I don't have much time, I have to go to bed to get up an early morning shift tomorrow. My friend and I went to kickboxing tonight...and I forgot that last week she said that she'd take it easy on us...until tonight! Wow! She kicked our butts!!! Fun night though! Tina - remember that it's about making progress. You've done a great job and there is no time limit on you. Would I have liked to be at my goal weight now? Oh yes! However, I am in much better physical shape than I was two years ago. I have lots of new friends. I have rediscovered my love of running and now have the goal of completing a marathon. So not everything is about the scale and a step forward is still a step forward.

Happy Birthday to Rebecca & Suz--enjoy your special day with some pampering and allow yourslef a small piece of cake without guilt.

Thunder--I know what you mean. I missed my 2nd SP anniversary & didn't realize it! I'm not where I hoped to be at this point, but I AM down 20 lbs of the 40 I lost and working to get that 20 lb gain back off. The main thing I can say I learned from sP is that I like to walk and hike, just need to get my backside in gear and actually do it. I also found out that I CAN do it--just need to grab hold of the changes needed to get past my new lifestyle of traveling with my hubby.We have to keep our eyes on our goal and keep moving our bodies towards that goal. We CAN do this! GO BLC!

Good morning BBKB's
Today, I am celebating 32 months on Spark. It seemed a bit depressing until I realized that with all the battles fought throughout those months, I may not be at my 140 goal weight but I have conquered some demons. I am less of a couch potato than I used to be and I can only imagine where my weight might be if not for the many friends I have made along the journey. Not to mention, the many inspiring people who have passed through this thread. So, I will continue to struggle, I am sure of this, but I can say, it seems like just yesterday, time flew by so fast and I learn to take each day as it comes, not to be overly ambitious and to be happy where I am right now as I can look forward to hard work and a healthier me.

Well, happy Sunday evening. I have taken two days off from exercise and will hit the track tomorrow morning while the boys have gym class. I feel your celebration pain, Julie. At this moment there is a cake in the oven with my name on it for tomorrow is my birthday. I am blessed to be in good shape and hopefully next year I will have lost the weight I want to lose and be a runner!

Make a plan for those last chance workouts everyone!

Hi all,

Well, I just spent pretty much the entire weekend EATING at various Rosh Hashanah celebrations. Ugh! I am feeling really bloated now - which is motivating me to eat better the rest of the week. In fact, I'm determined to make it a really good week, after 2 weeks in a row of gains. :(

I did manage to squeeze some exercise in today, so that was good. But I think I'm catching a cold, so my energy has been really low. Trying to drink lots of fluids!

Well, my exercise yesterday was painting the dining room. Yukko. It came out a loud school-bus yellow. I used the paint with the primer built in, and was supposed to cover what was already there. But, it didn't. So now it's back to the paint store for a lovely taffy brown to cover it all up.
I'm going to have a very strong right arm!

Good morning Team. Haven't made it by here too much this week - was under the weather with a darn cold, and now have family in from Ohio, so it's a little more hectic than usual. Trying to keep on the Road to Success nutritionally - gotta go take a nice walk today too. Have an enjoyable Sunday.

I know why I was so sleepy.. closed last nite, got up & got it ready. Back home to listen to the guy working on my chimney.. no getting back to sleep. Then off to a family reunion (which I didn't each much at). Back home for an hour then off to the dinner theatre for the evening. I feel over stuffed now although it didn't seem like that much food.. hmm.. hopefully didn't do too much damage.

Its late & I'm heading to bed shortly!

Hi all,

I ended up taking a 2 hour nap all afternoon, which left no time to get my exercise in. I have no idea why I was so sleepy! (I slept well all week, including over 8 hours last night!). Maybe I'm fighting off a cold, in which case it's probably just as well that I got that sleep. Tomorrow I'm making exercise my #1 priority!!

Good Morning All! Its pouring here again in GA. I have so had enough of this rain. So many things flooded. Makes it very hard to get out and try to walk. I did get some ST in yesterday and hope to try and take it slow today with a Richard Simmons dvd, knee still not right.

Tiffy, Definitely seems like you got in some exercise.

Rebecca, Sounds like your son is proud of you and you are teaching them how to be healthy.

I got in some exercise today. Took my sons on a 20 minute walk. Older son told me it was harder than he thought it would be and I made this walking thing look easy! High praise from an 11-year-old, huh.

Wait a sec! I did get some exercise in today! I did a lot of running, and I do mean running, at work today PLUS!!! I unloaded the truck today with another guy as there was no one else to do it. So that was about an hour of physically demanding work...those fry boxes are really heavy!!! lol!

