I went shopping today to get a couple of new tops for our upcoming cruise, had a budget of $100 or less. Found 6 tops, all on sale, and today was 15% off Fabulous 50 and over. All total of $72!!!

Philippe went back to work today (2 hours late), and the day was almost "normal". We were able to go to Costco and do a much needed grocery run.

I agree, that is a great plan, Barbara. I'm also glad that you got a nap in Lainie. Oscar has had something since before Thanksgiving and it's just not leaving. Waiting for the blood work to come back. Chest xrays are good.

You guys went back early, Veronique. We're off until next Monday. The UCs start on the 16th and Community College sometime after that.

A small happy for me, I got my hair colored and trimmed up. It's just a boost to my ego!!!

Shannon picked up the mail today and he had a parcel for me, my new resistance bands and the envelope which will help me prepare for surgery, and resistance bands is something that I'll need to use to help strengthen my legs

I took my son and my grandson out to lunch today. Suffering from a sciatica that does not want to let go, I have been walking with the help of a cane. When Gabriel (3 years old) saw that, he said: Grandma is getting old! It came from the heart, and his Dad was very embarrassed. It was so funny it made my day!

I slept in today. Yay! I finally patched four pairs of my son's jeans that he's been wanting done for awhile. I'm going to use my new Instant Pot for the first time today. I also have 4 more meals picked out to make using the Instant Pot.
