Aww,

You did better than me, as the day before my 5Ks I wouldn't do any exercising at all. I know that you would rather be outside, but you'll make it work wherever they have you! God's speed and go get 'em young lady!

I only walked for 15 minutes today. Getting rested up for the 5 k race. Trying to figure out where I am going to run it. I am praying that I can run it on Saturday, because do not want to run it at the gym on the treadmill or around the track. I like to run outside. But if I have to run it at the gym around the track, I will just have to do that and make it work. emoticon

Yesterday was walking and step aerobics. I don't know what today will bring, as of yet, but I do know that it will be all GOLD!

I was going to do more but my little Grandson was celebrating his 2nd birthday, so could not miss his party. I bought him a Tonka dump trunk so he could dig in his play area in my back yard. Pops, bought him some cute overalls and camo pants.

Yes, it doe appear that we're getting so much walking in. Well, I've been told that walking is the best exercise that I can do, so I'll be happy to do what is so good for me, and try and sprinkle a bit of something else in there along the way!

Hi all, looks like we are doing a lot of walking. I did 30 minutes of walking (10 minutes and then 20 minutes)
60 minutes at my gym class. (very good workout.)

I was going to run for the 5K training, but thought I would get that in tomorrow. My run days are Tuesday, Thursday I think my Race day is soon. I will have to check my schedule.

Today's exercise is to be a 30 minute walk (walk your way to a 5K) and a video from SparkPeople (7-day Bootcamp Workout, Day 2). 25 minutes of the walk are completed (I ran some of it).

That's a good idea. I don't live near a mall I would walk inside if I could. I just love getting up and getting the dog out and getting it done. It's so good for both of us!

It is hard to walk in the winter time, but I walk around the floors at work for lunch then I ride my bike inside on the stand that helps me out a lot

I feel that I've been 'slacking' by doing the ho-hum DVD workouts that I've stuck with over the years. Using the Spark Tracker and setting out to get a 10 minute 'walk-event' has motivated me to get out there and DO it! I enjoy the way I've been feeling, and hope to continue this way indefinitely.
I am concerned when cold weather and icy roads are here I won't be able to walk in the morning like I do now; right out the door with the dog and away we go; that is HARD in the winter time! BUT I am hopeful that with the suggestions and support and encouragement I'll get here at Spark People I'll find a way to keep going on into next spring (and beyond).
