- Cardio: For each minute of deliberate cardio that you do, you will earn 1 point. Deliberate cardio means that it is not part of your everyday routine (ie. movement/exercise done while working or taking care of your home and children). SP has already accounted for those burned calories as part of your personal statistics, which is why we will not be counting them. Keep in mind that in order for your cardio minutes to count this month, you have to have your fitness tracker visible on your SparkPage and have them broken down on your Challenge Tracker (please keep the explanation simple).
- Water: For each day that you drink 8 glasses of water, you will earn 25 points. The only approved changes you can make to your water is to add a splash of lemon, lime, etc. to give it a hint of flavor.
***CHANGE: For each glass of soda that you drink, deduct 5 pts.
- Blog: As we have done all along, you will earn 25 points for each day that you post a blog. At the end of the week, on either Friday or Saturday, you are required to post a Weekly Update Blog, which will earn you 100 pts. In this blog, you should give us a summary of your week. You must include your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you hope to achieve or improve on in the coming week. Failure to post a Weekly Update Blog will result in a 100 pt deduction. Just a reminder, on the day that you post the WUB, you will only earn points for that blog. Additional blogs will not earn you additional points.
***CHANGE: You will not earn points for daily blogs if you fail to post a Weekly Update Blog.
***CHANGE: On Wednesday, August 31st, everyone should post a Monthly Update Blog worth 200 pts. This blog should include a recap of your month as a whole, including your strengths, weaknesses, and what you hope to achieve in the coming month. Failure to post a MUB will result in a deduction of 200 pts!
- Sleep: As moms, we know that getting in 8 hours every night can seem ridiculously impossible. We’re going to aim for 6 hours each night instead. You may count the hours from the night before or the same day, but whichever method you use, stick with it for the rest of the month. If you get at least 6 hours, you will earn 25 points.
- Strength Training: For each day that you do strength training as part of your workout, you will earn 25 points. In order for it to count, you must do at least 2 sets with 12-15 reps of 5 or more exercises.
- Relax: In order to take care of your body, you have to give yourself a chance to relax. Spend 15 minutes or more doing something for yourself each day to earn 25 points. Post on your Challenge Tracker what it is you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Family Time: Spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something with your family and earn 25 pts. Post on your Challenge Tracker what is it you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Stretch: Often times we forget that after working out we are supposed to stretch our muscles out as part of our cool down. For each day that you spend at least 5 minutes stretching, you will earn 25 pts. This stretching can be in the form of yoga, pilates, or old school stretches. These points can only be earned on days that you do cardio or strength training.


All points must be posted on the challenge thread no later than the end of the day on Friday, September 2. Points totals for both Week 4 and August will be announced on Saturday. Failure to post points for the week will result in elimination from the challenge for the remainder of the month. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask. And don’t forget – each person should only be posting one reply on the challenge thread then editing as needed to update their points. PLEASE USE THE TRACKING FORM BELOW WHEN POSTING YOUR POINTS!!! This tracker is set up to make it easier for entering everyone’s points on the spreadsheet. If you deviate, it takes much longer than necessary to enter the points. Thanks to everyone for their participation – good luck with Week 4. This is our final week with the fruit teams so enjoy yourselves!!!

