I am on week three, going away Christmas Eve until Saturday to spend it with our daughters and their families. Will really have to work at getting in walks to keep up with challenge.

I have joined a gym and went twice this week. Next week will be more. I have moved past the videos and onto more in my enviroment. I go for walks at lunch unless the weather has been bad, which it was alot this week.

I think I'm nearing the end of Week 3 so I'll share that for me that any form of exercise is fun. I didn't work out much growing up so this is a wonderful experience for me.I incorporate walking around the city, sometimes with my dog, and I have an adventure every time I walk to the gym early in the morning. I observe people coming out of bars and being carefree and I tell myself that I am in training for my life and that is why my reality is different. Instead of hanging out in a bar I choose to be kind to my body and mind and work out. I also enjoy surfing YouTube for fun workouts to do on Sundays. Something different to do on my rest day.

I love my walking routine and actually look forward to it each day. However, as the weather gets colder I will be switching to indoor options: rowing machine and stationary bike. All these workouts work for me so I see no reason to change and mess with something that works. (If it isn't broken, why mess with it?)

I joined a FB challenge which begins today. 2 miles every day for 30 days. Must post documentation of mileage by midnight daily in order to continue with the challenge. I am looking forward to this challenge so it can solidify my consistency in exercise.

I have found that if I check my tracker right away in the morning that I did something I will do it, cause if I don't it would be like lying. So I check all my 10 min activities and then I work hard to get them done.