Congrats to the Periwinkle team! How much did you both lose?

I didn't do any exercise today :( I worked for 9 1/2 hours today and my feet/legs were really killing me so I thought that I would just rest them tonight and then go for a walk AND do Tae Bo tomorrow.

Congrats Periwinkle team, what a great loss!

I'm feeling good about this week!

I am jealous of Sue's wii! I bet you have a blast.
As far as what I am doing.. well, I guess you have to find something you love to do. I love step classes. My instructor is phenomenal. I told her yesterday how much she motivates me and just keeps me coming back for more. As I told her, there are things in that class that I do, I didnt think there was any way I would do.

It's Friday, who's happy about that??? MEEEEEE!

I too feel more motivated being back on here regularly.. yep, its the team thing.. need my friends to push me on! Going to need it more with the cool weather setting in.

Think today I'll just do some Wi games.. some of those get ya pumped up & sweaty. My legs have been cramping this week.. guess they are fighting me on getting back moving again! But I will win!

HONEEB3-I hope that your back gets better soon. My neck has been pretty screwy too since I hurt it a few summers ago, so it's best that you take care of it right away! Anything I can help with motivation-wise? I'm going to watch the show tomorrow evening, so hopefully that gives me a little bit more ooomph too!

I'm hoping to get some motivation back from the show LOL I am going to the chiropractor tomorrow My back is screwy.... Started having random numbness... Anyways Lots been going on got my kiddo into kindergarten, and her b-day is next week... Gotta scrub the house. I need to exercise.... Hi Everyone!

Just checking in before I go to work! I lost 1 pound this week, so I'm really happy about that emoticon I also went to a kickboxing class on Monday night and I absolutely loved it!!! I'm so going again! I think that it's going on for another 8 weeks, but I hope that it continues beyond that.

Oh, quick question...how long does the show run for? How long does our challenge run for? I know that it's pretty much the same length, but I didn't know how many months.

Oh, and a big thanks to all who didn't spoil the show! I didn't get to watch it yet as I had to work and won't get a chance to watch it until tomorrow evening. So thanks again guys!

Well, I did get a loss and hopefully I can keep it moving that way. My weight has really messed with my blood pressure so I need to get it off asap, especially the extra 5 pounds I gained over the summer.

Hang in there everyone and weigh in regardless. If you don't, who are you kidding? Gotta be honest with yourself - it's the only way to success.

Hi all,

Well, I'm starting off this season with a 2 lb gain - not good! I've been stuck at a plateau all year - hovering around 150 - up a couple, down a couple, but always stuck right around that same mark. So my major goal for this season is to break the plateau! A big thing I've noticed is that exercise is really key for me. The weeks I lose weight are the weeks I exercised consistently. When I'm exercising, the eating falls in line. When I don't exercise, that's more time to just sit around eating. So figuring out a regular exercise routine that I can stick with is going to be key for me.

Good evening..
Biggest loser just starting and getting ready to watch it. I just had to get on and gloat...two pound loss for me this week. Certainly not a biggest loser loss but fir me, it has been a long time since I have seen that in one week. So I was in total euphoria seeing that scale this morning.

Gonna get on the bowflex while the show is on. Nothing a like loss to get you excited about carrying on.

Hope all had a loss and keep up the hard work and those who had a tough time will we see improvement in the coming week.

Hi Everyone!

My main goal for this season is to get down to 160lbs. I have an Xmas challenge with HONEEB3 (Crystal) to help me with this.

Some of my other goals for the season would be to make exercise a regular part of my day. I'd love to be able to do Tae Bo at least 3 times a week and then walk every other day for at least 30-45 mins and then work my way up to, oh let's say an hour at the most emoticon

I too need to get back into a good exercise routine. I have to work on not letting things affect my way of eating and exercising. I plan on cutting back on my diet sodas and drinking more water. I am really hoping I can get my head back into living a more healthy life.

Good morning all!

My goals for this season:

Get back into a good exercise routine.
Cooking! I so stopped cooking my healthy meals over the summer!
To lose 30lbs - which will put me lower than before I gained the weight back!

Suz.. take it easy on the knee! Focus on the nutrition part & drinking water to start with. Fit in whatever exercise you can without hurting yourself! hugs!

My Goals for this season:

Are to take baby steps. I have really fallen behind over the summer and my weight is not at a healthy place. I will continue to try and keep my eating on track. As for the exercise, will slowly have to work my way back into it for my knee is still not right.

I hope to lose at least a pound a week.
