Right now my biggest craving is peanut M&M's. We have some in a candy dish and I try not to even start becasue 1 leads to 5 leads to 10 then a handful. I have bought cocoa dusted almonds, hoping I'll get the same 'fix.' I just need to remember to stop and pray when the temptation overwhelms me.

My craving usually comes in the form of cookie dough. I'm not picky...it can be any kind lol...peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, etc. I used to crave the cupcakes from Wal-Mart...the ones with the really good frosting...sigh. I'd like to ask it to please go away. =) Before this study, I would have never given thought to God making us to crave. And I sure haven't tried using scripture to stay away from the cookie dough! This is going to be an interesting study!!

There is a webcast this Monday night Jan 9 at www.madetocrave.org The author and some special guests will be going over some new material. There is also a bible study starting Jan 15 at www.MelissaTaylor.org I followed her study last year and plan to do it again this time around. I always get something new out of the book everytime I read it.

I Found my book.... emoticon How is that for a start???
I still haven't found my car keys on an orange luggage tag which I misplaced 7 weeks ago.
I may be getting some help with the short term memory--losing things problem. At least two of the lost items occurred when I was desperately trying to get to the bathroom to deal with the urgency issue...My doc has just given me Detrol...anyone have advice/success with that??
If I am not emoticon to get to the bathroom, I can take time to put things in their proper place to avoid losing them. emoticon Well, it is a plan anyway!

I just wanted to pass on some info-

Melissa Taylor of Proverbs 31 Ministries is leading a Bible study on Made to Crave through her blog. melissataylor.org/

I hope you will check it out-she has some extra resources available too (a conference call featuring Lysa Terkuerst being one). There will also be a webcast on Jan. 9 at 8pm. The first time I went through the book, I followed her study.

I hope you will check it out.

So Ladies...are you wrapping up the study or have you put it on hold to get ready to celebrate Jesus' birth? I know this is a busy time, but I encourage you to try to finish reading the book, even if it means picking it up in January. I believe you are making great progress and hope you can continue on your journey of drawing closer to God. You are all in my prayers!

Take care and God bless!

SUNSHINE192DAY, I don't use the library much, but I was under the understanding that if you bought a replacement book for the one you lost they would consider it 'even' not including any late charges etc. Could you call and see what their policy is? I was also under the understanding that it is more often than not cheaper to buy a replacement book than to pay the library whatever they charge for lost books.

I just want to send a word of encouragement out - just keep chugging along. I find myself trying to play catch up on Friday nights when I post the questions Sat. morning. Life happens. Keep going at your own pace and get what you can out of the study. That's all that matters. The questions are just for thought and discussion. No pressure.

I hope you are all enjoying the study and getting something out of it. You are all in my prayers.

For me things have been crazy. A co-workers husband just had a liver transplant and so at work I've been busier than usual, we're trying to train our new puppy (still,) and my mother-in-law just came home from the hospital after her appendix burst. Needless to say, I'm behind too.

I have noticed that the posts and comments have seemed less lately too. I think it is sometimes hard not to do with the book readings what we sometimes find ourselves doing with our healthy eating habits. At first its really easy (and even exciting), and then after a while it kind of fades away and becomes less frequent. I keep remembering to read and stuff and then say that I'm too tired or don't have enough time, but when I do make time for it I always benefit from it. I just want to encourage all of you to keep going, even if it seems hard! Even if we are behind, it doesn't mean we are failing, we are all just going at our own paces and that is ok. :) I hope that everyone has a great day!

emoticon Hmmm We have gone very very quiet. Do we need to take a week off??
Are we just so far behind that folks are giving up?? I am far behind and it feels overwhelming and it FEELS like FAILURE.
Are we succeeding with what we know from the last 2 chapters we read?? That is Positive. I still like my body (Ch 8) I am going to take a big breath and read another chapter and have the question answered by Saturday. emoticon

Hello Ladies! How are you all doing? It's been a crazy couple of weeks but after this week, it should slow down. Carter turned 4 last Friday, so we had a small family party and dinner. I still have tumbling with Carter Wed. and Thursday he goes in for his 4 year check up. I need to talk to the pediatrician about his speech too. He doesn't say quite a few of his letters and substitutes a "w" sound. We'll just see what they have to say.
I had an appointment with my psych dr today-just to update my Rx and then I took my MIL to see her sister in the nursing home and out to lunch. It was a nice day, just a lot of driving.
I have been doing well with my eating-portion control is key right now since I can't exercise until my foot heals-1 more week of the boot! WOOHOO! I'm really looking forward to being able to get out and walk with all the beautiful leaves changing.
I seem to be stuck right now, but hope to kick it into gear when I can really start exercising again.
How have you been doing? Still chugging along? I'm going to go back and re-read up to the current chapters and really spend some extra time in study. I haven't even been faithful in my Bible time lately. Time to start anew!

