Comments:I generally have my apple in the morning some way with breakfast or I will more easily forget to eat it. Enjoyed the challenge-I still have lots of apples!

I need to focus more on what I am doing. I am starting to neglect myself again. Putting everything in front of my health. That's not good! Got to get back on track.


Positives gained from this challenge...I learned it is so easy for bad habits to creep into your healthy eating routine. I have to put a BLOCK on it now before I totally destroy all of the good that has been done.


This journey is certainly a JOURNEY. I have to remember it is not a diet, but a lifestyle!!!

Now on to the next challenge!

Thank you have finished my dinner we are 11 hours ahead of the US Eastern Zone so would have to start tomorrow in any case ate a banana, some dried apricots & some pomelo which is a lot like grapefruit. Not too fond of apples as we do not get good quality ones here in Bangladesh

This week's challenge is to eat an Apple a Day for the entire week. Apples emoticon provide so many health benefits. Apples provide fiber, vitamin C. has fewer calories, and many other benefits. The important thing for this challenge is to get that fruit in during the week. It is good for us. It produces "staying power" which diminishes hunger. Because the apple requires much chewing, it increases the production of salivary juices and it also massages the gums. It promotes a healthy digestive system and proper elimination and the list of benefits continue.

Let's try some new varieties during this challenge. Maybe on our next trip emoticon to the grocery store, we can pick up a different apple for each day of the challenge. If we are not comfortable with that, we can just use the apples that we are familiar with. Some varieties to try if you are adventuresome emoticon are Red Delicious, Fuji, Gala, Jazzy, Pink Lady to name a few.

The old saying, "An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away." Let's keep the doctor away for this week's challenge. emoticon

The challenge will begin on Monday and end on Sunday. Please use the template below to help you to stay on track. Remember post each day.