- Cardio: For each minute of deliberate cardio that you do, you will earn 1 point. Deliberate cardio means that it is not part of your everyday routine (ie. movement/exercise done while working or taking care of your home and children). SP has already accounted for those burned calories as part of your personal statistics, which is why we will not be counting them. Keep in mind that in order for your cardio minutes to count this month, you have to have your fitness tracker visible on your SparkPage and have them broken down on your Challenge Tracker (please keep the explanation simple).
- Water: For each day that you drink 8 glasses of water, you will earn 25 points. The only approved changes you can make to your water is to add a splash of lemon, lime, etc. to give it a hint of flavor.
***CHANGE: For each glass of soda that you drink, deduct 5 pts.
- Blog: As we have done all along, you will earn 25 points for each day that you post a blog. At the end of the week, on either Friday or Saturday, you are required to post a Weekly Update Blog, which will earn you 100 pts. In this blog, you should give us a summary of your week. You must include your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you hope to achieve or improve on in the coming week. Failure to post a Weekly Update Blog will result in a 100 pt deduction. Just a reminder, on the day that you post the WUB, you will only earn points for that blog. Additional blogs will not earn you additional points.
***CHANGE: You will not earn points for daily blogs if you fail to post a Weekly Update Blog.
***CHANGE: On Wednesday, August 31st, everyone should post a Monthly Update Blog worth 200 pts. This blog should include a recap of your month as a whole, including your strengths, weaknesses, and what you hope to achieve in the coming month. Failure to post a MUB will result in a deduction of 200 pts!
- Sleep: As moms, we know that getting in 8 hours every night can seem ridiculously impossible. We’re going to aim for 6 hours each night instead. You may count the hours from the night before or the same day, but whichever method you use, stick with it for the rest of the month. If you get at least 6 hours, you will earn 25 points.
- Strength Training: For each day that you do strength training as part of your workout, you will earn 25 points. In order for it to count, you must do at least 2 sets with 12-15 reps of 5 or more exercises.
- Relax: In order to take care of your body, you have to give yourself a chance to relax. Spend 15 minutes or more doing something for yourself each day to earn 25 points. Post on your Challenge Tracker what it is you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Family Time: Spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something with your family and earn 25 pts. Post on your Challenge Tracker what is it you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Stretch: Often times we forget that after working out we are supposed to stretch our muscles out as part of our cool down. For each day that you spend at least 5 minutes stretching, you will earn 25 pts. This stretching can be in the form of yoga, pilates, or old school stretches. - Cardio: For each minute of deliberate cardio that you do, you will earn 1 point. Deliberate cardio means that it is not part of your everyday routine (ie. movement/exercise done while working or taking care of your home and children). SP has already accounted for those burned calories as part of your personal statistics, which is why we will not be counting them. Keep in mind that in order for your cardio minutes to count this month, you have to have your fitness tracker visible on your SparkPage and have them broken down on your Challenge Tracker (please keep the explanation simple).
- Water: For each day that you drink 8 glasses of water, you will earn 25 points. The only approved changes you can make to your water is to add a splash of lemon, lime, etc. to give it a hint of flavor.
***CHANGE: For each glass of soda that you drink, deduct 5 pts.
- Blog: As we have done all along, you will earn 25 points for each day that you post a blog. At the end of the week, on either Friday or Saturday, you are required to post a Weekly Update Blog, which will earn you 100 pts. In this blog, you should give us a summary of your week. You must include your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you hope to achieve or improve on in the coming week. Failure to post a Weekly Update Blog will result in a 100 pt deduction. Just a reminder, on the day that you post the WUB, you will only earn points for that blog. Additional blogs will not earn you additional points.
***CHANGE: You will not earn points for daily blogs if you fail to post a Weekly Update Blog.
***CHANGE: On Wednesday, August 31st, everyone should post a Monthly Update Blog worth 200 pts. This blog should include a recap of your month as a whole, including your strengths, weaknesses, and what you hope to achieve in the coming month. Failure to post a MUB will result in a deduction of 200 pts!
- Sleep: As moms, we know that getting in 8 hours every night can seem ridiculously impossible. We’re going to aim for 6 hours each night instead. You may count the hours from the night before or the same day, but whichever method you use, stick with it for the rest of the month. If you get at least 6 hours, you will earn 25 points.
- Strength Training: For each day that you do strength training as part of your workout, you will earn 25 points. In order for it to count, you must do at least 2 sets with 12-15 reps of 5 or more exercises.
- Relax: In order to take care of your body, you have to give yourself a chance to relax. Spend 15 minutes or more doing something for yourself each day to earn 25 points. Post on your Challenge Tracker what it is you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Family Time: Spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something with your family and earn 25 pts. Post on your Challenge Tracker what is it you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Stretch: Often times we forget that after working out we are supposed to stretch our muscles out as part of our cool down. For each day that you spend at least 5 minutes stretching, you will earn 25 pts. This stretching can be in the form of yoga, pilates, or old school stretches. These points can only be earned on days that you do cardio or strength training.

