too. Thanks for the info on the zoom meeting. I'll see if I can do it!

Jules - Thanks for the interesting tidbits on how to stay inside! BTW - my bag of rice has 7,568 grains... LOL

Wendi - Happy birthday to Joel! Sounds like you and Stephanie are in the same boat with the boys coming back home. Enjoy the fun together.

Hey everyone!

Still trying to figure it all out. It is hard when you are used to 1 kid here and all of a sudden you have 3 (2 of which are very big eaters!) Joel found out over the weekend that they will finish the semester online. They have to go this week and clean out their dorm rooms and pick up their tools. They had to sign up for a 3 hr block and bring as few helpers as possible. So Joel is going tomorrow with his big brother. We reserved a UHaul trailer as the tool box is too large to fit in our tahoe. It is 5 1/2 hours down there, 3 hours loading and 5 1/2 hours back. Good thing they are young and the weather is good!

We celebrated Joel's birthday on Friday.....turned 20! We did go and see Mike's folks but everyone is in good health and washing their hands a LOT! They are in their late 60s so young enough! Saturday, I cleaned out the fridge and did some other chores. Sunday we "went" to church in our living room and then relaxed most of the day. I was tired as my sleeping hasn't been very good. Today I got up and exercised! YAY! Started the laundry and then some office work. Jack did a little bit of homework. They aren't officially starting online until next week but some teachers have posted. Joel did some of his work. He is also trying to get an internship for the summer so keep your fingers crossed for that! I'm just doing what I can and it has been hard to adjust but I will get there!

I will try and join you on Friday. We are going to use Zoom tomorrow for my bible study so I will see how it goes!

Keep keeping on everyone! AND keep the inspiration coming! Love you all!

emoticon Hi Everyone!

emoticon I would love a video/conference call - but don't know how... have never facetimed with anyone, so might need help to figure it out... I have windows 10, I think... if that matters... on my 'puter.

emoticon Laura - hope you & db both get in! Sounds awesome! Would love to hear about it...

emoticon Stephanie - Baizley - too dang cute... think this will also be our 1st Easter @ home - I am reminded that buildings are not actually the fellowship... and it's amazing all the stuff happening tv/online.... in the 1918 pandemic - there was none of that... did they have radio then? I am so thankful we have such access & can even keep Sparking right now!

emoticon a friend shared a NYT article
I Spent a Year in Space, and I Have Tips on Isolation to Share
Take it from someone who couldn’t: Go outside.

By Scott Kelly
Mr. Kelly is a retired NASA astronaut who spent nearly a year on the International Space Station.
March 21, 2020

I tried to get it online, but it requires a subscription to read, which I did not get, but want to share a couple snippets that I found helpful... and they are (quoted from article)

emoticon Keep a journal

NASA has been studying the effects of isolation on humans for decades, and one surprising finding they have made is the value of keeping a journal. Throughout my yearlong mission, I took the time to write about my experiences almost every day. If you find yourself just chronicling the days’ events (which, under the circumstances, might get repetitive) instead try describing what you are experiencing through your five senses or write about memories. Even if you don’t wind up writing a book based on your journal like I did, writing about your days will help put your experiences in perspective and let you look back later on what this unique time in history has meant.

emoticon Take time to connect

Even with all the responsibilities of serving as commander of a space station, I never missed the chance to have a videoconference with family and friends. Scientists have found that isolation is damaging not only to our mental health, but to our physical health as well, especially our immune systems. Technology makes it easier than ever to keep in touch, so it’s worth making time to connect with someone every day — it might actually help you fight off viruses.

/end quote

emoticon I also find the journaling - for me, the blogging and sharing my thoughts/ideas that I'm pondering has helped me... it helps me sort through the information I'm reading and identify how it applies to me...

