I have a desk job too. I wear a fitbit so it vibrates every hour if I haven't taken at least 250 steps. If it goes off I try to take a walk around the floor or in the stairwell just to get a little movement in during the day.

Hello! I work at a doctor's office and pretty much sit behind a desk all day. I do get up periodically to take a few steps, but I am not allowed to be away from my desk very long. Can anyone offer any ideas as to ways that I can increase my steps? I do try to go for a walk every evening which helps, but I have so few steps during the day that I still don't meet my goal.
