O.K. PR4000,

Now there are 3 people who don't know what "Pickle Ball" is. Are you going to tell us or do we have to "suffer with the unknowing..." LOL! Couldn't stand it anymore so I Googled it...
AHHH! Now that's a good workout.

Got in 45 minutes of cardio and 60+ minutes of lower body work today.

Until next time,

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

Ok for me. I am happy to say that I have just completed 2 weeks on my new program and I feel more energized and committed to stick with it. I have started to play Pickle Ball - anyone out there play this game. It is a lot of fun and a great way to exercise (if you can).

CANNONSMC, that's so nice and a good way to get it in. I am afraid of dogs so that would not agree with me.

CANNONSMC,

I can't tell you how much I think of that idea...I'm thinking it borders on "true genius"! What an awesome idea and so great for all the pups that are locked up every day for so long. Truly inspirational. And getting your daughter involved gives her the inspiration to keep exercising as a part of life. Truly brilliant!

Off to the gym now to start my "mash-up week" and switch around my routine to avoid the boredom that sets in...especially for me. Will post how it goes next Sunday.

Take care,

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

I completed week 2 of 10 minutes per day. Don't have a dog to walk but want some time with animals who need love? One of my ways to walk once a week is to volunteer at my local animal shelter. Did you know that most animal shelters use volunteers to walk the dogs? By volunteering to walk the dogs once a week, I help keep these dogs socialized, do a good deed to help abandoned animals, and get some exercise for myself. My daughter goes, too. So that's an added bonus: mother/daughter time. Once you make a volunteer commitment like that you don't want to let people or the animals down--plus you meet other animal-loving people.