It's not that I'm ever trying to say other people should do what I'm doing - it just helps me to sort it out for me... and express it... And so, I love when other people share what they are working on/thinking about too - that's how I've sampled ideas to think about and try ones that interest me...

emoticon and it also just helps to know other people who are really doing all these same kinds of things for health and self-care and eating well, and exercise... I don't have that in the real world - so Sparking and SparkFriends on teams like this have made a profound difference in my life - I don't feel helpless or alone in this journey! and methinks y'all rock!

emoticon need to jet - talk more later! Cheers :)

emoticon ps ~ Kim! Here's an idea for hubby.... emoticon

Weather has been beautiful so the outside walks have been helping. I decided I too could listen no more to the news. I have a record player and have been listening to music. I do have much work in my office so have plenty to keep me busy.

What about a zoom meeting? I do that for another group I am in but not sure everyone can see everyone. I will check it out and see how it works exactly unless someone here has experience with it.

Ventured out to the store to get milk yesterday and to be honest I get very anxious when I am out.

Have a great week to all.

Dee, I am over this virus. LOL While I am not normally a hugger I could be very easily and this is putting a kabosh on me being me. If my hubby gets word today they have shut him down he is going to loose his mind. He can’t handle 3 days let alone 2 or more weeks. I am going to have to come up with something for him to do daily.

Stephanie, Kaitlyn is busy as can be. She gave out 500 lunches the other day to people just needing a little hand. And she has told me that if we want to come help we can come and make sandwiches and bag food for her. As she soon going to have to lay off her staff that aren’t considered essential. We may go up and help her for a day or two. Yes, my son is special sometimes he is a huge taco fan and that is all he wants to eat. Missy struggles to get him to eat anything else. Thankfully she doesn’t make the boys eat that crap. They get whatever they want and then she fixes him tacos and whatever she wants to eat. He is set in his ways and being out of hamburger was not a fun time at their house lol

Laura, I am totally over this weather. It has done nothing but rain here. If it was snowing, we would be buried. My fingers are crossed for you to get into the program. And so glad you are willing to share your information with all of us. We are truly blessed to have you as our leader. I would love to set up a video chat with everyone. That way we can see other people not just our spouses. While I love my husband dearly he is getting on my last nerve and he hasn’t been laid off as of yet.

Well, I guess I need to get ready for my “last” day of work for a little while. I will be working from home as of tomorrow. I will mainly be doing bookkeeping I am not bringing tax returns home with me for any reason. Those can wait till such time as we can get back to work. The bookkeeping though I can get caught up on and maybe wont be so stressed when we do go back to work.

Have a wonderful day ladies.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the MIA. Went on a deep dive to start my spring cleaning, getting set up again for working from home and trying to keep up with all the closing around here. Of course, it then snows today. I am so over winter!

All these pictures of these little ones are warming my heart. All are such sweeties! Can't have too much cuteness right now so keep posting those pics!

I find out tomorrow or Tuesday whether I'm accepted into the Ketosis Diet program at Virta. You all can look at their website. It is a $5000 program that my company will be paying the full tab on. Chances are good that my brother will also be accepted into the program.

Now we will be medically monitored 24/7 because we are going so low carb that it will mean some immediate dial-backs on some of our insulin. The purpose is to go so low carb that we go into ketosis and start burning fat instead of sugars for fuel.

If I get in, I'll have some sort of thread to discuss my journey.

Stephanie - I have started limiting my online/tv time when it comes to the news. Also started watching a couple of kitty YouTubes to put a smile back on my face. I watch about an hour in the morning to catch up on the previous day and 1 hour in the afternoon to hear the latest that came out of the press briefings. The constant 24/7 has gotten to be too much.

Dee - I liked Knives out too. Kind of reminded me of an update "Clue" movie. Sometimes it is good to just escape into a fun and silly movie.

It is weird to see so many empty parking lots around town.

Maybe we can set up a video chat some Friday evening soon as a way to safely have some facetime with other humans.

Be stronger than your excuses.

