I liked that! Thanks for sharing. I felt like the garbage truck today i ate so much it wasn't funny.

breakfast was a burrito, bear claw and donut
lunch-bigmac value meal topped with chicken nugs
snacks 1/4 bag of chex mix & more soda
Dinner-i had a mini weight watcher burger, half bottle of soda and my salad i should've had a lunch. I feel disgusted but need to let it go! I know tomorrow is a new day. I stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on the foods i should have (didn't grocery shop over the weekend thus no clean food at home so i ate out and out) I got stuff to help get back in control and help me with my portions. So tomorrow i begin day one of getting my eating in check. it's been a bad week and it doesn't need to be! I wrote about it more in the intro page. Thanks for listening and again, i really liked that garbage truck anology. thanks for listening/reading.

I have read that before but it is always worth a reminder. We just have to learn to accept that we have no control people, places and things around us and just deal with them. Nothing we do, including stuffing our faces and our feelings, is going to change anything. The only thing we can change is ourselves.

I know I need to figure out how to do this. I am an emotional wreck and eat 2 big meals for lunch plus a snack within seconds or minutes.

Law of the Garbage Truck

This has to be one of the best emails I have received in a long time because when you sit and think about the meaning, it is so true.

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around
and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'

This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of
frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.

As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.

Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other
people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so ..
Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
