Due to many illnesses in April, including bronchitis, bouts of critically low blood pressure, and many migraines, I got nowhere close to meeting my goals for April, so I am aiming for the same ones again in May. They are lofty and may be carried over to June as well.

I don't want to make excuses. I did not lower my calori range on days I couldn't work out. In fact, sometimes I ate everything in sight. Well, it's a new month, I think the blood pressure issues have been resolved, and I am recommiting myself to my goals:

1. I am going to keep my streaks of drinking 8 or more glasses of water and eating at least 5 fruits and veggies a day alive.

2. I am going to aim for a weight loss of 3 pounds a week in order to fit back into my wedding dress by my April 26 3rd wedding anniversary.

3. I want to go to the gym for strength training at least 2 days a week.

4. I am going to take good care of myself in an attempt to minmize my migraines.

5. I am going to reintroduce meditation into my life.

6. I am going to do Pilates training on the Reformer once a week with a personal trainer as part of my physical therapy.

7. I am going to set up my Wii "New U Mind Body" yoga and pilates workout and break out of my comfort zone with this new training.

8. I am going to aim for some form of exercise at least 20 minutes a day, 7 days a week...a real challenge with my migraines and other health issues.

9. I am going to control my spending and work on rebuilding my husband's trust in me.

10. I am going to maintain my gardens as needed.
