I'm joining because I'm tired of making excuses why I can't exercise. If I'm ever going to be healthy and reach my goal weight, I HAVE TO change my lifestyle. I'm hoping joining this challenge will help kick start that life change and teach me some easy to maintain daily routines.

(p.s. I've been watching "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Addition". I'm not morbidly obese, but I'm still learning a lot about how I need to take care of myself.)

Hello :) I am here because I need to gather some highly motivated friends around me to encourage me to get a work out in each and every day. I know how support is critical to success - and often feel very alone in my journey even though I know a ton of others also on the same path. I have also just finished a 24 day challenge toward changing my eating habits, and had pretty good success - about 10lbs in that time. While I am ECSTATIC with those results, I know that my very lethargic lifestyle was the barrier to even greater success.

So, my goals for the next 4 weeks are: 1) to complete the challenge, 2) to find others online for support who are in the same 'space' as I am (motivated an ready to make lasting changes), and 3) to find a new way everyday to get myself moving.

I joined to help me get more motivated to hit my first goal and drop 12 more pounds by September when I leave for a womens conference and also to help me workout EVERY day. I love a challenge and the competitor in me is wanting to succeed!!!

This is the hard part for me. I know I want to look better. (Although, most people don't see the extra weight as I "carry" it well.) I know I used to be stronger and I get frustrated when it's really hard to do something that used to be easy and routine. That said, the goal that will help with both of those is consistent strength training. I run 4.5 to 5 miles twice a week and do a shorter run once a week so cardio is getting done. OK, my goal for the 28-Day Bootcamp is: To develop a CONSISTENT workout program and do some form of strength training at least 3 days a week.

I decided to join this team because I just got back from vacation... I ate somewhat off plan on vacation and gained about 3 lbs... however after being back for two weeks now I have gained another 2 lbs and it is just because of my laxidasical attitude about getting back to being serious. I do not want to gain more back... I felt so much better when I was eating on plan doing exercises and walking every day. I had joined and completed the spring into fitness challenge before going on vacation so I know that I can do this. Its the staying motivated....
Heck all i have to lose is some more of this extra weight that I have allowed to join me on this journey called Life!!! I can and I will do this and I will complete this challenge.

Sunday was the end of Week 1 ! I have enjoyed the daily videos...even though I wasn't very strong in some of them...I did complete them at my level. Looking forward to a stronger week 2. Had some great hikes, walks, canoe, hula hooping and bike rides for the cardio.

My goals for week one is to be consistent with my tracking, whether it be food, exercise, water, or sleep. I add a video to my daily routine and make conscious decisions as far as my nutrition...that is my down fall. I work out regularly, but I eat what I want.....not so good at 39! emoticon

Hi, I saw this challenge and at first thought I couldn't do it, because I was a part of another team, but I think the two can mesh perfectly together-that one will be my cardio part for this one. I am really hoping to see some progress here soon. I have a goal to lose 10 pounds by August 11th and the scale has not budged, so I really have to up my game so to speak to get there! Since May 1st I have lost 15 pounds by doing the following: being true to two challenges (Official Spring into Shape Bootcamp & Official 28-Day Bootcamp) and following My Nutrition Tracker religiously. I love the discipline of the Official Bootcamp format; it keeps me on task.
I wrote on my Sparkpage that I wanted to lose that last ten pounds. Phooey! Let's make it 21 and done!

P.S. Instead of the prescribed 30 minutes of cardio, I usually do 62 minutes (brisk walks).

I love this website! Shout it from the mountaintop! (after we've hiked up there!)

Hello everyone! I am joining this group because it seems fun and I own a pair of walking dumbbells. It might be hard time wise I am already committed to walking 10 miles a day.

My Goal for the 28 day challenge will pair with other goals like TO EAT MORE.. man that one is hard. I just cant imagine eating all the food suggested each day. I hope to start loosing more weight as I learn to eat every day and I hope a healthy exercise plan will help and boost my metabolism so i am hungry more often.

I hope to loose 1-2kg a week and be at my goal weight by November. I wish it could be sooner but ive been at this with a whole heart so long I wanted to be at my goal weight by april but 6 months of exercising regularly did nothing.. but I really think its because i dont eat every day. I suppose I really sabotaged myself. Very sad.

Hello! I'm excited to be starting this 28 day bootcamp challenge! I've always had a problem keeping up with a workout, so I'm hoping that this will teach me to work out consistency and jump start my weight loss! emoticon

I'm also looking to lose 2-3 lbs per week with the amount of calories I am no longer eating! :)

Overall goal is to live a healther, active life :)
