I started riding my cardio bike while watching videos on YouTube. It makes it so much more interesting.

May I always be the kind of person that my dog thinks I am.

Normally, I walk in the house for a hour, I only walked for 30 minutes today. Too much on my
plate today, financially & I'm a little depressed. Enough of that! I've lost 41 lbs. I've started

Okay, instead of just power walking the halls at the VA Hospital, I powered up and down 7 flights of stairs. Now mind you each flight of stairs had 10 stairs a landing and then another 10 stairs and that's one flight. YIKES my legs were burning!

Blessings!

Have had resistance bands for years in a drawer. Pulled them out today and did a 20 minute resistance band workout from SP video Library. Will finally put the bands to good use!

The most creative I was for week 2 was trying new videos on YouTube, instead of my standbys

Carolyn,

Don't be concerned about the activities on the calendar, as I wasn't able to do most of them, when I had taken on this challenge. I did modify some, to help me out, but I mostly did walking. Concentrate on your 10 minutes and you'll be fine. To get some extra steps in, try this, which is what I do:

1. Move one thing at a time from one room to the other.
2. While talking on the phone, march in place, or if it's a cell or cordless, walk around the house.
3. I don't use a dishwasher, so when I wash my dishes, I march in place.

I'm sure you can think of some other things to do also. Every little bit helps!

Blessings!

Well, I'm not too creative in exercising. I read the calendar and many of those activities I am unable to do or don't have the occasion to do. I am doing well with my 10 minutes of exercise streak. I do it by walking in my home. At the same time I am moving things from one room to another, cleaning up. I'm not just standing there watching TV while walking. I have been using a pedometer again but I don't get many steps yet. Yesterday I restarted my knee exercise. One of my knees is stiff and won't totally bend because of a previous knee injury.
I'm glad I joined this team.
