Round out those meals with plenty of fruits and veggies. Low calorie, high water content, high fiber....very filling!

Oh! For those of you that enjoy using your crockpot, like me, I found a recipe online when I googled it for cooking a fryer chicken in the crockpot. It amazes me that you don't add any water or broth or anything. I clean the chicken (rinsing it out, etc.), for this process I wear gloves, but that's just me. Then I put it in the crockpot and season it. We've used a Montreal Chicken season and also just used paprika and garlic. Turn it on low and leave it for 7-8 hours. It is delicious and just falls off the bone. We use the skin and bones to make broth.

Well, it was another crazy day at the office. We got thrown for a loop when our younger son explained that he had induction into the National Junior Honor Society. We managed to get there to see that, see my Mom and made chicken and bacon quesadillas at home. Breakfast and lunch went okay, but I realized yesterday evening that I didn't eat my snacks. To be honest, I wasn't really hungry. I do feel like I'm making progress and plan on preparing some food this weekend so I can have a better week next week. I'm not giving up by any means, this is about me making progress not being perfect. I know y'all are right there with me on that one.

Becky, I know it is about choices and I am working on making the better ones. This is definitely helping me regain my focus on why I am doing this. I don't want to be unhealthy and I don't want my husband and children to go through what I am going through with my mom because I didn't take care of myself.