Good afternoon, friends! I hope you're doing well and not going too stir crazy with all the "social distancing". Thank goodness for the internet and FaceTime! Seeing my sweet Baizley's precious little face sure does help when I get the blues. Miss her so much.

I don't have much to report. Shawn is still working, as of right now. He works in the utility business (phones and internet), so they haven't had to send anyone home yet, but we're just holding our breath. If worse comes to worse, he has four weeks of paid vacation and some paid sick days he can use. Tomorrow Jacob and I have to move the rest of his belongings out of the dorm, since the remainder of the semester will be online classes only. Oh well...mine and Shawn's second honeymoon sure didn't last very long. *sigh*

Dee - The schools here are giving away bagged lunches too, which I think is so awesome. In this trying time, it really warms my heart seeing people helping each other. We watched Knives Out a couple of weeks ago and loved it.

Jules - Thank you so much for the uplifting posts. ((((HUGS)))) My Spark friends are one of my ropes too. Love you all!

Kim - That's exactly how I feel too. I'm ready to go whenever God wants me. I'm glad your mom is doing okay. I'm also glad you're staying safe at work. I hope the government doesn't shut you down. Four taco nights a week? My goodness! LOL. I love tacos, but I don't think I could stand having them four times a week.

Brenda - I love The Masked Singer too. You talking about buying the bunny jammies for Brody got me to thinking about Easter...this will be the first year I can remember missing an Easter church service. WOW. That will feel so strange.

Jill - Way to go with the exercise! I wish your motivation would rub off on me. I've been doing terribly while being stuck inside. Too much snacking. Ugh.

I hope you all have a great week! Stay strong and hang in there! We'll get through this together!

Stephanie

Thanks for the giggles Jules. We need them.

Brenda and Kim -- glad you got your needed supplies and saw your boys.

I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for Paul and they have six foot tables set up in front of them. You have to slide the merchandise to them and they slide it back. They also have lines taped on the floor indicating how much personal space you need to leave. I'm glad they're being safe.

My DH and I watched the movie Knives Out last night. It was corny and funny and relaxing.

Jules, I love it!

Brenda, Glad that you got to see Brody through the window. And awe cute jammies. I love buying jammies for the boys.

Doug and I ventured out to Sam's and got some needed items. No toilet paper though lol They actually didn't have any but luckily we had no need either. I did get my boys some brownie bites since they were out and Matthew was desperate for Hamburger so I got him some of that. My son has to have his taco's 4 nights a week yes I am dead serious. Then we came home and took a nap then got to go and pay with my boys for an hour. That made my entire week! Man do I miss those little boys when I cant see them all the time.

Today we are just chilling at home. I am going to play with my cricut and just lay low today. Have a great day ladies.

We went out today to pick up our items from Target (online order drive up)... trying to keep a distance. We bought Brody a jammie with a bunny on it, some diapers, and snacks for fun. We got to bring them over to their house and see Brody through the window! We miss them so much! We talked for about 1/2 hour...it was nice.

Tonight we watched a couple of movies with the fireplace going.

Enjoy your weekend!

Jill, I am sure the kids are getting a little stir crazy. They are really talking about keeping schools closed until the fall here. I feel for the kids and their parents now with daycares closed. This is going to take a long time to come back from.

Love the Masked singer too Brenda. What a great way to social distance. Sounds like you are all being safe. I can’t wait till this scare is over. I miss my little boys terribly. Facetime is great but not holding and hugging is just not the same. I understand Matthew is being safe. It’s just killing me is all. Plus they have until today been going to daycare. They finally closed all the daycare centers. I am very blessed that I was able to talk to the great nurse my mom has. He is really great Seems to really care about the patients.

Jules, I am with Brenda, My ropes are my kids and grandkids.