I hope you have a lovely evening!
Take care and God bless!!!

I feel bad that I haven't done my reading in a while! I mean to get back to it today. A lot has happened in the last 2 weeks. My boss was in the hospital losing blood and had 3 bleeding ulcers, so there has been a lot more for me to do and more late days at work. Then just last week my grandpa had a stroke and I have driven 100 miles (one way) to the desert and back 2 times in the past week. I am going to try to make some time to sit down and read and blog today! It always makes me feel better. I hope all of you are doing well!!

Lindsay-thank you so much for your encouragement! I needed the reminder to rely on God even more. I've been relying on myself too much lately and not letting go and letting God. I need to get back on track with Him first then I can get back to eating right and exercising (when the time comes). Thanks again, I needed that!

Hello Tina
I reckon most, if not all, of us here are emotional eaters and your current enforced immobility must make it particularly hard. But then that's when we need God most - He's said that when we're weakest then He can do the most in/with us. So keep calling out to God to sustain and nourish you when you want to reach for the cookie jar (or whatever you long for). This difficult time could be just what you need to help you to rely on God even more and thus grow to even greater maturity in your faith in Jesus.

And I know that I'm speaking to myself just as much as to you when I write that.

Hope it helps.

And I'm hopelessly behind with reading Made to Crave - too much going on at the moment, but I WILL get back to it.

I've come to realize that I am an emotional eater too. Especially right now with my broken foot, I eat when I am bored or stressed. Since I'm pretty limited in my activity, I can't exercise the way I like to and it is very frustrating which makes me snack more. I'm dreading the scale when the boot comes off.

Rebecka-I'm praying for you! I hope you have a better day today.

This study has made me realize how much of an emotional eater I am too and even more importantly how it effects my relationship with Christ.

On a side note. I had it happen again. I had a client tell me yesterday that I should be fired because I didn't know where my boss was. He was in the bathroom and I wasn't going to tell her that. But it didn't bother me nearly as much as the phone call last week. I am tempted to tell my boss 3 strikes and your out or 3 times a charm and the next comment I get like that, I'm outta here. Oh well. I have realized from all this that I have 2 issues (along with all the other issues I already know I have) that I need to examine and work out. #1. I don't take criticism well or 'advise' well. Even constructive criticism and advise I know is right or necessary. #2 I hate it when I can't 'make' someone change their mind about me. These two clients had the wrong idea about me from one phone call and there is a whole lifetime of things that make me who I am.

I'm behind on the study, but I read two chapters on Sunday. The chapter that really spoke to me is the realization that God loves me right now. He's not waiting on me to a weigh a certain amount, not waiting on me to be anything but what He created. Really thinking about that made me think, "Why can't I love myself as I lose weight?" I want to lose weight for my health and overall well-being, but that doesn't mean that right at this moment I can't just be okay with me, too.

This study has also made me realize how much of an emotional eater I am. That's how I gained weight. I have found myself stopping before eating something now to see if I'm really hungry, bored, or whatever. I've also found myself substituting things that I usually would reach for if I'm hungry.

Hello ladies! I hope you are all having a great start to your weekend. Hubby is working at his side job today so it's just me and the kiddos. He'll be home tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have some good family time.

Right now, I'm pretty frustrated since I have to hobble around on this boot for another week. My foot is healing, I just am tired of the boot. Once it's off I can start exercising again. Thanks Amy for the chair exercise idea! I hope it'll help relieve some of the agitiation I have. It doesn't help that I'm PMSing right now too. :P

Amy-good for you for joining WW. I hope that it works out well for you.

To all those ladies in the study-you are in my prayers as you continue on this journey!