It’s almost over!!! This last week is going to be a long one. And because it’s our last one, that means it’s time to throw a few twists into the challenge. In addition to what we have done in the previous weeks, there will be new parts as well. Read carefully since there have been some modifications to the previous portions.

- Cardio: For each minute of deliberate cardio that you do, you will earn 1 point. Deliberate cardio means that it is not part of your everyday routine (ie. movement/exercise done while working or taking care of your home and children). SP has already accounted for those burned calories as part of your personal statistics, which is why we will not be counting them. Keep in mind that in order for your cardio minutes to count this month, you have to have your fitness tracker visible on your SparkPage and have them broken down on your Challenge Tracker (please keep the explanation simple).
- Water: For each day that you drink 8 glasses of water, you will earn 25 points. The only approved changes you can make to your water is to add a splash of lemon, lime, etc. to give it a hint of flavor.
***CHANGE: For each glass of soda that you drink, deduct 5 pts.
- Blog: As we have done all along, you will earn 25 points for each day that you post a blog. At the end of the week, on either Friday or Saturday, you are required to post a Weekly Update Blog, which will earn you 100 pts. In this blog, you should give us a summary of your week. You must include your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you hope to achieve or improve on in the coming week. Failure to post a Weekly Update Blog will result in a 100 pt deduction. Just a reminder, on the day that you post the WUB, you will only earn points for that blog. Additional blogs will not earn you additional points.
***CHANGE: You will not earn points for daily blogs if you fail to post a Weekly Update Blog.
***CHANGE: On Wednesday, August 31st, everyone should post a Monthly Update Blog worth 200 pts. This blog should include a recap of your month as a whole, including your strengths, weaknesses, and what you hope to achieve in the coming month. Failure to post a MUB will result in a deduction of 200 pts!
- Sleep: As moms, we know that getting in 8 hours every night can seem ridiculously impossible. We’re going to aim for 6 hours each night instead. You may count the hours from the night before or the same day, but whichever method you use, stick with it for the rest of the month. If you get at least 6 hours, you will earn 25 points.
- Strength Training: For each day that you do strength training as part of your workout, you will earn 25 points. In order for it to count, you must do at least 2 sets with 12-15 reps of 5 or more exercises.
- Relax: In order to take care of your body, you have to give yourself a chance to relax. Spend 15 minutes or more doing something for yourself each day to earn 25 points. Post on your Challenge Tracker what it is you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Family Time: Spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something with your family and earn 25 pts. Post on your Challenge Tracker what is it you did (please keep the explanation simple).
- Stretch: Often times we forget that after working out we are supposed to stretch our muscles out as part of our cool down. For each day that you spend at least 5 minutes stretching, you will earn 25 pts. This stretching can be in the form of yoga, pilates, or old school stretches. These points can only be earned on days that you do cardio or strength training.


All points must be posted on the challenge thread no later than the end of the day on Friday, September 2. Points totals for both Week 4 and August will be announced on Saturday. Failure to post points for the week will result in elimination from the challenge for the remainder of the month. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask. And don’t forget – each person should only be posting one reply on the challenge thread then editing as needed to update their points. PLEASE USE THE TRACKING FORM BELOW WHEN POSTING YOUR POINTS!!! This tracker is set up to make it easier for entering everyone’s points on the spreadsheet. If you deviate, it takes much longer than necessary to enter the points. Thanks to everyone for their participation – good luck with Week 4. This is our final week with the fruit teams so enjoy yourselves!!!
