Cover on, and then my family likes it if I cook wide noodles in the juice and make it like a chicken and noodle soup. I cook the noodles in the juice in a separate pot on the stove just after the chicken is done. Mix together. Tastes yummy.

What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 NIV

1 fryer chicken and whatever seasoning that you choose. I have used a Montreal Chicken seasoning or just paprika and garlic powder.

Clean your chicken (remove any innards) and clean it to your liking with water or water and salt. I normally wear gloves during this process. I use a crockpot liner because I normally make broth afterwards.

Then place it in your crockpot and season to your liking...PLEASE NOTE You do not put any liquid with the chicken. I know it sounds radical, but it works, I promise. Turn it on low and leave it for about 7 hours, it may take longer if you have a bigger chicken. Most that I have cooked have been 2-3 pounds.

After about 7 to 8 hours, your chicken is done. I leave the juice that the chicken provides and add about 5 cups of water, with the bones and skin...cook on low overnight and you have broth! :-)

I hope you enjoy it. It has become a family favorite around our house! :-)

Take Care and God bless,

Tracey W.
