I am sorry I haven't checked in. I like your idea. We can do this challenge starting 10/28-11/3

I really need to hold down my sodium. It makes me blow up like a balloon. SO count me in and I will post the thread for our next challnge! Thanks Wonder!

Well Don't feel alone Sage, I am hitting my trouble items too!! should we do a double challenge in one week and try for both the fiber and the sodium? You are doing so great, you have come so far, I bet this will be a cinch for you.

I wonder what REne thinks of the double challenge Idea?

what about a fiber challeng! Like the farting monkey thing? Or perhaps a sodium challenge(to keep it down for a week??) Just throwing ideas out there For giggles! Wonder

Sorry I disappeared for a while. there is a whole lot going on at work and I wasn't able to check in. It looks like we did pretty well with this challenge.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a new one??

10/10 8 glasses of water 5 servings of fruit / veggies. Lettuce, bell peppers, onions, cucumbers combined (twice today) & 1/4 medium sized cantaloupe (approx. 2 cups balled)

Day one-corn on the cob, coleslaw, beans, banana, a large salad with tomatoes, romaine, black olives, peppers, and cucumbers.

I walked the dog 20 minutes and got a 45 minute workout. I drank 15 glasses of water.

10/9 apple, fruit cup, squash, carrots and peas, 2 slices of tomato. 14 glasses of water

20 minutes walking dog 45 minutes of heavy cleaning

I had 9 glasses of water 2 fruits and 4 vegetables been taking care of 2 two year olds the last 4 days so that was plenty of exercises for me I'm tired and trying to get some rest today Have a great one Ida

10/8 - 5 servings of fruit & veggies; 12 glasses of water; 30 minutes on the excercise bike.

10/9 - 6 1/2 servings so far today through lunch; 10 glasses of water so far and 30 minutes on the bike. I have strength training scheduled for later tonight.

I survived day one. 2 - squash, 2 - mandarin oranges & (1) cantaloupe Also ate popcorn, but doesn't count because it is classified under grains. emoticon I hope I don't dream VeggieTales are after me tonight.

As you can see i added a new forum for challenges so it will be easier for us to keep up with them.

I think we should continue to try to get our 8 glasses or better of water. But add try to eat 5 fruits or veggies a day.

And add at least 10 minutes of activity to your day. How does this sound to everyone??

Is anyone up for this challenge?
