Nancy Jean, you are absolutely right about the added energy. I can hardly believe how much more I am able to do in a day in such a short time!

Walking has really been perfect for me. Yesterday I walked in the morning and last night slept deeply - so deeply that I woke my husband up by sleep talking about dried fruit! At any rate, I am now making a real effort to walk in the morning as it makes a significant difference in my sleep. For someone with chronic insomnia, this is huge.

Also, being outside walking is just good for my soul, I think. The leaves are still changing and it's just so beautiful.

I did not sleep quite so well last night, but still better than usual for me.I didn't get my walk until the late afternoon yesterday, so that may be why.

The bonus of all this heavy housecleaning is that my house is getting much more organized and clean! I am so proud of my closet right now. emoticon

I am going for a walk this morning after my doctor's appointment.

Lulu,

Any exercise, no mater when it's done, will help with your sleeping patterns! I love it when I work out during the day and SLEEP through the night, which was unheard of from me, until I started getting God's Temple into Shape and Divine Order! ENJOY your sleep!

Blessings!

Yesterday I did so much running around (grocery shopping, housecleaning, etc) that I fell asleep early and slept through the night - almost unheard of for me. I am wondering if walking in the morning helps with insomnia...At any rate, I am walking again this morning and hoping for another good night's sleep tonight!

Dwayne,

I like the fact that you're listening to your body! When you do that, it will never let you down! The weather changing so drastically, will try to put any normal person down. Keep listening to your body and plan your workouts and everything else accordingly!

Blessings!

Going to do another in-home workout and a couple walks with the dog. I'm feeling like the
change in weather, finally, has gotten to me. Not going to stop though, I don't feel that bad, just trying to stay ahead.

Hope all of you are well...keep the streak alive!

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

This is day 9 of my streak and I have already taken the dog for a walk this morning. My goal today is to get another 10 minutes in - whether it's another short walk or something else. I noticed today how much easier this walk has gotten in the last 2.5 weeks. emoticon

Today's going to be a home workout during football. Goal is 60 minutes and my daily streak is at 13 days and moving forward.

Take care all,

Lulu,

Look at you go, young lady!!! You're even getting your DH into the picture, and as he sees you doing more and toning and losing more, he's right there wanting to do more, also!

Keep up the good work, as it shows in your postings with your new found attitude and you enlighten others to follow suit!

Blessings!

I read the two articles on how to add more activity into my everyday life. Last night, I went to the grocery and parked in the farthest space from the store. I have been trying to just get up and do more- get my husband a glass of water instead of waiting for him to get it, picking up something that needs moving to another room instead of waiting for things to pile up.

Today it's really cold, so I am going to wait until the middle of the day for my walk, but I like having this streak going and don't want it to end.

Yesterday my husband and I went out in the country. It was beautiful.
