My motivation today was doing my physical therapy in the pool. I also swam laps. I overdid my water aerobics about a month ago, and experienced knee tendonitis for the first time. Walking funny inevitably put my back out. Then my upper back started to hunch over as I couldn't stand up straight.

I did both upper and lower body physical therapy in the pool; then I swam ten gentle laps.

I also got one of these today ... emoticon . It has a seat on it to for when I need to rest. Now I will go to the museums!

Hi! Things are coming along splendidly. My motivation is: when I lower my blood glucose, I look better and younger. I feel better, too. I was looking really sad there for a while. Also, I was sustaining nerve damage.

It is a difficult balancing act, but I just remind myself not to be too hard on myself when I slip. I do better when I don't set such high standards for myself. I try to work on making peace with my body now, counting carbs, getting some movement, and have just started meditating. It surprised me that my results are better now!

To not ever go back to the horrible bed ridden 460 pound life I once had.

My otivation is my wedding. My Fiance and I set a date today and its 2 years away. I am only 5'4 and I weight over 200, not to mention im only 18. I have bad asthma and I want to be able to breathe and fit into my dream dress on my wedding day. MY fiance beleives in me and always tells me I can do anything. that is a great motivation tanya.hope you have fun and that the family notice the effort you are putting in.

my motivation is the book 100 days of weight loss which i got yestzrday plus inshallah ramadam starts tomorrow so even though i am not fasting myself out of medical reasons there wilol still be the big meals after 9 at night lots of invites out where you are not in control what food they will prepare and of course at the end of ramadam the big relegious festival which also involves food usually lots of its and lots of sweets and cakes.,lol.if that doesnt motivate me to be vigilant and dont know what will

My motivation for today: got a new phone and was playing around with the camera on it. Took a picture of myself looking down at the phone----UUGH! Was it bad, so many rolls in all the wrong places. Now I know it was not a good angle but I want those rolls of fat gone!!!! I did not delete that picture either-now when I think I need that extra helping or extra cookie, I can just pull up that pic and tell myself "NO!"

wow zumba i would really love to do that but the only classes in our atrea are at times when my husband is not there plus it is away away.so as we have no extra money for babysitter i will just have to do my own version at home.lol.i am sure your arms are not so jiggley as you think.but when it motivates go for it.i would personally just wear a short arm t shirt to hide mine emoticon

My motivation today (well it was really from yesterday but I think this one's going to last a while) is that I went to Zumba and ok. I'm not the hippest zumba'er around, but I'm a pretty good dancer and I can funk it up with some of the best when I'm in the mood.

But--the thing is, what I feel like and what I look like are 2 different things. And I can't wait to see how I look doing Zumba when i get to my goal weight. But in particular--my motivation was the sight (in the mirror) of my jiggly upper arms waving around. Of holding my arms out straight, but they don't look straight because they have so much (unnecessary) tissue clinging to them.

so--I keep thinking of having skinnier arms and that is very motivating to me right now.

yes it is progress julieanne,i have had to take off one of my diamond rings as it kept falling off my finger and i was afraid i would loose it.my engagement ring which had to be made bigger and was tight on even be made bigger now stays on my finger only when i have another ring in front of it.the solitar diamond on it keeps moving round to the palm of my hand and i have to keep turning it lol.

my motivation today is my husband gave me my wedding anniversary presant early last night(our 10th anniversary is on the 21 november)it is a crane run 8 treadmill.so now i have really no excuses.

My motivation today is that my pants feel a little loose and i like that feeling! Now--these are pants I haven't worn in a while, and they were never very tight, so maybe that's just how they are, but--it was very motivating to me today to stay on plan to keep that "loose" feeling =)

Also--my wedding ring isn't so tight that I worry it'll get stuck on. That's progress!!
