Avoid protein extremes. Diets very low or very high in protein may increase the risk of osteoporosis. Protein is necessary for bone formation, but practice moderation. Say no to high-protein diets.

Dive in. Although it's low-impact, new research shows that swimmers have stronger bones than people who don't swim at all. Experts think that the resistance of the water helps build bone strength.

Dr put me on Calcium and Vitamin D. Coffee is my weakness but I drink a water for every cup of caffeine I drink. Also love my milk and would rather be outside than inside. Poor house shows it if I don't make limits to outside or do Marla's timer method of rotation. Also try to walk everyday around my neighbors pond or in my wetland/bog/woods..

That which I Will to happen in truth, I will put action behind to achieve and the Lord will help me if I ask IN BELIEF!

My daughters have the same problem with kidney stones and have to limit their calcium. Knock on wood, I haven’t had that problem.

Consider a calcium supplement. Look for calcium citrate or calcium carbonate, which are both safe and utilized well by the body. But don't rely on supplements alone. It's best to get bone building nutrients from foods.

Go fish! Both salmon and shrimp are good sources of vitamin D. Fish also contain calcium: 325 mg in 3oz. of sardines and 100 mg. in 3oz of salmon, for example.
