how long have you been with sp and how did you find spark people?
I've been on since 2006 and found it just looking up weight loss on yahoo.

which are your favorite features on sp?
the teams and challenges, fitness tracker, virtual races, food tracker

how many times have you tried to loose weight before sp?
on and off for years

how far are you in your weight loss journey?
just starting?nearly there?maintaining? I would say I'm in the middle

how much weight have you lost?
74# with 55 more to go

what was your aha moment?what made you decide to get fit and healthy?
the breakup and divorce of my marriage and the opportunity to go on tour with a major recording artist singing backup and doing ariel ballet and silk routines for the show

what has been your biggest obsticle/struggle so far on this journey?
people who I thought were great friends on here that turned their back on me and took the credit for the things I did for another team on a challenge.

what is/are your biggest or most memorible (NSV)non scale victory/victories to date?
fitting into a taylor made suit I wore before I gained all the weight, increased endurance and drive, being able to learn to say no to cravings by telling myself I work too hard to eat that crap. learning to never tell myself I can't have anything as soon as I do I want whatever splurge it is. Finally getting rid of the fat clothes I'm never going back too and fitting in those cute clothes i bought not fitting in them yet. having other members tell me I motivate them. the awesomeness I feel after a hard workout. Losing inches. Eating a lot less and not being hungry. Finding myself that had seemed lost for so long. Seeing pics of myself now and thinking yeah that does look more like the me I remember.

what is a typical days mealplan for you now and how does it differant from before?
when i first joined I just kept in my cal range but this past July and a bit before that I started eating less meat and then became a full vegetarian with some vegan tendencies. My meals vary everyday and being one who doesn't cook Im actually starting to want to get into it now.

what is your favorite healthy food?
too many to name and its constantly changing

what is a typical weeks workout plan for you?
I'm training to run my first 5 k I'm currently doing the 28day bootcamp challenge, I really try to get some fitness in everyday I love the arctrainer and eliptical cycle and I'm really starting to up the ST. I'm also learning to crosstrain.

what is your favorite exercise ?
running or for the time being run/walking. also I love the piloxing class at my gym

if in maintance how do you stop from regaining weight?what is easier losing weight or maintaining?
not there yet

how are you and/or your life differant now to how you are before your fit/healthy life journey?
I am much more confident and I love myself and I'm not at goal yet but I'm liking what I see so far with all the progress I made. I ate whatever before and didn't think now I really try to think about the fuel I put in my body.

what advice would you give to other sparkers that are either new on this journey or who maybe struggling?
Never give up....when you do it is you that has just declared all your hard work a waste of time. reach out to a friend on spark or anywhere. read motivational quotes and remind yourself why you are doing this and that you are so worth it. Also don't think it will be easy but it does get better when you start seeing results.
