I'm here - I will accept the fiber challenge. I had a protein /fiber shake for breakfast this morning, a salad and granola bar for lunch, so I am on track for today. Great job on the wall pushups and staying in your calorie range!!

OK - I have done both the wall pushups and the calorie range all week. If anyone is out there, here is a new challenge:

Get enough fiber for 3 days.


Life is a roller coaster! Be that person who holds someone hand in the dark tunnel and shares a knowing look up the high peaks. Most of all, be that person who throws hands up in the air and screams for joy!

I am happy to report that I did crunches on my stability ball 2 days in a row, ate lots of salad. Healthy foods - veggies, fruit, whole grains, lower fat dairy, lean meats, occasional dark chocolate, nuts in moderation. I haven't had candy 3 weeks exactly - a new record. OK - new challenge - 10 pushups - whether they are regular or wall - what ever you can do. Stay within your calorie range for 3 days in a row. (Yes - this means the weekend!!) Good luck! : )

1 and 2 i should be able to do,3 out though.

you can always do my nr three for me as well missy it will help you build up your core and give your family a laugh at the same time(just joking)have fun with the core.

Oh man the core work!! I really need that one!! My core muscles are the weakest part of me!! No kidding!! When I got to a part in my exercise routine and it was time for them it was actually funny how few I could do!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Yea I need to work on them!! Thanks Karen for the extra little push!

As for the others, I am in a routine with my workouts I will be trying new yoga on Friday does that count? & what do you consider 'healthy food'?

Yes - Karen - some of these challenges won't be for you - hope your recovery comes soon - and not the whole year!!!
The next couple days challenges - 1. try out a new exercise. 2. Try a new healthy food. 3. do some extra core work - sit ups or squats. Have a great week all! : )

Since my computer is acting up, I will post challenges for the next couple of days in case I can't get back on. Today - get your 10,000 steps in, or if you don't have a pedometer, and extra half hour walk. Tomorrow, work on getting 8 glasses of water in.
Did anyone have success on the 5 servings of fruit/veggies? I did! : )

not too goodkris,been the whole day at radiology and then in neuclear medicine.turns out i have several subsegmentale embolien in my right lung.that is the reason i am having so much problem with my breathing.at the moment they are not dangerous as they are in the capillaries and not the artery but that can change(it is what my dad died off.)have to take some blood thinning medicine.will know more tomorrow.thanks for asking though.havent got all my fruit and veggies in i am afraid been a stressful day and been not good eating i am afraid.better luck tomorrow inshallah.

I love my sleep!! My husband picks on me about how much I can sleep. I function soooo much better when I get my 8 a night!! It is something go for every night. My oldest son is like me, he loves his sleep too! Now my Sammy, he has a harder time sleeping. He likes it but it's harder for him.

Let's go with 8 hours total - because, I too am having difficulties getting in 8 straight - hot flashes for me! So - tomorrows challenge will be get in your 5 servings of veggies/fruit.

i am always up for a challange kris you know that.one question this 7-8 hours sleep must that consecative or can it be spread out over the day.only asked as i am sleeping alot more than that at the moment,mainly because of all the blood i lost in the op.even though i am having iron injections everyday i still get tired easily and have more catnaps.because the dr has also put me on directics because of the water retention i seem to be getting since the op i am waking up often to go to loo.so even though i am sleeping more than them hours at the moment(good job the kids arent here or i would be even more caput than i feel now)it is not consecative.
