My biggest deadlift so far is 360lbs in Dec 2008 (no video) but I do have a video from Oct 2008 from my deadlift for 352.5 at the WABDL Bench Press and Deadlift World Championships. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQgmzYmeKxw

I had shoulder surgery this past winter on both shoulders and am just getting back to weights. I did 336lbs with ease at the WABDL Hall of Fame Classic at the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this month.

My goal is to pull 460 in a competition by the end of the year.

May 11, 2009 - I got out with perfect form 8x 185lbs for SLDs. I'm working my way back up from an injury to my previous 255 with a long term goal of 300lbs. Next week will be more. :)

Thanks Nitro. I just read it won't count because it didn't happen on that day. So I'll be updating it come Monday. Although I had 4 months off so I'll be working on that PR each week. Last Monday I did 10x 185lbs on my 4th set. I think this is fun so I'll add my other lifts as I hit them again.

Oh, this is cool. My PR for deadlift was on Jan. 6 2009 for 255. I think I pulled off 6 reps. I'd have to go back and double check. My long term goal is 300lb!

Oh, do you need the video too? I have it if so. Form sucks but I got 255 off the ground! I've been working on my form since then.

Personal best of 375 for 2. Working toward 400. Found great training routing to lift heavy weight with no pain. Have had serious back injuries, appears core training does work!!! Live to lift.

I think tinkerbell was just trying to prove a point that she can lift 135lbs with ease. not bad for a female. I personally think she could do at least 150lbs for one.

normally we lift in a slow controlled maner with generally less weight.

Cell phone only records for 30 secs at a time, hence the speed.

That would be a record. I watched the video and would advise you to slow down and to work out you form-- can you get your knees to knees to right angle? Remember, to dead lift properly you muscles need to make a team effort.

We don't write down our routines, so I'll just have to try to hit it on friday. I don't know when it was.

Tink-- that would be a record. Can you give me a date for that to make it official?

Nitro-- I wish my dad was in that kind of health. My brother used to lift with me, but he lives about 100 miles from me.

The last time I did deadlifts, my max (as I was on my fourth set) was 135lbs for 10 reps.

We'll see if I hit it again this friday!

actually I can do this fairly easy. I have not found my max yet. I did attempt a 500lb lift but failed. ill let you know on friday what my max is.

you know whats sad, my dad out lifts me, and he's like 53years old. he's planning on competing as a powerlifer. his current deadlift is 500lbs,with a goal to break the record of 585lbs for his weight class and age group.

I am headed down to the gym now and do not plan on coming back without a new team record for the deadlift.

I was too embarrassed to post when I read this a few days ago.

But I AM proud of my number. I don't care if anyone thinks it's puny, LOL, I'm competing with ME, not you.

So, I've just gone up to 85 pounds. Last week I could only do 3 sets of 7. Today I did 3 sets of 10 before my grip gave out and I had to set it down quick.
Yeah, I'm ALL that!
