I did the Belly Blast and I liked it. I've have always thought of effective exercise as quick moving, sweat alot stuff. But I need to combine resistance, controlled, exercise too. Now that I"m in my forties, I seem to have more trouble with balance. I think that these kind of exercises added to my cardio burn the fat sweat routine is just what I need. I like to really think about the muscle group I am working on...especially my stomach. Today was great! I'm on the first day of my second week and I've already done my 10 minute video and my bonus. Now for my 30 minute walk and to TRACK my eating today staying within my calorie range. I can SEE the number on the scale getting smaller and my clothes getting looser. emoticon

I did the jumprope video as well. although my ceiling is low so I had to keep restarting and shortening my rope. BUT MAN WAS THAT A KILLER WORKOUT!!! I am dripping with sweat. was a little out of breath at the end but man am i going to try it again! emoticon emoticon

I just bought a resistance band today. I love it! I redid the Day 5 video that includes the band which I had done previously with dumbells! Excellent! emoticon

I'd done a couple upper boddy dumbbells ones over the weekend
9-min Arms Toning/Sculpting
7-min Bootcamp Day 3

Never used reisistance bands for much so thought I needed some more practice and have done twice this week
20-min resistance bands workout

Also had a couple days with back issues so had to take it much easier so tried out portions of assortment of "seated" workout videos and did the seated cardio a few times
which made me discover my legs were tighter than I'd realized so will try tonight after walk:
10-min runners stretch

In a few days -now that back pain is clearing up-
I want to try the other kickboxing workout (NewYou) as have been enjoying the one for this challenge
and fir fun, chck out that bollywood dance workout

I did the basic 14min yoga video and had the same problem. I wonder if you can't add the non-Spraks video to your workout but that seems strange. If someone knows, please post. I wasted too much time yesterday trying to figure it out.

Today was Day2, so since the video was a core video already, I did the SP New You Bootcamp Day 4 video, which was a core video on the ball. That way I could work the same muscle group without having to do the same workout twice :) I haven't done a ball workout in awhile, so it was a nice change. emoticon And on another note, I've lost enough weight since the last time that I used it, that I'm going to have to deflate my ball a bit! I was sitting up too high instead of a nice 90* angle emoticon

I vary my bonus vids based on at home dvds I own and youtube workouts.

Everyday I plan to do the Rites of Rejuvenation,based upon the 5 Tibetan Rites,I use the video posted by yogaenergystudio on youtube.Heard about The Rites from Tai Chi classmate.

I also have a lot of Bob Harper and Jillian ,Jackie Warner and 10 Minute Solution dvds amongst a variety of others to workout to.

I love the Butt-Blasting workout. It's only 6 min, butt awfully intense if your not used to that. I would like to build up to doing that one twice.

I chose the lower body workout with resistance band. I wanted a couple more leg workouts :). Did it today for the first time and even though it is only 5 minutes long I really felt it working. Looking forward to doing it again.

To all coach Nicole videos my very favorites are the kick boxing, in fact I modified them and made them more challenge. Plus my taekwando kicking too. I can kick real kicks on the head.

Tomorrow I will go back to my taekwando kicks again. I have to learn the speed of my kicks now, speed is the most important of all than the weight. Now my body is lighter, I can kicks and jump as well as kicks together as higher as I can kicks most of all my falls 45 kicks and other kicks, and ax kicks it can hit the head. Taekwando kicks more challenging to me, and more fun too.

To me all those coach Nicole videos are so easy to follow my body needs more. This is why I have to go back my taekwando/martial arts kicks again including my stretches too I will follow my taekwando stretches.

LTMURPHY7, for week 2 we were just told to do a bonus video in addition to the assigned ones, that's all.
