1. Double up on low-cal DASH when you have the chance,especially non-starchy veggies and low-fat or nonfat dairy.

2. Limit portion sizes on higher calorie foods.

3. Stock your cupboards and fridge with the key DASH diet foods.

4. Sneak in extra DASH foods. Toss extra raw veggies in your sandwich or have a latte with 8oz. skim milk.

5. Buy DASH convenience foods, such as bagged pre-cut veggies, yogurt smoothies and single-serve bottles of milk.