Hi! I am a little behind on answering the questions but I am reading the book. I have joined WW, so I am using their plan. I have a friend that I am using as my accountability partner. She is also going to WW, so that makes it pretty easy! What I struggle with is eating breakfast. I tend to skip it and I know that is not good.

Tina, there is a team called Chair Exercises. It has videos of exercises you can do in a chair! I use them when I am too tired to walk or am hurting too much to do anything else! Hope that helps.

Rebecca, know that you are in my prayers, too.

I'm having a horrible day today. A client (not my boss) yelled at me. She told me I was rude for not saying goodbye. She actually called me back to tell me that. This client is also a client I don't like to talk to anyway because she is knows for being rude, snippy and hard to deal with. I did tell her when she called back that I thought it was rude of her to not leave a voice message when I asked her to (maybe I shouldn't have done that,) but it had nothing to do with not saying goodbye. She told me she was sure my boss wouldn't appreciate me treating his clients that way. I finally said I was sorry (even though I wasn't) to get her to go away. And have now spent the rest of the morning crying because I feel so overwhelmed by the whole thing. I did tell my boss that she called to tell me I was rude for not saying goodbye and he later asked me if that was it - it felt like (from his voice and his face) he didn't believe me or like he really did think I did something wrong. So I cried more.

HI everyone I've been awol a while. First of all I am so happy to see that THIS is where I found out about this book! LOL. AND that there is a study going on! I'm already right up to where everyone is so I'm not even behind lol. I am absolutely loving this book. I borrowed it from the library and I'm planning on buying it so I can read it over and over again. Its exactly the type of book/plan/idea I've been searching for. I am also in OA and it fits right in with the teachings of the 12 steps as well.

I haven't skimmed down through any posts in here yet but I will soon.

TWIGAND22, I went to your page to read your blogs about the book, but since it is all set to private I couldn't. There wasn't even the option to request you as a friend.

LITTLEGUYSMOM1 Thank you so much for using the link to my blog! I am so excited to share with everyone and thank you for reading!

I do not really have a plan in place, I much more feel out of control with my snacking (as I wrote about today in my blog). I think I would like an accountability partner. Unfortunately all of the people I know are not very reliable :/ Maybe I can find someone in this group? I was also just thinking I could be accountable for my food choices to my boyfriend because he always tells me what he has to eat and says he should eat better, so maybe it would help us both. I never thought of being accountable to him for my food.

I hope your foot will get better soon LITTLEGUYSMOM1, I will be praying for it!! I hope you will find an accountability partner if it will help you. :) We are definitely under attack from Satan in our thoughts. It seems that he is always trying to bring us down. But we can do this!

TWIGAND22-Thanks for the link to your blog. What a great way to document your journey through this study. I look forward to reading your blogs.

So ladies, how are you doing? Do you have your plan in place? Do you have an accountability partner? Are you going to get one-yes or no? Are you coming to terms with the truth of Chapter 6-YOU were made for more?

Check in and let us know how you are doing and how we can pray.

I'm getting there with my plan. I still have some more research to do and I need to go grocery shopping, but it's coming together. It's just hard to do any exercise with a broken foot. :( I know that it is temporary and I'll be back on my feet soon. I'm really looking forward to going hiking with a group of local sparkers (Akron Sparkers) when my foot heals. We have a Fall Hiking Spree that we usually do as a family, but this year is just not working out (my foot, hubby working a side remodeling job).
I'm thinking of asking either my MIL or a friend to be my accountability partner. If hubby tried to help, I'd feel like he was the food police and it wouldn't go over well with me. I'm still thinking and praying about it. We'll see.
I know in my heart that I was made for more than this, but Satan still gets doubts in my head. It is a spiritual battle, ladies! Let's keep praying for each other and will kick Satan right out of our thoughts!

Dear Lord-I pray that you place a protective hedge around every one of these ladies. Give them the courage and strength to stand firm in your Word and keep Satan's lies out of their minds and hearts. Show them that they were made for more, they are precious daughters of the King! In your Son's holy name I pray. Amen.

Take care and may God bless you today!

