Did very well today. Walked for 31 minutes on my treadmill for a mile and a half, did day 3 video, and ab work on my ab machine. Tracked my food for the day, so I am done. Hope everyone else is having a successful day.

I am late starting too, I was down the entire week last week due to the flu! Yuck! I have a goal to do a 5k this summer! I was a runner in my younger days, but after having kids I quit taking care of myself! I am ready to slim down, become more energetic and happier for now not just my kids, but my grandkids too! And for my dear sweet husband!

I finished my wk 1 on Mon. night. I would have done that over the weekend if I hadn't gotten sick. I started wk 2 and completed 2 of the videos including my work out at the gym. I tracked my food this past fri. but didn't eat enough sat.and sun and not overly healthy, was out of cans of soups. I did track my food Mon and Tues and will try to keep it up the rest of the week. I have don't it religiously in the past so I have a rough idea how to stay in my limit. My diet mostly consists of chicken and fish when I am at home but at work we eat whatever the clients eat and with them being on a 1500 diet it's easy to keep in range. That also has helped me to know that I am in the range since we all take turns preparing the meals by following the menu. Even though I wasn't doing this regularly I was still making it to the gym and tracking that on my fitness tracker. Well good night everyone. Take care all and keep up the great work....

Had a good day today. Logged all of my food. I walked for 30 minutes on my treadmill, did day 2 video, and ab exercises. So, I did well. I have decided that I would start measuring my foods. Estimating it has not worked so well. So I have measured everything today.

I am restarting week 1. I started out strong last week except for the videos, but ended up badly. So, I am restarting. I did lose 2 pounds last week. I also have a problem with the videos. Some of them are very difficult and it does not show a modification. They just tell you to go at your own pace. I am going to try them again this week. Maybe they will be easier and I will be able to figure out the modification to them. Hopefully, I will be successful this week I did do 20 minutes at a brisk pace on my treadmill today. Tomorrow will be better.

Well, decided to start this over again! It was my birthday this weekend and I was super lazy and didn't even start this challenge (oi vey!) So, here I am, going to start it today! My husband bought me an Xbox Kinect and I plan on buying the Zumba game that goes with it! That way, if I feel lazy and just want to play a game, I can use my Kinect and it won't feel like work! lol. Good luck everyone!

I'm here to lose some inches. I'm about 80 pounds overweight for my height and I just turned 25. I'm too young to be having a bad back or bad knees so I want to get started on an easy exercise routine so I can live a long, healthy life with my wonderful new husband!!! I want to lose 5 inches from my hips and at least 2 from my thighs before May. I'm starting small so that way I reach my goal sooner and then I can set another goal!!!

Love and Light

Hi I am having trouble with the videos so i went back to seated exercises. My back and legs are just not strong enough for even 10 minutes of standing exercises yet. I am getting my cardio at the gym. today i did 30 minutes on the Exercycle and 30 minutes on the treadmill. My back huts a little and my legs are really sore. but I am sure i can't get better if I don't push myself some.

I am going to the gym 4 days a week now and hope to strengthen myself enought to do standing exercises soon.

Just finished day one and it's not even 9am yet. Working out in the morning rocks. I signed up last week and decided to start this Monday, a little later than my original plan on the first but better late then never. I haven't worked out since Summer, so it was unbelievable how out of shape I've become. I used to do P90x 5 days a week and today found myself winded, but what was even more shocking was how hard the 9 minute video was for day 1. I know from the past that each baby step paves the way to success, so I'm ready to hang in there and know that these exercises will get easier. Best of luck to everyone.

I started my week one, last Monday, so Woohoo week one is done! Thank you to spark for mentioning modified ways to complete the video exercises. I knew i was getting more and more less flexible, but no idea just how much until i tried to do some of these things. I am going to keep doing it tho, and keep logging even if i fail, i figure i win, because i 'm tracking and doing something (more active than before). Thanks for helping me on my jumpstart.

Sounds like a lot of people have had to start over again due to illness. I'm starting over again due to an injury - I banged up my leg at school last week and had trouble walking, let alone working out, but I can move again, so I'm ready to start again.

Ok, I joined this Challege late, but I've been doing my own personal challenge since January 1. A friend of mine is doing a 100-day challenge, but I've had to modify for my own fitness level, so I'm committed to doing 30 minutes of activity for 30 days. As of today, I've completed 13 days!! I'm so happy/proud of myself!

Each day, I try to talk myself out of exercising, but end up winning when I won't let defeat discourage me. I find the motivation to go to the gym, do a few of Coach Nicole's videos, or take a walk/run outside (weather permitting, of course). I'm feeing motivated, encouraged, and ready to take on the next two weeks.

I've already made mention to a friend that I may take on the next 30 days at the end of the first. Who knows...I think it's pretty encouraging!

How is YOUR challenge going??

Had to play catch-up on the toning videos today ,so did the Pilates Thigh,Arms/Upper Body, and Abs videos almost back-to -back.Then did video for Day One to start Week 2 ,although I started to double up on videos for tomorrow.but I don't want to start a bad habit of putting off for the next gay that which can be done today.

I don't want to ever have to do four videos in a row again unless its planned.Unfortunately,I didn't repeat any of the vids I try to repeat them 2-3 times to push myself. emoticon

"STORMORE" GOOD JOB......you have given me encouragement. I will log every morsel of food that I eat this week and will continue to work out as much as possible. I hope to start losing weight that has not happened all week and I was pretty darn good at logging and staying on target but maybe me target is off.........THANK YOU

I just finished week 1 too!! I worked out 6 days (besides the videos) and today (my day off), I spent two hours drying my kids' outdoor roller hockey rink so they could play games. Lots of mopping! To make things even better, I kept track of every morsel of food that went in my mouth and I stayed below my goal calorie intake each day! YAY!!! I lost 3 lbs this week.

Week one is done emoticon and I did pretty darn good. I did 5 out of 7 videos ( was gone on Friday and Saturday so unable to get to a computer) I worked out and did cardio 4 days in a row and today will be 5 out of 7 days exercising. I've been trying my best to log every day but I had a day of sabotage and after those days I struggle with logging......URGH. Back on track today and getting on the Elliptical to do my hour and then I'll feel better. I am determined to make this my year. emoticon I have been trying to drop these extra pounds for years and I'm not getting any younger!!! It is going to be hard but I can do this. I continue to pray on it and have found that I like working out it makes me feel good. emoticon And I have FINALLY come to a place where food is NOT my friend or my fix or my drug any more..........HALLELUJAH!!!

No matter how slow you go you are still lapping everyone else on the couch!!!

I've just finished week 1 I feel great. I got a bit behind with the toning videos but I was determined to stay on track so I did day 5,6,7 today. This challenge has really helped me keep my goals in mind and I've even made some progress with the scales, I'm actually looking forward to week 2 :)

Slow and steady wins the race

This challenge has motivated me to track my food and do some major cardio this week! My first week of the challenge ends today, and this week I attended two spinning classes, did cardio at home and in the gym two days, and completed a 5.6 mile hike yesterday, burning 1520 calories in the process! And I'm not done yet lol. I'm going on another hike today, though it will be on a new trail and more of an exploratory hike than anything else. Still, the views will be beautiful and it's a fun way to burn calories.

Keep up the great work, everyone! emoticon
