Hey soon-to-be birthday girl! A cello recital sounds wonderful. I've never been to one.

I'm glad Day 1 was a good one for you. How about Day two? For me, Day two was really good, except that I still did not make my 8 water cups goal. Aarrhh! I tried, but, again, I was to dog-on full! My man (I like saying that - lol!) and I went to a grand baby shower yesterday and I drank a number of iced tea's (unsweetened - yay!) and, again, could not get down eight waters. I ended the day at five. All other goals were met.

It's interesting how things can go off course when you are out of your regular routine. Laughter, chit-chatting, "the buffet" - yum, games, pictures, prizes and presents, plus, I did the opening prayer, the welcome, directed the tables for the buffet line and started the games off ... whew! Yeah... I was a little off course for sure.... but sooo much fun!

I can just see you full of veggies! emoticon Well done!

Day 1 was fantastic for me! I'm calling it a win even though I chose other fitness besides the treadmill.

Yesterday was my last cello recital. Very exciting day as I had a graduating senior. Very bitter sweet to say goodbye... emoticon

It's finally summer and my b-day is Thursday.

emoticon is done... all goals were met except for my water goal. I went to a graduation party today. Food wise, it went pretty good. I ate a lot, lot, lot of vegetables, of all kinds and ate a little of the other food items. I was so full from eating vegetables I could not get another drop of water down. Whew! Extra effort to not go overboard with my calorie allotment was applied and it was a win!

JUNE goals:::...

1.) 8 glasses of water 5/5
2.) Treadmill each morning (trying to establish consistency) 5/5
3.) More veggies, less bread (products) 5/5
4.) Time with the Lord in quiet... I am learning to just be still before Him... not there yet, but I will with His help. 5/5

Okay, let's bring it! My June goals (June already) are as follows:

1) 8 cups of water, 5/5
2) no eating after 9pm, 5/5
3) no fries or potato wedges, 4/5
4) apply extra effort at events this weekend