I have been reading all of the posts on each chapter's message board but hadn't gone into this main message board. I enjoyed reading through all of your posts and seeing your struggles as well as happiness. I am so thankful to be in a group with such supportive ladies! I just wanted to let you all know also that I just started a blog (this is something I have wanted to do for a really long time) and my first series is going to be an expanding of my thoughts on the Made to Crave study. If you would like to read it you can view my blog at:

I hope to be able to grow closer to God with all of you and be there for you as much as I can. I can see that all of you are trying so hard and are very strong! Just don't believe Satan's lies which seem to be the things that always bring us down or take us off track when we think we are doing well. :)

RICKENICKEY - Welcome to our study.
I hope that you are able to get support from our group.
I would encourage you to set up a Spark Page, and let people be your friend. That will give you ways to be supported, and to support others. Glad you are here. Ravyna

Good morning. Hope you have room for another here. I've caught up in the study this week. I've been really depressed this week but too busy to really notice or do much about it. When reading the chapters this week, the thing that spoke to me the most was the importance of having a friend/friends for accountability. I don't have that here in my offline life. That affects a lot of my whole life, not having that support.

So I'm learning to be my own support, to rely on God, and to join up with Christian women here who have the same goals. I hope I'm doing this right. If I'm supposed to be participating another way, please let me know.

emoticon emoticon Absolutely, friends are important for support...honesty can be hard when we don't do well, but acknowledging poor results can help us glean support and continue trying. If we do poorly and lie or give up and go away...we lose and all of us lose the chance to provide fuel for the fire.

I feel really good today, I think it may because I ate well yesterday and today. I have my fridge full of fresh vegetables, and have had lots of them to eat, and have been drinking a lot of water, and having success in my eating.
I did 30 mins on my bike in two 15 minute sessions, and tonight my knees don't ache too badly, but they did earlier in the day.
I am so glad to have my spark friends, and having you all here to encourage me. It really helps me to keep my focus.

Praise God for a successful surgery and I'm praying for a speedy recovery. They do have a lot going on with all these surgeries this month. I'll keep them in my prayers.

I think I've found a plan that I like-it is cutting down on carbs/sugar. It is the Belly Fat Cure plan by Jorge Cruise and I think it is the best fit for me since carbs are my weakness. This is a plan high in protein and full of good carbs so I hope I won't be hungry and craving sugar sweets all the time. Also, most of my weight is straight on the front of my belly. I'll be starting it next week so I have time to prep and grocery shop.

So, how are your plans coming along? Have you found a plan that you can stick with? What obstacles are you facing? I'm really looking forward to hearing how you all are doing. Are you putting your heart into this study? I really want this time to be different and I know that depends on my attitude and my commitment. God will be beside me, I just need to lean on him when I need strength.

Well, I hope you all have a blessed day! Take care!

my sister's surgery went well. They did a double bypass and had to rip her chest open. Her husband said that she may come out of ICU tomorrow. And may come home on Sunday. He also commented on how stubborn she is. He had to leave this afternoon to go back to his work out of town. He will be back on the weekend. He is scheduled to have gastric bypass on Sept. 30th. They are having a lot of things to handle. But she is strong, and she is depending on the Lord. I don't have a way to get a hold of her at the hospital, because it didn't occur to me to ask. I just had a quick call, and just happened to catch him before he left for work. So just pray for her as she goes through this week without her husband, and also maybe has some friends to visit her.

You can go to my blog for today to find out how you can pray for me.

Joyce, that is an awesome idea. I'm going to try to do that. I have to admit, being that we don't meet in person I have a hard time keeping track some times, so this is great. I also appreciate you putting the effort and creativity into it ... into us actually. Your the best.

We got a new puppy this weekend and I got 3 migraines this week. I fell way behind on reading, so I'm going to try to catch up as I can.

Joyce - thank you so much for your prayers and your post on this forum. Really inspiring and encouraging.

Ravyna - I prayed for your sister as soon as I read your message - thought you'd like to know.

Tina - I've just prayed for your foot, that it will heal quickly, that you'll have patience whilst it does so, that God will give you wisdom so you know what you should/shouldn't do to help it heal and that you know God's peace.

I've fallen a bit behind with reading Made to Crave, but I'm making sure I read a bit each night so I'll get there eventually.

Good morning!

Joyce-what a great idea to have prayer cards! I have a list I keep next to my computer, but I like your idea better. Thanks for praying for us!

