It should adjust to what your current weight is listed as on your SparkPeople account. For some reason though, the original height and weight was incorrect, but that is corrected now and should continue to be correct.

For today, some of the difference may be coming from the tracker tracking it as a run-walk event and the manual entry you made is just a walk, so with the tracker counting it as a combined event, it is more difficult to get something like that in our database on the site.

Thank you for making the adjustment, this morning trackers were more realistic but still about 100 calories difference. Just wondering if I can adjust the tracker info as I lose weight? I want to get back to my pre-baby weight of 140lbs, so would like to keep the tracker counting calories lost right!

That information has been updated, so that should work better for you for future recordings.

It looks like the height and weight in your Spark Activity Tracker profile is incorrect, which is causing the calories burned data to be incorrect as well. So I would go by the 159 calories burned data from your manual entry.

If you reply with what your height and weight is, I can update your Spark Activity Tracker profile so that future recordings will be correct for you. Unfortunately, it won't change any of the data that was already recorded though.

Hi! I'm currently doing the 5k walk/jog program and I had a question regarding the calories burned. After finishing my 30 min program my tracker calculated I burned 596 calories, but when I manually added my 30 mins to the 5k program tracker it calculated 159 calories burned. So my question is which is correct? My daily calorie intake adjusts for both of these events and I don't want to eat an extra 500 calories if I only have an additional 159 extra to eat!! Thanks!!
