I was a tomboy growing up (well to a point). I was always around guys & cars, trucks, motorcycles, used to ride dirt bikes so it kinda comes natural to me to watch Nascar.
Nothing better that a loud, fast machine, bored out enginge, staight pipes, rumbles the house when you rev it up (yeah, talking bout my sons pulling truck).
I could melt over a guy who just finished workin on a vehicle & is sweaty & greasy. Yeah, I'm weird. I'm always around when they are working on cars here & at work they tease me that if you need to know about vehicles, go see me.
I'm not your typical female that's for sure!

I dont like the cold, wind, ice, yuck....snow I can handle..hope you didnt have to drive too much in it.

I am gonna have to start paying attention to the nascar. I was given a M&M team shirt, so maybe I will pay attention to that team, or Jimmy Johnson, won money off him a couple years ago, lol.

How long will you be in Israel?
Better there than SW pa. now, we're in for a wintry mix for the morning commute & all afternoon. I don't like ice, I can deal with the snow & the bitter cold, but not ice.

I miss watching Nascar... oh well, I love living in Israel, so I guess I have some sacrifices ;)

I have a love-hate relationship with the tracker. Now that I've been doing this for over a year, I rarely track anymore... but I do know that when I track, I actually lose weight... when I don't track, I maintain or lose veeeeeeeeery sloooooowly.

It's a tough call, but I definitely do my own recipes, add things to my favorites, group things together, look info up on the 'net, etc. And once I've got the hang of the calories/nutrition info for stuff, I don't feel as guilty if I don't track for a while, 'cause I know I'm pretty much within my ranges.

I wish I could track by just sending my thoughts to the tracker. Then I could have just a love relationship with it ;)

I'm not crazy bout probowl either.
There is NASCAR Daytona practice on at 1...my driver won the shoot out last night YEAH
Got to rub that into hubby although JR. & Gordon (BOOO) are team mates this year.
It was funny during the National Anthem, they showed Gordon & his wife was playing with his hair making him look nice. I never let up on that one last night, kept telling hubby Gordon was whipped and hubby didn't have too many come backs!

I'd go overboard if it weren't for the food tracker.
I too try to pick a close item if I can't find exactly what I want. Time permitting, I enter my items & ave as favorites.
Sometimes I google an item & try to find nutritional info on the net.
Sometimes it does take forever to do!

The food tracker has helped me also!!! I have realized that it is difficult for me to stay within my calories. I am either too low or too high. So working on that mainly!

I love the food tracker it has really helped me realize what I was doing wrong. I always said "I don't eat that much" well the food tracker has helped me see that it was the kind of foods I was eating because now I find it hard to get enough calories from the right foods.

I find it helpful to edit my favorites every few weeks, and delete a lot.
Makes it easier to find what I'm looking for.

You can also go to Sparkrecipes.com and enter your own recipe. (Then with each serving you'll be adding 1 line instead of 10 - lol!)

Yes June, I have a list a mile long...lol

I did stop for a couple of days...but I feel wrong by not tracking them....guess its keeping me honest.

I do have a couple GROUPINGS saved also.

One of these days, I will put all the ingredients into a grouping for a Veggie Pizza I make...then I can share it w/all of you...It is amazing and most of all Healthy

I still faithfully use my tracker cause it really helps you realize what and how much is really going in , hopefully its just a phase that has to pass and it will get easier. plus when you use it you get lots of spark points .

A friend of mine came up with a rule some time ago:
If you don't know how to track it, then DON'T EAT it! - lol!

Seriously, if you are bored with the tracker, maybe you could track every other day, and see how it goes. If you keep losing weight at the same rate you did so far, then it's OK!

Many members stop for a while, then restart.

I find myself eating alot of the same food for that very reason, so I dont have to look it up LOL it is very time consuming especially when you have to share the computer with two teens , I'm on then off then on then off .

are you saving foods you eat on a regular basis to your favorite list? i eat oatmeal the same way almost every morning, so i have it on the favorites list and it brings it right up.

i have just started using the food tracker. it took me some time to figure it out, but i think it is a great tool and gives you the freedom to make your choices and still stay on track. i haven't run into the ;problem of not finding some foods on it yet.
