Try drinking water, coffee, tea, herbal teas.

It often helps me to say that I will not eat for three hours after a meal. It takes the stomach about 3 hours to become empty again.
So 'postponing' is an important strategy for me. I tell myself I can eat, but only after 3 hours have gone by. In the meantime I try to do something that is either useful or relaxing. It happens frequently that by the time the 3 hours passed, I have forgotten about wanting to eat!

I meditate, play my flute, take walks, call a friend, hug my daughter, bounce on my yoga ball, knit.

Can you think of anythig not food related? Blog? Crochet? Solitaire? Sudoko?
Work on a scrapbook to be a Christmas/Holiday gift for a loved one?
I know, it's the last thing I'd want to hear, too. Sorry.

Today i started my " no binging " diet. I have done really good today.
Right now i am so anxious.... all i want to do is just devour something, anything. I almost feel like i am having withdrawals... I thought maybe i could buy some celery sticks but wouldnt that be defeating the purpose.. The whole goal is not to binge. Thinking of picking up a book to read or maybe drinking water. I am not hungry... I just want to eat !!!
