You could buy the small cans to have on hand. Or buy big cans-if you don't use it all, maybe freeze in ice cube trays to save to use later on. Also I don't know how strong juice is, but buy the individual serving pineapple. Or cans of pineapple chunks or slices.

Instead of keeping celery on hand all the time, I keep celery flakes so I can always get the flavor in my soups

If I don't have buttermilk on hand (I never keep it) and I need it in a recipe, I use milk and add a T of vinegar to make my own for whatever I am making)

@FROSTY99. Using Dawn sounds like a super idea! We use Dawn for the dishes (no dishwasher) so always have it on hand! We've found a vary small amount of Dawn goes a long way with a sink full of dishes.,,We'll try it the next time there's a plug!

For a clogged toilet we put in Dawn-about 2-3 oz followed by a large kettle of boiling water and let it set about 5 min and flush. Usually clears it up 1st time but if you have a really stubborn clog might take a 2nd time

To quickly clear drains, we buy a 6-pack of inexpensive cola. When a drain starts to plug, we empty one of the cans down the drain & let it sit for 10 minutes. Then we run hot water down the drain. It works about 95% of the time. The other times we have to go with snake or other means to unplug the drain.

wash windows with a mix of vinegar and water. Put on window with a rag and squeegee it off

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
