wow that is really wonderful way to incorporate exercise into ur daily core.. I ll also try to implement few of these.


i visit my daughter to her daycare twice a day.. 500 mt away from my office. i walk that distance.
and i take 14 flights stair. twice while coming back from visit + morning once when coming to office.

there are the changes i made since last 2 weeks..

Today's work out was mostly looking for a lost golf disk emoticon . Not my favorite activity but it did get 90 min of walking in. emoticon I much prefer playing the game!

I have also enjoyed a bit of gardening in our lovely Cali weather emoticon and some impromptu dancing emoticon (watched the Buddy Holly story with the family tonight.)

I also checked out some of the "chair" exercises which can be done at your desk, while watching TV, a few even while driving/sitting in traffic. emoticon So lots of ways to sneak it in! emoticon

It is great to think of ways to exercise as there are so many.

Another way is to take the long way from room to room even if it only add 6 steps it helps.

I love all of these exercises I see, as you go about cleaning the home, doing laundry, and talking on the phone! emoticon Way to go EVERYBODY!!!! Some of these I'll have to adapt for myself, after I heal! Thanks for enabling me!!!!

All great ideas! I now park way far away at the grocery store, etc. and try to take the basket all the way back to the store, if possible.
At home when I do laundry I am just as "inefficient" as you! It makes a difference, doesn't it?

Hi!
Here's how I've been adding exercises.

1. When I empty the dishwasher, I slowly squat instead of bending over to get the dishes out. Then I either slow squat again to put them on low shelves or do a calf raise to the above waist shelves, even if I don't need to stand on my toes.

2. Before and after I fill and empty each the washer and dryer I'll do five slow plies and five slow backward left lifts with each leg. So, emptying and filling both once results in twenty plies and twenty backward leg lifts with each leg, and a little break in between.

3. I stand and march in place as I fold laundry, then I've been taking armfuls to put away instead of waiting to fill the whole basket.