The bosses tried to close my office yesterday(they closed the other 4) but, we weren’t having any of that. I know they extended the tax deadline but we are literally buried under returns. I think we still have close to 50 to do as of yet. And our office is unique in that when you come in you can’t get to us unless we allow you too. We have a full glass reception area ( so think like a doc office sliding glass doors to talk through) and then the door to get back to our office we are able to lock. And we have a entryway door then another door before they ever get to the lobby. So, we are going to allow our clients into the first door and leave their stuff once they leave we will retrieve it and then they have to call us to pick up we will leave their stuff in the same area and they will sign the return pay us and pick up their stuff. We just want to get it done. I don’t want to work longer with all this crapola. And no one wants to be unemployed right now. I know eventually the governor will shut us down but until then I feel as if we are being as safe as we can possibly be.

Hubby and I are going to make a sams club run today and then hanging at home. Have a great weekend all.

Hi everyone! We're hanging at home watching the Masked Singer (love that show) at the same time as my mom and sister so we can call each other and talk about it! We're also eating popcorn at the same time so it'll be like we're together! Our regular Friday Fun Night! Enjoy your Friday!

Kim - Glad you got info about your mom from a nurse you like. It sounds like he's very caring and she's getting good care. After the 2 weeks, we'll rule out that we don't have the virus, so our family can visit each other....the kids, Mom, sister and niece. We all live in the same city.

Jill - Enjoy the kids and snow...vacay!

Jules - My ropes are my family, Sparks and friends...we can talk and have fun!
My family are all staying home for the 2 weeks so we can visit each other while staying in.

emoticon Hi everyone

sounds about the same for all of us - this is so extremely weird - everyone is coping with the same issues - so big ginormous hugs to all!

emoticon Gramsie used to say - hold onto the rope!
So, what's your rope?

we have the puppy/kitty "too cute" on in the background while we work today... funny tv tonight, early to bed... I can only handle a little news updates - and we've done the errands so, will just stick home...

emoticon this, SparkFriends is 1 of my ropes! Hang in everyone & keep the faith!

The grandkids have been out of school for 2 weeks now and earliest they will be back is April 17th. No they really aren't going anywhere except outside to play. Church, school, and all extra curricular canceled so really no where to go. We are all being extremely cautious. Figure I can do this for the next 2 weeks. I have too many family members in the medical field and know the risks out there but not as worried about myself but those that are elderly and compromised health conditions. Yesterday all hair and nail salons were ordered closed and our mall closed. Does startle me how much control our government has over us and their ability to shut down the country.

With all the snow and ice we got yesterday and last night can't even get outside for a walk today. Guess elliptical it will be.

Wishing all of you a great weekend and be safe out there.

Jill

Wendi, I am so glad that my kids are grown. I don’t have the umpf to be a teacher lol. I am having enough problems keeping these IGAs from having heart failure over Trump making them pay sick pay Or days off. One of them is seriously about to loose his mind.

Jill, why are you feeling guilty? Are your babies stuck at home or are they getting out and about? Mine are still going to daycare. Although my son is pitching a mega fit. Mommy is worried they will get lazy and not continue to learn and daddy is scared they will get sick. Mom wins. I am doing everything I can possibly do not to have too much contact with people so I am able to see them this weekend. Its killing me not seeing them all the time!

Stephanie, While I have been watching the news and letting what everyone is saying sink in. I am not playing into the mass hysteria of the news media.
I have decided that if this is the way god wants to take me out then this is how I will go. Ya know?

Dee, goodness 600 kids brought their books back? I am sure you were crazy busy weren’t you? Schools here are passing out lunches to the kids at their bus stops. And a lot of restaurants are giving free kids meals to the kids. That is most awesome!

Jules I love your positive messages! Good idea not allowing hubby to talk about this too excess. Sometimes you just need to be.

Brenda, A month of staying in? I would loose my mind that is a fact! While I love being home being made to stay home would drive me insane. My boss is trying to come up with a way for us to work from home which really is not going to happen no matter what she is thinking. I guess the Gov in Ky made it mandatory to at least offer the option to workers. But with what we do with peoples information there is no safe way to transfer that information from the office to home. So I am going to talk with my girls and see what they think is the best option.

