I looked at mine and really only one thing has changed....looking for a job. I pretty quit looking, althought I wouldn't mind a part time job to help pay my bills and have some extra money.

My hobbies I've added butterfly monitoring which is volunteer and it is kind of fun romping through some brush out in the fields. Only think I don't like is the thought of getting a tick on me!

Still need to come up with a menu. Not doing that at all. I want to start buying some different things to eat that are healthy, like quinoa. I have had it in prepared/manfucatured food, but not in home cooking. I have a recipe for a "cookie" that uses it and it sounds good.

My goals are simple and few .
1) Get down to my first goal weight of 170 pounds and decide whether I can be comfortable there or go a bit lower maxing out 165.
2)MAINTAINING that goal weight for the year and beyond .

** Contentment is not the fullfillment of what you want but the realization of what you already have.

I should have my comprehensive list of goals figured out by Saturday . I keep revising I don't want an unwieldy list but I want one long enough to be substantial.

I will volunteer less and make more time for myself.

I will cultivate some budding friendships.

I will continue to advance my photography and photo editing skills.

My goals for 2011:
~to lose 10 lbs in 10 weeks.

~to get financial stable - start tracking spending on a daily basis and keeping a running total of debt as it disappears!

~start working on weekly menus for myself - learn new recipes, make shopping lists and try to use as many coupons as I can to keep cost down.

~find a inexpensive new hobby that fits in with my time - checking out the park systems again

~continue the job hunt.

~get organized and simplify.

The New Year is almost here and I thought I would post some new thread and revive some old one that we have in this forum.

We have the "Minutes, Miles, and Step Challenge" thread that no one has posted on in a while. Let's get back at it! Move it, Move it, Move it!! Walk those dogs!! We also have the "How Do You "Measure Up" thread. This was posted so that you could take measurements of your body to see what you have lost. Remember you may not have lost in weight, but you may have lost in inches!! If you want to post you loss there, great!!

I think I will post a new thread for losing 10 lbs in 10 weeks? That would take us to the week ending March 12th. 1 lbs a week is a reasonable weight loss goal.

What are your goals for 2011? Start out with small ones to meet your annual goal. It doesn't even have to be health/weight related.
