Took the 3 grandgirls to the gym to swim in their heated pool. They lasted 2 hours. It was a LOT of treading water and rocket ship jumps. Great fun and definately exercise.

I love Zumba!!! it is really fun and a great work out. it doesn't even feel like exercise because I love to dance! emoticon

Belly dancing. It is totally fun and any woman can learn to do it. You also can have curves.It actually enhances the dance if you are a little curvy. There are tons of DVD's out there if you can't get to a class. I have several. I like the Discover Belly Dance Series with Veena and Nina if you have never done it before. I like to dance for about 40 minutes each morning. I am also interested in Bollywood Dance if I can find a few DVDs. Actually any kind of dance is fun and I used to do ballet, so I will be getting so DVDs for that too.

Today I took my kids to church for Good Friday service. While the big kids listened to the sermon, I took my 4 year old downstairs. We played hide & seek and danced around. Every little bit of movement helps.

Playing fetch with my dog. My dog has to have a ball in her mouth at all times, but she will chase after any ball I throw. She will come back with the ball that was in her mouth originally, so I have to go fetch the other ball. more walking for me! lol

All movement counts toward our fitness goals. There are plenty of recreational exercise types that are FUN!. Let's use this tread to tell the team about your fun exercise ideas and experiences.

I'll start off... this weekend I am going to a roller skating rink with a group of friends. I haven't roller skated in 30 years but am really excited for the opportunity.