I called and talked to my mom’s nurse yesterday. Seth, he is one I adore. Told me that she was doing alright. And that he got her to get up and help him help her transfer from bed to chair. He is worried that since they aren’t allowing them to be together to eat that she isn’t eating. She has forgotten what she is suppose to do and she was mimicking everyone else. But at least he is trying to get her to do what she needs to do. And thusfar, she is doing alright.

Stay safe my dear friends. It’s Friday and I am so excited I get to stay home tomorrow!!! IT’s going to be a great day!

Love the uplifting ideas Jules!

We're just staying in. California has issued a "stay at home" order until April 19th. They want everyone to stay home unless you need to pic up meds, food, and other essential items. You can go out, but you have to stay 6 feet away from others (social distancing). We're staying in our house so we can see Brody in a couple of weeks.

We're still a little confused over how much separation we need between my mom and sister. We saw both of them on Sunday. Hubby worked his last day on Monday and is now working at home. My sister works from home anyway, but she saw her pregnant daughter today and took her to the doc on Monday. Her daughter's hubby stopped taking the train to work last week, but worked through today and will now be home. We usually spend the weekend together, but I think Mike and I have to stay away since we only have one more week until we can see Brody. Confused totally! Any thoughts??

Stay home, well and have some fun!

emoticon Hi everyone :)

emoticon our solution to the out & about 'need to go potty' was the grocery store...

emoticon emoticon emoticon Protecting Ourselves & Our Emotions

Stephanie - yes, social media, the tv news and people around us... the news on the virus canb e beyond distressing -

emoticon WE ARE EXPERIENCING THE FLIP SIDE OF THIS - THE WORLD IS SCREAMING

emoticon So WHAT CAN WE DO?

emoticon Protect yourself and Protect your emotions
This morning, I heard someone share a tip or few... not only do we need to do things like wash our hands, also Protect our emotions - Limit the news - get a few essential updates each day - maybe periodically through the day so we STAY INFORMED but do NOT DWELL IN IT ~

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Emotions are normal - and so are everyone elses….
so acknowledge them - express them, then decide on the plan to fix/deal with what we can. then also decide when to do that again. at our home, after we watch the news 3, maybe 4 times a day - a bit at each meal time and maybe the late night news to pick up updates and weather - that is when we talk about it and decide what we need to do... then we talk about and do other things until it's time for the next update and talk...

emoticon I think we can help other people with their fears - we can suggest, hey, do you want to talk about this stuff for a few minutes before we talk about regular stuff? Is there anything you need/want to talk about... and then troubleshoot and say, ok, let's put our smile on and talk other regular things... maybe talk about favorite happy memories or happy places or daydream a day trip for later when we are free to get out and about again! or maybe some new traditions and foods and games to try at holidays when everyone is together again...

emoticon the are INTENTIONAL things we CAN DO to help ourselves and control and limit how we COPE with this horrible/devastating/possible life changing worldwide event... Everyone is going through this - and this will pass... 1 way or another and we will know more later when we know more later...

emoticon so keep reminding yourself and other people too that we will get through this...

emoticon and be kind to yourself - reassure yourself that feelings are normal - so give yourself extra tlc ~ do things to help yourself! Last night, I promised myself some laff tv and early to bed for an overnight nap, and I did wakeup feeling better...

As the day goes along, and we deal with worry and fret, we will get tired and emotional and more emotional - so figure out how you can help yourself de-stress and help other people around you too.....

emoticon hubby and I did have a heart2heart because he would dwell in the ick... I just can't let him pull me in there... so I did need to set these kinds of boundaries... that we will talk about the things a couple times a day - and the rest of the day, we do other things...

emoticon Are there man cave chores for the guys around the home? I have such a long honey to do list, he has NO idea! LOL

Anyway - hugs, hugs & more hugs... emoticon emoticon emoticon