Ravyna-I'll be praying for your sister. My family has had it share of open heart surgeries, so I know what it is like. Keep praying-it'll all turn out just the way it is supposed to.

I have a quick prayer request. I have a small stress fracture in my left foot so I am wearing a very fashionable (NOT) boot to keep it still. I'm not sure how it happened, I think it happened when I tripped over the dog and then I exercised on it. It has been hurting for a few days and I finally went to the urgent med place and had an it looked at. Anyway-it should heal itself in a few weeks. Until then, just call me Peg-leg! :)

So, how is everyone doing on their journey? It's time to come up with a plan-have you thought about what will work for you? I'm looking into cutting out different carbs out of my diet-high sugar and/or wheat based. These are my sticky points when it comes to cravings. I've gotten some books out of the library-gluten free, flat belly cure, eat right for you type. They all say the same thing-a paleo type diet would work best for me in cutting out the carbs. I'm going to do my research and see what sounds the best for me and the most do-able. I still have to feed my family so I need to keep that in mind.

Well, I hope you all are having an eye-opening experience with this study. Let's learn to pray through our cravings and have a plan in place for healthy eating. We can do this!!

WOW, thank you so much for praying for us. That is so awesome. I am truly grateful. My older sister Dayna, age 60 is having open heart surgery to do a bypass on Tuesday. She is obeying the doctor and taking it easy and not working from now to then. Our dad died when he was 39 from a work accident so we don't know if he would have had heart trouble, but his father did. She is a believer, and will take some time to recover. Just pray for that thanks. Ravyna

All of you in the Book Study have a special sticker. These are my prayer cards. When I say I am praying for you... emoticon It truly is happening emoticon emoticon
And these are great for tiny segments of time emoticon The Stop Light is 6 sisters prayed for! emoticon the Stop Lights! emoticon (actually feel like I hit fewer RED as ......other powers don't want me to pray)

Thank you SLIMLEAF for praying for me, and lifting me up to the Lord. Today has been okay, although I am tired, my grandson is here, (he is napping) he is 18 months old next week. I just love to have him around, he loves to laugh, and has such a joyful dispostition.
But I am really hungry today. and tomorrow we are having a young family with their 3 young children all under 5 and my daughter and her husband over or lunch. Did 20 minutes on the bike, will try to get in 10 more.
And we have finally gotten some rain!!!!!

Hello Ladies!

So, how was your first week? I learned that I need to pray in my moments of craving and I really need to figure out my "want to" that will get me exercising. I do want to take care of this body God has blessed me with, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I'm lacking in motivation. I don't sit around all day, but I really don't feel like exercising and when I do I just stare at the timer on the DVD player knowing at which minute point I'll be finished. I have been eating better-lots of fruit and veggies-so there is that. I have also been very good about my Bible time. I spend 30-45 minutes reading devotionals and my Bible reading for the day. Now I just need to "be still" (my life verse-Psalm 46:10a) and be open to what God wants me to hear.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where God is taking us on this journey.

Take care and God bless!!

Hello Ravyna

I don't know what to say really - in a pretty bleak place myself at the moment - but I wanted you to know that a sister in Christ here in the UK is thinking of you, has said a prayer for you (although I can manage only very basic prayers just now) and is cheering you on. Really good to hear that yesterday was a bit better. Well done. Keep going.

My week has been crazy, I have been depressed, and down. I haven't done well in keeping God first, but I am working on it. I think I only missed one day in not reading my Bible, and I have always been up in my prayer life. There have been so many people on SP that have asked for prayer. I am glad to be able to pray.
I hope to be able to look into my book tomorrow and make some concrete comments. God wants me to crave Him above anything else. It isn't just food that I crave, but noise. I seem to always have the TV on, not just for the programs, but not to have silence. And I know that God calls me to be silent before Him and know that He is God. I just find that difficult. God bless you. Ravyna

Our church put audio pod casts up if anyone wants to hear the messages from the revival. They are way worth the time. The church site is cfnaz.com and you just click on downloads. The revival ones are the ones by Dr. Stephen Manley - there should be a total of 5 - they may not have last nights up just yet. ...or you can click the link below.

Deciding what you want your life to be like is not hard. Deciding what you are willing to do and give up to get it, is the hard part.

I will do what I need to do in order to do what I want to do.

Good morning Ladies!

