Candi, Funny (not really) that you mention robo calls from your own number. That JUST happened to us last week. It's a serious issue and the 4 major telecommunication companies are fast at work to prevent them. We were told ABSOLUTELY DO NOT answer such calls. They are 'stealing' folks voices. It's essentially attempting to 'steal' an aspect of our identity ... our voice pattern.

Our technology has both its good and bad aspects. Since our cell / smart phones tend to be inoperable following earthquakes and we live in earthquake country, we've opted to hold onto our landline. All of my siblings let their landlines go years ago! The other good thing about the landlines is they're operational during black outs (power outages). That's not necessarily the case with cell / smart phones. During the black outs associated with the wildfires many were without cell / smart phone service. Landlines ... still operable. It's different technology.

Good morning ladies, Jean I do own a smart phone but it is used for just that A PHONE. I don't use the camera (have one), the search engine( have a desk top) or any thing else and it is not synced to any site. I have it as my provider was more or less doing away with the flip phones and mine was no longer holding a charge. I get on this site on my desk top computer. My phone is NOT surgically attached to my hand it sits on the desk until needed although it and my husbands flip phone are our only phones, gave up our land line when we received a robo call from our own phone number. We have not seen the sun for at least a week, maybe more today is light (so far) snow and 37, which is warm for us this time of the year. Make It A Great Day everyone.

I'm grateful that Spark People has continued to support both platforms (mobile & computer)!

I realize that I'm a dinosaur and many do quite a bit from their smart phones. It's great that folks can keep a log in streak going from their smart phone as silly as that may seem.

Sometimes it's the little things that keep me going. Those small victories matter to me!

Today, I'm grateful for the emoticon Although, I am a fan of autumn/winter, I do appreciate seeing the sun. So, after a streak of gray foggy, cloudy days I always appreciate the sun, even if it is simply peeking through the clouds.

I agree that not all things are possible on the app for the smart phone. I believe the reason was that they wanted to keep it simple for people to do the basics. Something to do with data usage, etc.

I usually only use the phone app if I don't have a computer and want to log into Spark People (so I can try to keep a streak going). It is a shame that I can't log onto the community pages though. Thank goodness for the PC and laptop!

It seems that there are a number of things that are not being supported like they once were. The team pages don't seem to be getting the attention that they did prior to the launch of the Community Feed.

I do not own a cell/smart phone and do not use the mobile Spark app. It seems that the Community Feed is primarily utilized by those operating primarily from smart phones.

I was just posting the last couple of days miles onto my fitness page and realized they had me down for over 500 miles this month and have been since the first of the month. My count is 100.39 as of last night, wonder whats up with that. Have to do some moving to get in over 500 miles in less then a month, I average about a hundred a month or sometimes a bit more, total.

Have a good one emoticon

Candi, Bless you emoticon

I'm doing what I can. This year's activity is actually less than last year's by roughly 0.33 mile per day at this point and nearly 2.5 miles less per day than the previous year.

When my body was able to tolerate the physical activity I was seeing activity levels that averaged 6.0+ miles a day. I'm a far cry from that level of activity.

The fatigue has been running deeper than anything I've experienced thus far which is what the doctors said would likely happen. They were hoping that would not be the case as did I. So, at this point, the disease/condition appears to be getting worse.
