Decluttering Phase 1

Dining Room/Home office Declutter

1. Clear and file all paperwork on dining room table.
2. Organize all other paperwork/files in dining room.
3. General cleaning of dining room

Living Room/Temporary Bedroom Declutter (due to husband's health issues/surgery this has been our bedroom for past two years

1. Fold and organize all clothing. Remove extra items to master bedroom.
2. Remove and put away all extra items not belonging in living room.
3. Dust and vacuum.

Master Bedroom

1. Fold and sort all clothing in room.
2. Purge excess clothing for both hubby and me. (Big project) Goal to get rid of 1/2 to 2/3 of clothing.
3. Completely clean Master Bedroom closet.
4. Vacuum and dust
5. New beddings and drapes Reward for completing this project.
6. Goal- Move back into upstairs master bedroom from temporary living room bedroom.

Lots more in Phase 2! House decluttering with objective to eventually downsize.

2. Sell or donate

Master bedroom
1 bookcase
2. Floor
3. Dresser drawers
4. Drawers of side tables.

1. Pantry - throw out outdated foods
2. Plastic containers - sort
3. Utensils - sort
4. Get knives sharpened
5. Sort cookie cutters
6. Small appliances - decide what to keep and what to donate.
7. Pots and pans - what to keep
8. Buy new 12 inch frying pan

My Projects in order of Importance
1. Declutter and organize Home Education Library
A. Desk drawer: done Aug. 4, 2016
B. File away old school documents
C. Place old home school magazines in ONE organized box.
D. Take all photo albums to craft room DONE 8/9/16
E. Take genealogy fiel cabinet to craft room
F. Use baskets to contain cd's. on desk 8/9/16 be continued

2. Susan's bedroom
A. Get rid of old clothes in preparation for new.
B. Design/make a new lid for the chest at foot of bed

3. Help the Girl's control their bedroom clutter.

4. Laundry / sewing supply room
A. Toss out material I'm 'never gonna use'.
B. Toss out or cut down to quilt squares, girls' old home-made dresses
C. Find appropriate temporary shelving to use until we remodel.

5. Begin designing Susan's Craft Room
A. Buy more lighting fixtures
B. Be willing to get rid of craft paper I know I will never use because it's not my style.
C. Rearrange furniture / bring down cabinet DONE 8/9/16
D. Finished buying about 14 photo boxes to organize all my pictures in prep of making Shutter Fly books and enabling me to GET RID OF the old bulky photo albums. 8/30/16
E. Uploaded Wedding Photos to computer so I can make a Shutterfly book. Got rid of old wedding albums. 8/16 (woohoo!)

I'm going to make myself at home on this team, even though it's my first day here, and make a place to post our list of projects we must do in our homes and properties.

I suggest that this not be a 'conversational' place but a place for each of us to have our OWN POST. List the projects you plan or need to get done. Then come back and write the date that you achieved that goal, by Editing your own personal post!