You are so welcome - it is an honor to lead you wonderful women. I am very blessed to be a part of this team.

Rebecka-thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on repentance. It really hit home that I need to replace my old way of thinking with a new way. It was just what I needed to get a handle on starting this journey. What a great reminder that what comes out of a (wo)man is what is inside to begin with. Let's make sure that good things come out of us, be it words or actions. I love the insanity quote-my hubby just used it last night! :)

I'll be praying for open hearts and minds for God's will to be known to us.

Tina, I also thank you for EVERYTHING; starting the study, praying for us, always taking the time to encourage me. I have found more faithful friends here than anywhere else in my life.

I did want to share something that I recently heard. Our church is doing a revival and it started Sunday. The speaker started by talking about repentance and what it really means. Repentance really means - GETTING RID OF AN OLD THOUGHT TO MAKE ROOM FOR A NEW THOUGHT. We often think that repentance only deals with sin, but it doesn't. Repentance can deal with sin, but not all repentance is sin. The 'old thought' may not be a 'sin.' However, it may be something that God is calling you to change in order to bring you to a new place, a better place, a place of growth.

It spoke to me in many ways. I have been praying for and searching for a change in my life, but am missing it. I now realize it is because I have not given up my old way of thinking and adopted any new ways of thinking. It also bring to mind 2 other things.

1. There is a famous quote that I can't remember who said; insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

2. There is a scripture (Mark 7:14ish) where Jesus says 'What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person."

All things start with the way we think. If we can not or are not willing to change our thought or our hearts, we can not change our actions or our lives. And only God can help us do that.

I pray God will give us all the wisdom to know what thoughts and heart issues to let go of and which ones to adopt. And I pray that He will guide us each step it takes to a changed life that glorifies Him, His will and His way, because His will is always best for us. I pray that He teaches us the humility to recognize the things we need to surrender over to Him and the strength it takes to be humble enough to do it. May God bless us all in each of our individual journeys.

Tina, I want to take the time to thank you not only being the leader of this group but starting this bible study, and for praying for us. I will keep you and the others in this study in my thoughts and prayers. We will accomplish this journey together. We may be Christian with Depression, but it does not have us, God does, and it does define who we are;our relationship with God will help define who we are. It will not guide or direct our paths; God does. Remember we are women, and God says that we are more than conquerors and we are beautifully and wonderfully made. We are in this 2gether. It may not be easy, and we may struggle at times, but with God all things are possible.

Thanks Tina for your prayers for us. I personally sure need them. Will be starting the book this week. Just need strength to get over the hurdle of giving this plan my all. I've been sort of half hearted with my weight loss attempts. I know With God's help I can do this. I just need to do my part.

Blessings to all The members of this team. I am thankful for all of you.

Hello Tina, Cynthia and anyone else embarking on this Made to Crave journey.
Thanks for the prayer Tina - I've just prayed it too.
It's hard to find time to read M2C as well as tracking food and exercise, keeping up with other Spark stuff - oh and then the rest of life's demands! - but I suppose it's all a matter of priorities.
And I want Jesus to become my top priority.

Good Morning! emoticon Tina for leading us and starting us off in prayer.

I have read half the book....but since that was several months ago I am going to re-read. I'm willing to bet God will reveal something different this go around! I'm excited.

I would appreciate your prayers: that I will be able to complete this study and not get side tracked with all of life's muck! I will be praying for each of you during the study as well.

God Bless each of you!

Today is the day we start the M2C study. I posted questions from the Introduction and Chapter 1 and they will stay up all week. Next Sat. I'll post questions for Chapters 2 & 3. Please go at your own pace-it is more important that you get everything you can out of the study than try to keep up if the pace is too fast.

Dear Lord-I ask for your blessing on these wonderful ladies as they begin a new journey in drawing closer to you. Help them find their "want to" and give the the endurance to see it through until the end. Guide their choices, give them wisdom and discernment as they make changes in their lives. Draw them near to you. First and foremost, it is our relationship with you that needs to grow. As a benefit, we are hoping to lose weight and make healthy choices for ourselves. Please be our guide down this path. In Jesus' name I lift up this prayer to you. Amen.

I have purchased the book and the study guide but I haven't had a chance to read very far. Is today the day we actually begin the study?
