I did my SP strength training, a new routine from what I normally do, to shake things up. Then I jumped on the treadmill with no incline today since I had on the Shape Ups. I did 15 minutes at 3.2mph, then the phone rang. When I got back on the treadmill it wouldn't start up----one of the effects of it being old...kind of like me, lol. But it was a 40 minute workout for today and i'm so glad!

I wasn't able to get up and get my 10 minutes in yesterday or today (probably not for the rest of the week since my daughter has an early camp check in time) but I went to the mall and spent 15 minutes walking around. At a pretty good pace, I was actually a little breathless by the end of the 15 min!

Today I plan on getting on the court and shagging (chasing) balls for the volleyball team during open gym.

I haven't tried a video yet but plan to tomorrow. Last week I didn't do so well which was reflected in my weigh in today. I started fresh yesterday and feel good about this week!!

Today begins Week 3 for me. I bought some Sketchers Shape Ups last night and will do my walk on the treadmill to see how they do. I've bookmarked a new SP workout regime and will make 2 new SP recipes this week. I haven't weighed yet---there's never a downward trend, but I'll do it next week!

I've been ignoring my treadmill lately. The weather had been nice to walk outside but it started raining Saturday night and was still raining when I went to bed Monday night. So yesterday I got on the treadmill and did intervals, I turned a good movie on and did the workout. I actually enjoyed the workout, the intervals kept it interesting and the movie kept me entertained.

I've been doing a lot of treadmill walking since it's been in the 90's here. I also brought some leslie sansone and kathy smith walking videos so I can walk in the house and not endure the heat outside.

I've just done my exhaustion test today to start week 3 tomorrow (changed my days, just for this week) and managed 17 push ups in a oner. 2 weeks ago, my first test, I managed 4 - what a difference. I'll still be on the lowest numbers, but what dose that matter if that let's me cope with it.
And - I am enjoying it. I hope you do too.

My something fun workout was walking 40 mins with a friend along the beautiful trails of a golf course and I tried a new class!

Pilates!! yay love it!!
I'm going to add crunchless core to my workout as well today!

I decided to take a break today. The heat is horrible. It's over 95 in our house and I just can't get going. So a break it is.
But I've already walked for over 30 minutes so I still got in "some exercise."

Won a Sparks DVD on the login wheel so I have been trying Coach Nicole's workouts. Perfect for this challenge - 10-15 min goes by quickly!

I have Gilad's 15 Targeted Express Workouts and I absolutely love it. I've noticed that I'm able to maintain a higher intensity (according to the HRM) with his cardio than even the 10 minute solution's cardio kickboxing.

I pulled out my Spark Cardio Workout DVD this week. It fits in perfectly because they're 10 minute segments. I did one a day on those. Plus with the warm weather I'm walking my dog Bella 2 times a day now instead of once. My pedometer steps are sure adding up.

I am about 1/2 through my 3rd week and I am doing well. I have lost another pound, making, a total of 12 pounds so far. emoticon for me!!!

One way I've added more variety is by doing these awesome 10 min. workouts on a new video I got. It's called Gilad's Ten Minute Targeted Workouts and they are so great! There are strength, cardio, flexibility, everything you can think of. I look forward to them because you REALLY get a good little workout in, but it's also really fun. It's challenging too, but that's what makes it fun.

I don't do workout videos anymore, because I never stick with them. Instead, I do Zumba moves while I'm waiting in line for something, walking to the mailbox, or whatever. I just find a way to fit it into my everyday life, and that's working for me!

I love Coach Nicole's videos! My absolute favorites are the jump rope video (minus the rope for me!) and the 20 minute dumbbell video. This week though, I think I'll try a couple of the others...

I have been doing the 10 min exercises. I just love them, because I can do 10 minutes, then if I feel strong enough, I can do another 10 minutes later. I am feeling more energetic everyday. emoticon

I have tried a few of Coach Nicole's videos. One of the things that makes it accessible is that I can do them in my office and don't have to go outside. You know it is bad when the newscasters are telling you to stay indoors unless you HAVE to be out there. And encouraging you to drink lots and lots of water.

I have the Fit, Firm and Fired up DVD. I like it.
I also have the 10 minute solution Cardio kickboxing--love it.
Then I just bought Gilad's Express workout DVD's They run 8-10 minutes. These keep my heart rate up.
