My goal is to get off to a strong start. I've been back and forth for so long and barely get started before slacking off. Hopefully this challenge will give me some more incentive to do the work and keep up with it, not matter how tired I get. I'm hoping for an overall 'good' feeling by the end of the week. emoticon

My goals are to lose some weight, tone my body and get moving! I've lost some weight through diet alone, but it's time for me to be more active!
My biggest goal is to stick with this 28-Day Challenge!

My goal is to get tone and to complete this challenge. I have been walking almost every day since the 3 week in May. But I need to add some toning to my exercise routine.

My goal is to get back on track! I lost motivation when I didn't see a difference on the scale. I stopped working out but I want to start again! Instead of waiting for tomorrow or for some miracle, I'm going to commit to this challenge and start a new healthy habit.

My only goal right now to start with is to complete this Challenge and start adding daily exercise to my every day routine. I'd love to see some weight loss and inches lost as well, but I'm not putting a number figure down on that right now. Just want to start a routine.

My goal is to find a way to exercise in spite of heel pain that won't go away. I also want to get control of what I'm eating and not eat out as much over the next month. I know that whatever comes of reaching these goals will be good for me...weight loss or not...

My Goal is to lose between 40-50 pounds. I'd also like to be able to run a 5K by the end of summer. I have been working out an average of 3-4 days per week, would also like to kick that up to 5-6 days.

I want to lose 12 lbs by end of August, very do-able normally but taking insulin decreases my weight loss. I was on the diabetic programme but my A1C are good, just need to lose weight and feel this programme is a bit more intensive. Starting at 165 lbs.

My goal is to drop 5 to 10 pounds in the next four weeks for starters. I'm 5'1" and at 149. I feel much better when I'm lighter. I'm feeling the extra weight on my knees. Also, heart disease along with diabetes runs in my family. I'm Type 2 diabetic and want to maintain control of this and eventually not be on any medication.

My goal is to finally kick myself into gear when it comes to a healthier me. I have the tendency to start strong and taper off a few weeks into eating healthy and exercising regularly, so I need something that will help me keep on track and work towards a positive goal and I figure this is a good place to start.

Hi! I'm starting the 28 Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge as a way of giving my weight loss a dramatic boost. I think this will give me the encouragement to keep going. I usually have a tendency to give up after a couple of weeks of being very consistent with exercise and eating right. I'm not going to quit trying to reach my goal weight though. I will be successful!!

I want to be all that I am capable of becoming.

Hello! I'm joining this challenge so that I can make exercise a priority, not an afterthought. I'm doing better with food choices, but exercising seems to get put far down on my to-do list. Time for some positive changes!

Hi all! I have about 100 pounds to lose total, but I'm kickstarting the summer with the 28-Day Bootcamp and a new eating plan that includes fresh freggie juice for 1-2 meals a day. My goal is to lose at least 10 pounds before early July, when I'm presenting at a national conference with my boss in San Diego!
Good luck to all!

Michele

Hi
I am joining the 28 day boot camp challenge to get used to strength training. The last time I lost weight I only did cardio and didn't keep that up either after getting to my goal weight. This time around I want to add different types to exercise into my workouts.
Thanks!

Hi, everyone!
My name is La Tonya and I am starting the official 28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge this week. I'm horrible at following through with challenges and goals. So, my challenge as I approach my 42nd birth year is to follow through, eat healthier, and lose some unwanted pounds. I look forward to reading your stories and sharing in your success as you cheer me on, too!

Hi, my name is Laurie. I've been away from Sparkpeople for a while. My goals are: ease back into strength training, build up cardio strength/stamina, stop sitting on my butt so much. I went for a hike with my daughter yesterday and realized how out of shape I have become. I would like to hike/climb more often without feeling like I've been trampled on by a horse.

Hi everyone, my name is Salena. I currently am a college student who works full time with psychiatric patients. I joined this challenge because I would like to get back to exercising everyday. I have been going two to three times a week and I would like to increase my workouts throughout the week. I have been getting lazy lately sitting on the couch or desk. My goals for this challenge is to stick with going to the gym everyday even if I am tired.

My main goal for this challenge is simply to stick with it. I feel like I do better exercising if I have a set plan and a way to be accountable. I have completed the 10 Minute Daily Exercise Challenge and Spring Into Shape Challenge over the past 2 months and have been more consistent with exercising than ever before.

I have been a part of this challenge before, but lost track for a month or so. I am rejoining because I already know it is a great routine that will kick-start me back into working out every day. I'm already down 30 pounds and feel wonderful! These challenges really work to keep me motivated and provide quick workouts I can fit into my daily routine. My goal right now is simply to get back to working out every day.

Hey, I'm here because, after losing alot of weight 2 years ago, it's now starting to creep back on me. My first goal, is that I want to get back on board with my exercise, which I've neglected due to school. I'm hoping to use exercise rather than snacking to deal with my stress. My second goal is to of course, eat healthier and get back to my goal weight which is around 130 lbs. My third goal, is that I also want to get in really good shape before I get married next year. :)

Hi! I am joining this challenge to keep me motivated. It takes 28 days to form a habit and working out is a habit I NEED to get into! I have a physically demanding job which I use as an excuse not to work out however my weight has not gone down doing barn chores alone! Hope this challenge will hold me accountable as well as give me a guide and ultimately satisfaction when i've finished.

If you don't have time to do it correctly now when will you have time to redo it later?

Hello
I joined this challenge because I need a complete exercise program that I can rely on to reach my optimal fitness.
My current fitness level: A lot lower than a beginner.
I'm completely sedentary for a few months.
I want to have exercise habits so normal to me as an everyday task that I don't even think to cancel out of my schedule.
I'm sure I can do it

I've been here before, but didn't complete the challenge. My life got tossed into a blender. :) I honestly feel like I do best when I do 'small' challenges rather than large goals. I just got finished with a 30 day ab challenge. I lost 3.5 inches from my abs and a total of six inches overall. Now it's time to set my next challenge and this is it. :)

I have recently gotten back on the workout wagon. I had fallen off, and fell hard. I want to work back in to a routine and lose the weight and tone at the same time. I was doing a bootcamp and kickboxing class 6 days a week, I was toning but not losing inches or weight. I was recently diagnosed with thyroid issues and have learned that is why I am tired, out of energy and cannot lose weight. I am eager to start back and lose and look good.

I wanted to try out a beginner's weight training workout and of course SparkPeople always has a challenge or 2 to make it interesting. I recently lost some weight but have NO weight training in it....only cardio. I hope to rise up to the challenge of getting my body fit at least until the end of June.
