This challenge is much needed. I found myself digging through the bottom of my book closet. This closet has three shelves built in, a small night table with a shelf and some floor space.

- The shelves have my reference books (dog training, religious, gardening, etc books.
- The night stand has travel books in it.
- the floor space... o my goodness - the floor space. I am so thankful for this challenge. I dug into the TBR pile on the floor space, pulled them all out, spread out on the floor, pulled up Good Reads app and got scanning to a new shelf there called In My Closet. I scanned 35 books, sorted them by date published and went from oldest to newest for the challenge except a couple which fit in with holidays.
--I found several that I am no longer interested in.
--I have a bunch of books that I am supposed to decide if I want to read a series for (they are number 2 or more in the series, I like to read in order, I'm weird that way)
--I discovered I still have a few series that were given to me by others (we trade) that I have not read yet either.

super glad I don't purchase many books anymore, using library much more especially since I do book clubs now.

anyway, sorry to take up space and chatter but needed to share my appreciation for this challenge. (also, my closet is organized better, my room has been cleaned because that is what you do when you sit on floor and see under the bed and I took some really cute pictures of my dog with his stuffed animal toy)

We all have that stack of books or a list of titles that have been hanging around forever. For this challenge, make a list of 15 books (1 for each month plus 3 alternates for those unreadable) that you commit to reading this year. The only rule is that it must have been on your TBR list for more than 1 year so it should be published prior to December 31, 2018.

Will you make it through your list this year? Maybe you will make it through 3!
