Hi Nancy! I was about to post my goals when I read your post. I am exactly the same way! I've been doing the other things and the coaching every day, but I still haven't added in the exercise. I have been pretty motivated since I recommitted a few weeks ago. I track my food every day and I walk through my coaching session every day. My struggle has been trying to MOVE every day. I'm hoping by following this 10-minute Exercise Challenge I can start really making fitness a strong part of my program. :)

My fitness is all over the place and I end up pulling together whatever I did at the end of the day. I want to make this 10 minutes intentional and focused. I can't believe I've been on Spark for over 10 years and have not joined this team before. I know I started with 10 minutes a day in 2009.

Someone posted on FB the other day "what are you doing to stay in shape at home?". SO many replies of good fitness routines. I realized I really need to get up and get moving. I have an elliptical Sparkpeople workouts and a subscription to another exercise site. No more excuses.

I miss the gym. I has felt as though if I couldn't get to the gym everyday than I just was going to exercise. I have an hour or nothing mentality.

So, my goal is just 10 - 20 minutes a day. Walk, run, lift, I don't care just get in the habit of doing something/anything again.

I do well exercising until I don't, then time slides by and next thing I see is it's been a week or more without exercising. That's why I joined/rejoined team. I want consistency, week in-week out, every week.

walking has been fit into my life for years now so yeah the yoga chair thing maybe but I think getting stretches in would be easier. so stretching and making longer walks in the am before everyone wakes would be great especially if I can do a cheat day and bring back some donuts or a special breakfast for everyone during my walk. the warmer meals will have to be reheated but I still think it would be a great motivator

I walk 4-5 miles each day. I want to add 10 minutes of pedal exercising with my arms each day by June. For my 1st week I will add two days of pedal exercising for 10 minutes each session.

My goal is to get at least 10 min of exercise each day. Right now I'm reaching that goal by walking or watching a Leslie Sansome Walking Tape. My Fitbit one records the exercise minutes for the walk, but it does not consider the walking tape exercise. So I manually enter the minutes and I don't enter anything for the calories since the Fitbit records that. The Fitbit One does record the steps while doing the walking tape.

I am getting in on this late - I apologize. I have had two heart caths this year, and one stent, so I need more exercise. I am trying to get at least a little exercise every day, before the stent I had trouble walking at all and breathing at the same time - now I can breathe and walk at the same time - big improvement.

So my goal is at least 5000 steps a day, and I am working with a trainer once a week for strength training.

It's been a week and able to stay on plan especially through Thanksgiving by staying determined, committed and focused. Down 4 lbs in the first week and ready for this week.

My fitness goal is to dance for 10 minutes each day to new music (at least new to *me* music), or take a brisk walk outdoors with my dog and my partner. These fitness goals serve me in multiple ways, and some of them can benefit other living beings (which makes it more likely that I'll stick to doing it).

In addition, I want to track my food at least once every day for 7 days. I'm not making strict requirements about accuracy, because I'm a perfectionist and I don't want to spend every minute being anxious about accuracy...I know me and things will be very accurate without sweating it.

My fitness goal, at this time, is to walk the dog during my lunch break. Both of us will benefit from this activity. I do not intend to walk outside when it is actively raining; however, I do intend to walk when it is snowing or in between rain showers. emoticon

In addition, I will continue to document/track my fluid and nutrition intake on the nutrition tracker. As an older, mostly sedentary, short person my caloric needs are not as much as they were when I was younger. As such, it is easy for me to exceed my caloric needs if I am not tracking. emoticon

I started the challenge today. I walked for 10 minutes with a 2 minute break in between the 5 minute marks. This is really good for me. I haven't been able to exercise for the past 7 months. I felt really good after my walk today. I am hoping to go for a 5-10 minute walk each day this week. I want to do it at least 5 days out of the upcoming week.

Moved the furniture to the garage onThursday, got the carpets cleaned on Friday, took a 40-minute walk on Saturday, moved the furniture back in on Sunday, back to normal on Monday with very sore muscles.
Did 20 min of cardio, and 12 minutes of core today.
I am so happy to be back!

My goal for the next four weeks is to exercise at least 10 minutes per day, every day. My goal is to build consistency with regard to exercise. I went out for a walk yesterday for 10 minutes, found I enjoyed it and ended up walking for 25 minutes. Woohoo!

I want to start a yoga practice - a serious one this time! So, with that in mind, my 10 minute per day exercise will be yoga for the next 30 days. I don't have a smart TV so I can't get SparkPeople videos on it, but hopefully I can find something on youtube or amazon prime, because they are on my roku. Any suggestions? If anybody knows of a 10 minute yoga program, that would be perfect! Thanks! Namaste.

I am doing the 28 day exercise challenge to get at least 10 minutes of exercise in every day. For the remainder of the 30 days I will walk for at least 10 minutes.

This week I will walk for at least 10 minutes a day. I meet with doctor at end of week and will discuss with her if i am able to do more.

Hey I will 60 May 24th, and I will lose weight! so @jebo I will join you for your 10 minute band workout, which one are you gonna do! I will pick one form the Spark Videos

My main problem is to keep going!! But I can do it for a week! I will also do my Hula Hoop, And FitBoard for five minutes each day! I think that s doable!!

I weighed 188.8 this morning and I am 57.5

I am finally recording my goals and I have been doing them faithfuly all week. I'm just not very good at working the "team thing". Sorry... Anyway I am doing my 5000 steps every day which doesn't sound like much but I have had 2 knee replacements and 2 hip replacements and I just don't want to wear them out. I'm 74 and want to make them last. LOL I ride my recumbent bike for 15 min. 4 days a week and do strengthening exercises 3 days a week.

My goal is to start earlier in the day than later. After exercising I always wonder why I didn't do it sooner because my mood and attention span is so much better. I would like to increase my heart rate during cardio.

Hi, day 7 for me. I need to get fitter (I'll be 70 in August). I've managed to walk 30 minutes every day except today (raining), so did 15 minute video with a Ball I brought today when I was getting some new Walking Boots. It was harder than it looked. 10 minutes a day, how hard can that be.
