I only go 10 days. I start to get really tired in the afternoons towards the end. I don't know how people go for 20 or 30 days.

How long was your longest cleanse? I know I can do at least 11 days on it. It's just having the will power - and nothing is coming up in my near future for events... so that makes it easier to believe i can do it this time around.

I don't usually. I sometimes walk, but I tend to get headaches while I'm cleansing and I'm a runner--probably because I'm normally a big water drinker and the reduced water retention while cleansing. Needless to say, headaches and running do not go together well. I'd say, give Zumba a try and if you have any issues with it, skip it till you finish cleansing. If it's good, than go with it.

Thanks! This was the only weight loss "gimick" that actually worked for me... like you hear of all the celebrities doing this and that, but idk... and I hate to call it a gimick, but it seriously does wonders for your mind and body. :))

Did you work out while you were cleansing? I didn't the first time, but I've found myself being addicted to some Zumba ;) I finally got my dvd's in the mail and I can't seem to do anything other than this for cardio...

Good Luck! I'm a big believer in using the MC to make a break from bad habits and get serious again. I also tend to ease in, which helps make the transition less drastic.

Good morning MC'ers! I have lost a total of 25 lbs the first time I did the MC. That had jump started a total of a 45 lb loss for me by August 2011... what happened between August and now? I got lazy... fell back into a slight depression and ate my feelings back up 20 lbs. Not a happy camper.

So since January 4th, 2012, I am down 4 lbs and 4in over all. I am ready to get back on the MC train and feel great about myself from the inside again!!

I am PUMPED. I have gotten an accountability partner. Her name is Lauren, and I am extremely thankful we crossed paths. She had made a comment about the MC photos I have posted throughout the first time I did the cleanse ... within a month, "my tracker roll" had disappeared. I am ready for that again ... I've only gone up one pant size, but I am taking action to stop it before it goes further ...

So back on track. Yesterday was my last day for processed foods, I'm going to attempt to "ease in" unlike the times before and I've failed after the first successful MC .. ie meats, noodles, etc. Today I started out with a Yoplait Light Strawberry yogurt and I have been sipping OJ for the majority of the AM. (I just bought my new water bottle!!))

This will be a constant reminder. :)) So for lunch I packed a salad. and tonight I will possibly do my first SWF to get a jump start on it. So I'll prolly only stick to this ease in for today and possibly tomorrow between water, lemonade and OJ... But then it's on for the MC !! :)) I will keep you updated! Hoping to hear your stories as well!! And if anyone wants to join in... my start date will be Friday. Let me know!! XOXO - Stacy
